New Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Trailer & Screens show Doctor Strange and Nemesis in Action!

Capcom are bringing their all to Gamescom 2011, and with the release of Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom lingering away in November, a brand new trailer and screenshots were fed to the crowd to assist with the wait time. This clip gives us a first look at both Nemesis from the Resident Evil series as well as the infamous Doctor Strange, who is one of Marvel’s most notorious characters from the comic book series of the same name.

It appears that Nemesis will be quite a tank and also feature an incredible hyper combo, while Doctor Strange will be more quick and agile, using his magic abilities to assist in overcoming foes. Check out the trailer and shiny new screenshots below and once more info for the other new characters in UMVC surface, we will sure to bring you the reveals here.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine avatar items released to marketplace

If you were thinking that the best way to make your avatar look a little bit tougher was to get a scary looking pet? Then perhaps you should go browse the Xbox Live Avatar Marketplace because THQ has released a whole slew of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine clothing and pets for your avatar.

Unfortunately before you get to excited, they haven’t released any armor or sword chainsaws to deck out your virtual self, but they have released 80 MSP ($1) t-shirts and hats that represent the game’s factions or you could even buy a Squig, Gretchin or Servo Skull as a pet for 160 MSP. You can take and get a little preview of what each item will look like below, but then again you can always see how they will look on your avatar on the 360 console itself.

Need for Speed Buried Alive

I’m getting more and more excited about this title as more information is being revealed through the various trailers. After the seriousness of Shift 2, EA look like they have gone back to the roots of what made the Need for Speed franchise such a hit to begin with. All the elements of arcade style high speed racing are present as well as the danger and pure thrill of being in control of a vehicle with no driving restrictions being imposed. In this trailer titled Buied Alive, we join Jack, the main character in the story in Colorado as he has to make a life threatening decision about which path to follow. The choices are a sharp contrast, take the easy route and lose valuable time, or trust your instincts and take the shorter more dangerous route, utilising all your driving skills to beat the clock and the challenging environment.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning – Gamescom 2011 trailer

Today, in addition to revealing that Kingdoms of Amalur would release on February 7th in America and the 10th in Europe, Electronic Arts also gave us a trailer showing off the gameplay and story.

With game design by Ken Rolston and art from Todd McFarlane, Kingdoms of Amalur certainly looks to be stylish. Plus, R.A. Salvatore has written the story, so this is one video game that will not only look great, but also have a well written story (hopefully). Check out the trailer below, and then give us your thoughts on the upcoming game. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning will release on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

Dance Central 2 gets a New Trailer, Screens, and a Date…

With all of the reveals for dancing games in the past few days, I almost forgot about Dance Central 2 for the Kinect to be honest. Luckily, Harmonix brought the title to Gamescom to make us all remember why it is still one of the best series for the Kinect, showing off a new trailer, screenshots, and character art that players can expect to see when it hits stores in October.

So what’s new for this motion controlled dance game? A new “dance battle” mode has been included that features drop in/drop out multiplayer, 40 new tracks for players to jam to, and the ability to import all songs from the first title to this sequel, which is something Harmonix is known for including with any music title they release.

Right now though, we have a shiny new trailer that you can feast your eyes on below, showing off some of the “dance crews” that will be featured in the game as well as a couple new screenshots. Dance Central 2 hits the Kinect on October 21st for Europe, and the 25th in North America.

Resident Evil: Revelations has a new trailer, zombie wolves and will be available early next year

So far, we’ve only seen that Resident Evil: Revelations will take place on an abandoned cruise ship and players will be taking control of Jill Valentine and Parker Luciani. The plot will take place somewhere between Resident Evil 4 and 5 and they are on the boat searching for Chris.

But it seems that Chris won’t be there, because today Capcom released a whole slew of new information and media for the title, all of it focusing on Chris Redfield and where him, and his new BSAA partner Jessica Sherawat are at. The two of them are in the mountains looking for a plane crash, and apparently they will be attacked by infected zombie wolves as you can see in the screenshots and trailer below. Now when can we expect to see this title on the 3DS? Sometime early in 2012 it seems.

Kinect: Disneyland Adventures begins its journey on November 15th

Not everyone lives close to a Disneyland park and therefore can’t enjoy the supposedly most wonderful place on Earth. But it seems that this holiday season you and your children can enjoy the wonders of Disneyland without having to leave the comfort of your living room. Though previously announced at E3, Kinect: Disneyland Adventures never was given a release date, until now.

Kinect: Disneyland Adventures will be available on November 15th and is being developed by Frontier Developments to be the prettiest looking recreation of the park ever. You can venture around the park with your children or play several minigames that mimic Disney attractions so you can still somewhat experience the rides there in the form of re-imagined minigames. I wonder if there will be virtual line standing as well…

Asura’s Wrath Gamescom trailer is as over the top as it gets

After watching this trailer, the word over the top and Asura’s Wrath may as well become synonymous with one another because not only does this trailer show just how silly the title is, but how awesome it is as well. The trailer was released by Capcom at Gamescom earlier today and although it may start simple and relaxing, it quickly becomes anything but.

We go from Asura relaxing in the bath with an old friend of some sort to the two of them locked in intense combat on the surface of the moon. That is of course until Asura is stabbed and slammed to Earth by the biggest sword ever in a video game. Though we won’t be seeing our six armed berserker until sometime early in 2012, as long as they keep releasing trailers like this, fans will be satisfied.

Ubisoft reveals six PlayStation Vita games in development

Ubisoft knows that the launch of a new platform means a lot of consumers eager to purchase new content for their shiny handheld gaming device and they are certainly not going to be left out of that potential money maker. Today Ubisoft announced a slew of new games that the company is currently developing for the PlayStation Vita, including Asphalt racing game, Assassin’s Creed, Dungeon Hunter Alliance, Rayman Origins, Michael Jackson: The Experience and Lumines.

Ubisoft released a screenshot for the Asphalt racing title which can be seen above, but unfortunately did not reveal any release window for any of these titles, though we can guess that a large number, if not all will be available by the time that the PlayStation Vita launches next year.
