Resident Evil 6 appears on veteran voice actor’s credit list

1

While there are a few Resident Evil titles on the way, there has been no announcement about an actual continuation in the game’s main storyline since the release of Resident Evil 5. However that may all be changing as Capcom’s headline series may be getting a numbered sequel as Resident Evil 6 is now rumored to be alive.

The rumors come from the fact that veteran voice actor Joe Cappelletti’s credit page showed Resident Evil 6 as one of the titles he has worked on. This includes many recent titles and a number of other Capcom owned titles. Since then the listing was removed, but the question here is that there are no other titles even close to Resident Evil 6 on his page, so perhaps his reveal was a bit too early for Capcom’s tastes? Though the misspelling of Modern Warfare 3 could lead to some doubts…

Dragon Quest Slime Meat Buns created, best thing ever

Dragon Quest lovers should know that this year is the 25th anniversary of the series, and some Family Mart locations in Japan have decided to celebrate in their own little way. A few of these stores have already begun selling them and if you are in Japan you best hurry to one of these stores as the company is only creating a million of these delicious looking fellows.

As you can see above and in in the video below, the convenience store chain has created these Slime Meat Buns from Dragon Quest. The meat buns themselves will run at 170 yen which is roughly $2 in American. Now while some of us can’t pick these guys up at all, we can be envious of those who can while we watch this video below of them being eaten.

Famitsu gives Skyrim the first ever perfect score for a Western game

Let’s face it, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a massive title and one of the best games that most people have had a chance to play in many years. Quite a few members of our own site have fallen into the world that Skyrim creates and have had difficulty extracting themselves to still acknowledge this world called Earth.

It seems that even one of the stricter publications in Japan even loves Skyrim. The magazine Famitsu provides review scores for both Western and Japanese games and this is the first time in the publication’s 25 year history that they have ever given a Western developed title a 40/40, or a perfect score. This also puts Skyrim as one of only 17 titles to ever receive the honor. Bravo Bethesda… bravo.

Final Fantasy XIII-2’s Noel to wear the garb of the assassin in Ubisoft collaboration

Quick, think of the strangest cameo appearance a character has made in a different franchise or a reference to another title that just seemed a bit out of place. Now listen to this, it appears that Square Enix is going to be teaming up with Ubisoft to provide quite a unique piece of DLC for their upcoming title Final Fantasy XIII-2.

It was revealed today that they will be bringing Ezio Auditore’s assassin garb from Assassin’s Creed Revelations to Final Fantasy XIII-2 as an alternate costume to be worn by FFXIII-2’s new time traveling hero Noel Kreiss. They have yet to price the DLC or give it a date of release, but considering Final Fantasy XIII-2 doesn’t come out until January 31, 2012 they have plenty of time to work that out. Any guesses as to who or what they may reference if they do a costume for Serah?
