Fable 3 Screens Show Albion Anew

Microsoft is giving us a big sneak peak into the areas and characters of Fable III. The large majority of the characters are females, but I am hoping that in this Fable, a fully leveled up female character will not look like she has been on steroids.

But one thing you will notice is that Albion is looking quite appealing and your good ol friend the dog will be returning this October on the 26th on both the PC and the 360.

Quantum Theory Gameplay Video

Looks a bit like Gears of War was put together with a bit of a fantastical element in this gameplay shown below. Tecmo Koei has released a long gameplay video that although may seem a bit familiar definitely looks fun. They say mimicry is the highest form of flattery.

Expect to find Quantum Theory to hit shelves on both the Xbox 360 and PS3 later this Summer season. To read up a bit of extra info on the game you can find it here.  I am liking the girl though.

Get nail’d and LOVE IT !!

Name:                                  nail’d
Publisher:                         Deep Silver
Developer:                        Techland
Platform:                           Xbox 360, PS3, PC
Genre:                                  Racing, Arcade
Players:                               1-12
Release Date:                   Q4 2010

nail’d is all about eschewing boring realism for over the top arcade fun. It’s a racer that challenges everything from player reflexes to the rules of physics. Riding on ATVs and motocross bikes with powerful boost controls, players will race down near-vertical courses of incredible jumps, stunts and obstacles. The brutal challenge of the Yosemite National Park is but one of the many places they’ll learn the meaning of verticality.

nail’d’s single-player campaign features multiple configurable modes and races including Tournament, Time Attack and Quick Event. The multi-player mode allows players to compete head to head in a range of race-types locally or online. Earned points will determine a player’s position on leader boards. Based on the player’s performance and ability to pull off stunning feats of speed and glory during each race, they’ll unlock exciting new components to customize their vehicle.

Features:

  • High-Octane Speed:  nail’d aims to be the fastest off-road racer of them all – each track is engineered to keep players on the edge of their seat with anticipation of what’s behind the next hairpin bend.  What’s more, nail’d focuses on players utilizing its amazing turbo boost ability for incentives rather than points, supercharging the game’s sense of lightning-fast speed.
  • Extreme Terrain:  nail’d, while set in real-life locations such as Yosemite Park, is designed to reflect the over-the-top arcade nature of the game. This is a world where impossible tracks and broken and bent laws of physics reign supreme!
  • Over the Top Jumps:  There’s nothing like flying off a cliff edge and then falling half a mile towards the ground. Sounds like fun? Throw-in dodging the blades of several towering wind turbines and struggling to nail the perfect landing with your opponents trying to knock you from your ride. If ‘big air’ in other games is earth-sized, Nail’d is like a twin galaxy of stomach-in-mouth terror.
  • Intense Head to Head Action: Up to 11 AI opponents will keep players on their toes; they say death comes from above and that’s very often the case in nail’d.  It’s not all one way though, players can knock opponents from their vehicles and for extreme punishment they can deal a crushing blow from the sky by landing on top of their opponents.
  • Straightforward Arcade Fun:  It’s not about gear ratios and weight distribution – nail’d is simply push button -> go fast -> try not to die in a ball of flaming doom!  Easy to pick up gameplay and over the top environments, jumps and spectacular deaths make this game a thrill to play or even just sit back and watch.
  • Stunning Visual Effects and Outdoor Environments:  Using Techland’s Chrome4 engine, nail’d features cutting-edge visuals including expansive vistas, highly complex geometry and a host of visual effects such as mud and water splashes.

Check out the trailer below !! it looks CRAZY, FAST, FUN and full of ACTION !!

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron

An adventure that transcends Heaven and Earth to grace the PlayStation3 and Xbox 360 in 2011

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron is a 3rd person fantasy action title inspired by events in the Old Testament, in particular the apocryphal ‘Book of Enoch’. Enoch, a brave and just human, is caught up in a pivotal battle raging between Heaven and the Fallen Angels. Though lacking their monstrous powers, he must overcome the Fallen Angels in order to save humankind from a great flood ordered by Heaven to wash away their twisted empire on Earth.  In order to succeed, Enoch must use his natural combat skills and master a range of powerful Heavenly weapons under the guidance of the watchful Archangels. Heaven’s true wild card is Lucifel, the enigmatic red-eyed angel, who is always in Enoch’s ear with a word of advice and a line in dry wit. The tale combines adventure, humour, and horror, along with breathtaking beauty and heart-tugging emotion.

The Tokyo-based studio has amassed a hugely talented and visionary team, headed by Sawaki Takeyasu (Game Director, Character Designer) and Masato Kimura (Producer), both of whom have experience of bringing stunning games to market, with credits including Devil May Cry, Okami and Viewtiful Joe.

“When developing this title, it was imperative that we give these immensely talented game designers total artistic freedom,” says UTV Ignition Entertainment Chairman Hassan Sadiq. “And they have truly risen to the occasion by forging an adventure that combines a compelling, universally relatable story line with deep gameplay and a uniquely expressive visual style.”

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron will be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation3 in 2011

UTV Ignition Entertainment will be sharing further information directly following their official unveiling at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles this week.

NeverDead announced by Konami

Konami has been bringing out the hits today at E3 and NeverDead is one of their biggest swings yet. It is a brand new franchise being developed by Rebellion. It will be a third person shooter with a unique feature; you will be able to re build your body after certain parts have been blown off. You can be your own walking Frankenstein! There wasn’t much info released on this feature but it is easy to say that it is quite unique.

There was a trailer shown at announcement and can be seen below, in a world where strange creatures cover the planet and humans survive in an apocalyptic wasteland. Boy the apocalypse will have no surprises soon with how many times it has been used lately, but with a decent chunk of comedy thrown in should put a bright side on the whole wasteland experience.

Expect to see NeverDead on both the 360 and PS3, but we have yet to hear of any release date yet.

New Silent Hill game announced for 360 and PS3

Konami has just broke some very big news at E3 with the announcement of Silent Hill 8, though that is not the actual title of the game. It’s unfortunately only slated for a 2011 release date so we have an entire year of time to work with and wait for a brand new Silent Hill. Die hard fans of the survival horror genre have always found the Silent Hill series a staple in an under appreciated genre, and with it finally getting more love we can’t wait.

Here is what we know of the storyline so far from Konami:

The survival horror experience begins after a prison transport vehicle careens off the road, leaving lone inmate Murphy Pendleton stranded in Silent Hill.

Gamers will encounter mind-bending puzzles, as well as horrific creatures and other world terrors using everyday objects from wooden chairs to glass bottles to fend off their enemies.

The natural response, fight or flight is left to the player as they unravel a dark, thought-provoking storyline which will appeal to fans of the early, classic Silent Hill series, as well as anyone who enjoys a deep, psychological horror experience.

Unlike Silent Hill: Homecoming, Konami has stated that fans of the earlier series will be very appreciative towards the new story. This could mean a return to simpler times and awkward combat that was endearing to the original series. Besides the storyline above though, there will be side stories that will help unveil the dark secrets of the town.

Saw 2 Release Date Revealed, not a surprise

Konami has released the date that Saw II: Flesh and Blood will be coming onto shelves. So if you want to play a game, Halloween will be the time to do it. Ironically this is far from a surprise as the Saw franchise always releases movies either on Halloween or shortly before it.

John Williamson from Konami told us that we will be playing as Michael, who is the son of the Detective from the very first Saw game, which is where they pull together the flesh and blood name together. It’ll be arriving on the PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 31st, better known as Halloween.
