Senran Kagura Burst comes with original Senran Kagura

If you haven’t picked up Senran Kagura (well, you really only could if you happen to live in Japan) then you probably shouldn’t yet, because when its sequel Senran Kagura Burst hits store shelves it will include the original game completely free of charge. Famitsu revealed this week that Senran Kagura Burst will contain the entire game which has been upgraded with a number of features which have been added to the sequel.

This includes the 3D locker room where you can dress up your girls… Sounds fun. Interestingly enough, Burst will feature a new cast of playable characters who were originally the rivals of the original cast. Perhaps we will eventually hear about someone localizing this game? Maybe?

Tiger & Bunny English release date coming in 2013

Over the past couple of weeks Viz Media has been slowly revealing the cast who will be handling the English voice acting for their translation of Tiger & Bunny. Despite all these teases however, they company hasn’t actually given any release window for the anime.

That was until Saturday during FanimeCon where a Viz representative stated that the show will be released in early 2013. Of the voices they have revealed so far we have Karina Lyle, also known as Blue Rose, who will be handled by Kari Wahlgren, Laura Bailey handling Dragon Kid’s voicework, John Eric Bentley as Fire Emblem and Patrick Seitz as Sky High. Curiously enough, the two main characters, Barnaby Jr. and Kotetsu have still not been given English voice actors. Who would you like to see voice these two?

Rayman GBC is set to Hit the eShop..This Week

We don’t see a lot of Game Boy Color titles hit the 3DS’ virtual console, which is probably due to how many more original Game Boy games Nintendo have left to port. Either way though, Rayman is ready to make his Virtual Console debut in the form of his Game Boy Color offering. When will his holy Armlessness arrive you ask? Well, for both Europe and North America, the answer is this week.

Aside from Shantae (which is the best looking game on the classic handheld), Rayman was one of the most bold and colorful titles for the Game Boy Color, giving us who grew up with it a reason to upgrade from the green and black brick. Pricing has yet to be confirmed, but keep an eye out Thursday, as we will have all the juicy details on Rayman and Nintendo’s other eShop releases when everything is officially listed.

Nintendo Power outs Castlevania for the 3DS

Castlevania…on the 3DS. I have been waiting to hear of a Castlevania title for the 3DS for some time now, and Konami thankfully have delivered with an announcement in the latest Nintendo Power. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirrors of Fate will grace the 3DS in the future, and will take place after the events of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, placing the player in the role of Trevor Belmont.

There isn’t a ton of details, but we do now know that this title will lead up to a proper sequel that will hit the PS3, Xbox 360…and possibly the Wii U later down the line. Mirrors of Fate will also be a 2.5D game, which will be interesting to see as there is sure to be a mix of that old Castlevania flavoring with the combo stylings of Lords of Shadow.

So, who else is excited? This news is fantastic and is yet another reason to tune in to our coverage of Konami’s pre-E3 event on May 31st. Stay tuned!

Majesco announce new Cooking Mama Double Packs for the DS & Wii..

I’m sure there are plenty of you who have yet to try out all of Mama’s offerings during the past generation. The thing is, most Mama titles are solid and enjoyable, and Majesco are now preparing to share the love all over again with 3 new bundles.

First up we have a DS release by the name of Mama’s Combo Pack Volume 1. This bundle of course features the original Cooking Mama, as well as the unique yet still pleasing Camping Mama: Outdoor Adventures. Next is another DS release by the name of…yep, you guessed it, Mama’s Combo Pack Volume 2 which features Cooking Mama 2: Dinner With Friends and Crafting Mama.

Rounding out the value packs is a Wii release, which will feature Cooking Mama Cook Off and Cooking Mama World Kitchen on a disc titled Mama’s 2 Pack. These Wii titles work about like the Nintendo DS titles as far as concept goes, but utilize the motion controller to turn your WiiMote into a skillet, a knife, or a roller.

Not a bad lot at all. If all these two packs weren’t savory to you as of yet, you should also consider the value as each duo will hit shelves at just $29.99 each. I know I have said it before, but there is a reason why the Cooking Mama series has sold so well during the past five years, and these packages are well worth picking up if you happened to have missed out on any of Mama’s Kitchen (or other) adventures.
