Razer Naga Recieves A Facelift

The original Razer Naga is receiving a little bit of a facelift with it’s upcoming faceplate change. The change will introduce a matte finish to the mouse, as well as introducing three new sidepanels that are sure to increase your comfort while using the product.

On the revamp, Razer had this to say –

“When we released the Razer Naga three years ago, we knew its twelve-button thumb grid was an amazing, revolutionary interface that was going to change the way gamers enjoy MMO action,” said Robert ‘RazerGuy’ Krakoff, President, Razer USA.  “Three years on and the number of gamers armed with the Razer Naga continues to grow.  We want to keep updating the Razer Naga with the best features, and keep arming gamers with the best MMO gaming mouse in the world.”

It seems that this new facelift will enhance grip and possibly even reduce grime build-ups on the mouse. It has anti-slip and even anti-fingerprint technologies making it that much more comfortable. Razer have also slightly adjusted the positioning of the additional mouse buttons, making it a much more comfortable feel. ~Get IMBA~

Square Enix and Bigpoint Unveil Gameglobe

Square Enix and Bigpoint have been working together to bring a new online game platform to players in Europe and North America.  Made by Square Enix group devloper hapti.co and to be distributed by Bigpoint, Gameglobe is a game platform for players to be able to build their own levels and worlds in addition to playing those of other players.

Designed to be a free-to-play adventure center, Gameglobe leaves it to the players to make a worthwhile experience, by providing the tools to make game worlds with console quality HD graphics and easy accessibility for all.  This can certainly provide a way for players to get a better idea of just how much work goes into designing a game, even if most of the tools are provided already.  While currently only in a closed beta, it will be opening up to more players in the next few months, so players that are interested can sign up for the beta right now at the Gameglobe website HERE.

Sony’s “True Fantasy” Soul Sacrifice will be fully revealed May 10

With the full announcement for Sony’s upcoming fantasy game on the PlayStation Vita only two days away it only makes sense that they are keeping all of the details about the game from the public. However today they did release a trailer that may as well be the definition of teaser.

The trailer contains a very small amount of shaded gameplay at the end as well as the fact that the game is being developed at Sony’s Japan Studio. The full reveal will occur at the Tokyo International Forum on May 10th. Perhaps we will also be hearing news about a worldwide release for what Sony is calling a “true fantasy title?”

Face off against Ryu in Asura’s Wrath today

In what can only be seen as a very strange crossover, even for Capcom’s standards, the DLC that will pit Asura against Street Fighter’s Ryu in Asura’s Wrath was released worldwide today. The DLC can be picked up on the PS3 or 360 for $2 or 160 MSP respectively. It is worth noting however that the DLC is not English dubbed and the characters will only speak in Japanese.

Not much is known about this DLC at the moment besides the fact that the two fighters will face off against one another in a Street Fighter IV like battle system. Does this mean that Asura may be a character in Ultimate Street Fighter IV Arcade Crossover Hyper Extended Edition Infinity Burst? Possibly. Or you know… they’ll lock him on there as some on-disk DLC.

Hitman: Sniper Challenge may be a spinoff pre-order bonus for Hitman: Absolution

Why wait for Hitman: Absolution to get an official release date when you can get some sniper action very soon? Well, that may be the case as a magazine ad from Game Informer has been scanned and uploaded online which reveals that a downloadable game called “Hitman: Sniper Challenge” will be given as a pre-order bonus for those who pre-order Hitman: Absolution at GameStop.

The ad itself states the game will feature one “replayable sniper mission” which will place an emphasis on score. Those with the highest scores will be entered to win “awesome prize packages” as well. Currently Square Enix hasn’t said anything official about this reveal so this should be taken as a rumor at the moment, albeit a rumor that is most likely real.

Get your first look at the Hatsune Miku PlayStation Vita

Earlier today it was revealed that Sony would be releasing a Crystal White PlayStation Vita in Japan as well as one featuring everyone’s favorite virtual idol Hatsune Miku. At the time however the only image revealed during this announcement was the simple white Vita with only a brief mention of the vocaloid version.

Now some footage has been released of this Hatsune Miku Limited Edition Vita as you can see the image above and the trailer below show off this version of the Vita. It is sad to know however that the chances of this Vita version ever being released overseas are practically zero which is pretty much the same chance that the Next Hatsune Miku Project Diva for the Vita will be localized.

Kinect Play Fit and wireless heart monitor Joule may be in development for Kinect

Considering how many fitness games have been released for the Kinect since it has been released it was only a matter of time before someone, namely Microsoft, make some sort of system that tracks your amount of exercise and even a heart-rate monitor. Anonymous sources have spoken with The Verge and these sources have said that Microsoft is planning to release Kinect Play Fit and Joule sometime soon.

Kinect Play Fit will track your exercise across “most Kinect games” and will save your data to the cloud while Joule will be a heart rate monitor which will wirelessly monitor your heart rate so players can try to keep their heart rate “within a target goal for weight loss, strength, or cross-fitness workouts.”

Microsoft themselves have been very helpful with the rumor by stating that “Microsoft does not comment on rumors or speculation.” Anyone want to bet that next month at E3 we will be seeing these two things revealed?
