Hungry for Monster-Hunter Ramen Noodles ?? Well look no further !!

I was looking for around at the local Lawson’s (similar to Seven-11) and guess what they had there..  Yep Monster Hunter Ramen.  For a very low price of $2 US dollars.. I picked up a pack and took it back to my hotel room and go stuck into them.  Yes they were very delicious.  Its what every Monster Hunter needs to recharge their batteries after a long day of slaying those pesky Monsters 🙂

If you want to a pack bowl of these Ramen.  I think the only place to get them is gonna have to be Japan.  Sorry rest of the world.  Correct me if i’m wrong but this sort of whacky stuff can only be available here in the land of the rising noodle… i mean sun 🙂

Take a look at the pics..  Let me know what you think

Grand Theft Auto Liberty City – Weazle News Report

In this Weazel news exclusive, Weazel’s crack team of investigative reporters and former lobbyists cut through the filter of the mainstream media to find the paranoia behind the truth to a recent string of attacks in Liberty City, which has forced the LCPD into an escalating arms race. Our Weazel News expert demonstrates these fearsome new weapons including sticky bombs, advanced sniper rifles, automatic shotguns and exploding bullets; while recently discovered footage from a Liberty City tourist appears to show a rocket-equipped military grade helicopter known only as The Buzzard wreaking havoc in Liberty City airspace.

Playstation 3 & Xbox 360 Prices in Japan

0

As you just read from my previous post Capsule Computers is in Japan at the moment.  I made my way over to Bic Camera in Osaka tonight and also spotted some pricing for both the new Playstation 3 Slim and the Xbox 360 Elite.

It seems that the Xbox 360 is now shaping up pretty good in Japan.  I was there 2 years ago and there wasn’t much exposure for it back then.  Now its blooming and has as much marketing as the Sony Playstation 3 has.  There was even a Halo 3 ODST promo stand playing a trailer for ODST with the marketing all around the game focusing on pre-ordering your copy.

Lets start with the Xbox 360.  Check out these pics :

XBOX 360 Elite (E-Ri-To) 29,800 YEN ($326 USD) ($375 AUD)

Not a bad price for an Elite Xbox

The Marketing for HALO 3 ODST .. looks very impressive.  I liked the little cut out figurines up the top of the marketing stand.  I think this promotional stand is far better compared to some stores in Australia.  Not long now before we Jump into the action with HALO 3 OSDT !!!(24/9/2009)

Next we have the Sony Playstation 3 slim.   Marketing for the Playstation has always been strong in Japan.  And with the Slim just recently released the price tag is very appealing .. check out these pics and pricing.  I think I’m gonna get myself a PS3 Slim just because its soo CHEAP !!

Now 29,980 YEN .. thats $328 USD and only $377 AUD .. Compared to the price we are paying in Australia for a new PS3 which is $500 !!!! I think you would be mad not to get one of these if you had the chance.

More Advertising

Simple little brochure.  Straight to the point and very stylish.

Both the Xbox and the Playstation 3 slim are marketed at roughly the same price.  Only about $2-3 difference between them.  Which is great for anyone that loves their games and gaming consoles over here in Japan.  I would say if you haven’t already got them .. go out and get them both for nearly what it will cost the Australian consumer to buy just 1 PS3 and a Game.

Ok that’s it for me for another night.  I’ll speak to you all tomorrow.

Let me know what you think of the pricing and this article 🙂

Monster Hunter 3 at BicCamera Japan

I made my way over to Bic-Camera tonight in Osaka Japan and saw some really cool stuff.  But one thing that Caught my eye was MONSTER HUNTER 3 by Capcom on the Nintendo Wii.

We all know how much everyone loves Monster Hunter 3 especially in Japan.  It’s so popular and cool that it has its own walk this way advertisement on the ground to point people in the right direction to buy the game .. It had me hooked.  Check these pics out :

Once I followed the little path .. I made my way over to the game and bought myself a copy 🙂

It’s in Japanese, I wont be playing this version as I cant read Japanese, but its for my Capcom Collection and its at a great price too.  Anyone living in Japan, make your way over to Bic Camera and get yourself Monster Hunter 3 at a bargain price 🙂

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Update

0

At the Microsoft Event in LA, Infinity Ward unveiled the multiplayer mode for Modern Warfare 2.

The multiplayer already posted “Xbox 360 Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition Console” the presentation began with the unveiling of the Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition Xbox 360 console, (check out the previous article for more details) Once the Limited edition console was preseted Infinity Ward moved on to demonstate several of the new multiplayer features that will be available in the sequel.

Some of the new features are : Customizable killstreaks. Players can now choose which killstreaks they want enabled, with a list of unlockable streaks available in the pre game menu system. The Killstreak features included the UAV at 3 kills, a care package at 4 kills, which could consist of killstreak random bonus or ammunition, and at 11 kills a AC-130 Gunship to chop down your enemies like a hot knife through butter !!

New to Modern Warfare 2 multiplayers is the death streaks, these are bonuses earned for dying multiple times in a row .. (something a lot of us are used to doing). Such bonuses are :  Copycat : This gifts you the class and weapons of the player that killed you after four consecutive deaths.  The other bonus is a health increase after three deaths, this will become available after you respawn.

Infinity Ward also presented the new system called Callsign.  This will allow all players to pic their own individual callsigns and rank emblems. This is extremely cool as it will grant you the ability to choose and pick different icons and titles however you wish.

Modern Warfare 2 is shaping up to being most certainly the game of the year for 2009.  Check out some of the great multiplayer screenshots below.

Modern Warfare 2 will be out on sale on the 10th Of November for Xbox 360, Games for Windows and Playstation 3

Let us know what you think of all of this your feedback is greatly appreciated.
