Housemarque, creators of Stardust HD, are developing this eye catching game, and it is slated to be released in 2011 on Xbox 360 and PS3. One man must stand against Balance and Chaos. He must use both the powers of light and dark to save the world, or doom it. Taking inspiration from Prince of Persia and Assassin’s Creed, players must master the deadly traps of the world. Featuring a soundtrack from Ari Pulkkinen, this game looks pretty darn awesome. You know awesome when you see it.

Sure, you can build giant castles in Minecraft. You can even build a 1:1 replica of the enterprise from Star Trek. But I bet you didn’t think you could build a 16-bit ALU that can do basic math in binary.

Scott Pilgrim Upcoming DLC and Patch Details

Ubisoft announced at its 2010 Digital Day event yesterday that DLC is coming soon for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game. In November actually, to supposedly coincide with the film’s release on DVD and Blu-ray. The DLC content will include a new playable character, Knives Chau. There are also two new modes included, which is a free-for-all arena battle with weapons and dodgeball. The current set price for this DLC will be 160MSP or $1.99 on PSN.

Coinciding with the DLC a patch will be released to address difficulty balancing, clean out several bugs and introduce drop-in/drop-out co-op. Sadly the drop-in/drop-out co-op is still only for offline play. Ubisoft currently has no plans of releasing Online Co-op for this beat-em-up title.

Assassin’s Creed Facebook Game

For those of you that don’t scream “Taboo” when you here the word facebook, and are also looking forward to Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood; then you might enjoy this bit of news.

There is a facebook game available…. on facebook… that will connect directly with the upcoming Assassin’s Creed game. The strategy title, supposedly plays similarly to Mafia Wars, and will “unlock extra content” and bonus experience in Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, which comes out on November 16.

But don’t think you’ll stop playing this game when Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood comes out, because you can “unlock up to 25 exclusive missions” as well as experience and in-game currency, in the Facebook game; by playing Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. Talk about a double hitter!

The Japanese Okamiden Commercial is really cute. Cute Girl, Cute Puppy, and some gameplay footage thrown in as well.

Sure the entire 15 minutes is just gibberish to anyone who doesn’t know the language, but I’m sure you can appreciate what they are trying to pull off. With this one commercial, they are targeting both the females and the male consumers… Man those Japanese are smart!

Bloody Good Time to be had on October 27th

Ubisoft is definitely bringing comedic murder to an all new level in their upcoming game Bloody Good Time. As you can see below the newly released trailer shows game footage of how you will be doing battle with your fellow co-stars to see who can be the most merciless and end up being the breakout star in the big world of Hollywood films. Sure the trailer may seem the same from the beginning but after that poor clown is tazered to death we see a variety of stereotypical movie characters doing battle with one another and killing one another with different weapons as if we were doing the murdering ourselves. Looks like you never truly understand a killer until you’ve seen the world through their eyes eh?

There has been no pricing announced quite yet for the game, but the release date has been announced for October 27th for both the XBLA and Steam download.

If you want to try out the demo for Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, it is now possible. Add the demo to your Xbox 360 queue here. The demo is also available for the PS3 system via PSN. Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is based on the 400 year old story, Journey to the West. You play as Monkey, a very strong character that MUST help Trip, electrical hacking genius.
