For Pac-Man’s 30th birthday, Namco Bandai is releasing Pac-Man Party for the Wii. Set in the theme of a birthday party, up to four players will be able to compete in mini games featuring cooperative and competitive play. Gamers of all ages are challenged in such games as eating and racing. Some other games included are: curling, tennis, golf and knocking your friends off a mountain (remeber, it is just a game.) Story mode will have you exploring all the game board worlds and unlocking items. Party mode will enable you, plus three others, to compete for the most points by building and developing properties on a given space. There will also be power up cards that will increase a characters size or speed. Finally, the original arcade versions of Pac-Man, Galaga and Dig-Dug will be available to play. Pac-Man Party is scheduled to be released later this year.
Microsoft Xbox Kinect Interview with Kudo Tsunoda

Tokyo Game Show 2010 was totally fantastic this year. My final interview of at Tokyo Game Show was with “THE MAN” behind Microsoft’s soon to be released revolutionary gaming peripheral “Kinect” General Manager & Creative Director Kudo Tsunoda. Let me start by saying Kudo is one of the most down to earth and nicest guys I’ve ever had the pleasure in meeting and interviewing here at Capsule Computers. In the interview Kudo explains what Kinect is (for anyone out there that still doesn’t know) how it works and how easy it is to control your Xbox 360 without a controller, to what we can expect from Launch along with many other cool things.
After the interview I had to give Kinect a try and let me tell you I was totally blown away !!! It’s VERY responsive and the tracking of your motions back onto the screen is super quick. I tested out Sega’s Sonic skateboard racer and Kinect Adventures and both were great fun. Let me say that after 5 mins of playing, I’d already burnt off my lunch 😉 Kinect is certainly a fantastic concept that can be enjoyed by all no matter how old you are.
Check out the interview and also the screenshots of MasterAbbott Playing Kinect :
Capsule Computers would like to thank Kudo for taking the time to answer our questions and run us through how Kinect works. We wish Microsoft and Kudo’s Team the best of luck with the release of Kinect.
Knights Contract recieves an official trailer
Immortality may seem like a blessing to some, but what happens after you have gained immortal life? You would slowly grow to dread it, much like Heinrich has over the years of being an executioner. Though what happens when a witch that you had executed years ago appears before you not only alive, but promising to break the curse of immortality that is plaguing you? That is exactly how the story appears to begin in this Knights Contract trailer released by Namco Bandai today.
With over the top fantasy violence combined with spectacular magical effects the team work we will be seeing next year when this game comes out appears to be stellar from the trailer. We are even introduced to what may be the main enemy of the game at the end when another mysterious witch appears in front of a young girl. Expect to see Knights Contract sometime next year on shelves everywhere. Catch the trailer below.
Marvel vs Capcom 3 : Fate Of Two Worlds Interview with Seth Killian

I recently spoke to Seth Killian, Special Advisor on Marvel vs Capcom 3 at Tokyo Game Show. Seth ran us through what to expect in terms of new characters, best characters to use for new comers and also veterans of the series, plus a whole lot more. Before the interview Seth and I sat down and had a challenge, we couldnt record this but let me tell you, it was close !! VERY CLOSE !! so close that Seth nearly destroyed me perfectly 😉 Just kidding it was a close match, being a hardcore Resident Evil fan I used Chris Redfield, Ryu and Dante from Devil’s May Cry to take down the man they call “Special Advisor” but sadly due to getting something in my eye and not knowing the button configuration on the arcade stick controller (look I’ve got to use some sort of excuse) 😉 Seth put me out of my misery.
This interview will answer quite a few questions for all you hardcore Marvel Vs Capcom 3 fans out there. Seth also explains how the game mechanics of Marvel Vs Capcom 3 are setup and how easy it is for new comers to pick up the game and get stuck into it straight off the bat. In the character department Seth advised that on the Capcom side, Viewtiful Joe the wolf from Okami, Tron Bonne are now playable characters. On the Marvel side, Dormammu, Thor and X23. I’ll let the interview explain the rest.
Enjoy the interview and screenshots below :
Let us know what you thought of the interview.

Fable 3 awakens the interior decorator in us all
Now when you think about Fable, you think about good and evil, an enormous fantasy world, swords, magic, dogs…. But what about the houses? If you were like me, you had to look for getting certain achievements in Fable 2 which involved making various real estate purchases and taking care of your property and modifying it even to make your tenants happy. However there wasn’t a whole lot of customization to be had in that mode was there?
Well Lionhead has just given us a new video that shows the new house customization system which will allow you to create the house of your dreams, or the house of your nightmares if you so wish. Quite literally everything inside the house is available for customization, and can be moved around and placed wherever you want them to be. While some players may not find this as a major addition, it will be great news to those who enjoyed the house system in Fable 2 and were hoping to see it expanded upon.
Pokémon Black & White sells 2.6 million copies in 48 hours
As some people get older their interests start to wane when it comes to games that they used to play, but there is one thing that it seems will never pass out of popularity, and that thing is Pokémon. The game had barely been on shelves for two days and it has already doubled the amount of sales from the previous iteration of the Pokémon series being Heart Gold/Silver. Heart Gold/Silver only were able to sell 1.4 million units in the first 48 hours.
One thing that should be recognized though, is that Black & White are far more different than any other Pokémon sequel since Red and Blue were released. There are new characters, a completely different world, an entirely different roster of Pokémon, (with old Pokémon only showing up after game completion), and much more additions to the fundamental Pokémon formula.
Unfortunately those of us outside of Japan will have to wait until Spring 2011 to see all of these new features in our own hands.
