F1 Race Stars announced by Codemasters Racing

Prepare to be taken over the top with Codemasters Racing’s latest announcement. F1 Race Stars transforms the technical, life-like world of Formula One we’re used to seeing from the publisher into an animated racing paradise.

Check out the announcement trailer for the game and tell us what you think in the comments. This first trailer alone showcases a gravity-defying hairpin turn that ascends into the sky, revealing that the developers’ intentions for this game are to rival other cartoon kart racers in something completely new to them.

What this game will have over others though is the Formula One license, with drivers Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel having been transformed into top-heavy, personality-packed heroes and F1 circuits converted into over-the-top tracks built for super-charged speed.

F1 Race Stars takes its place on the grid on Xbox 360, PC and PS3 this November.

It is worth noting that, despite an English build of the game being available for play at E3, these are the first English screenshots officially revealed by the company.

The images can be seen below, featuring a number of event scenes as well as battle footage which demonstrates some of the high damage output that the game is going to feature. Those curious about hearing our impressions of the game during E3 can find it here.

Assassin’s Creed 3 PC version delay confirmed

Anyone who happens to be a PC gamer likely knows that they will probably never be able to play a Ubisoft release at the same time as their console counterparts as the company’s track record for multi-platform release times are spottier than a savannah full of cheetahs.

Therefore I doubt many people are surprised to hear that Assassin’s Creed 3 on the PC will be delayed. Rather than release on October 30th like the other consoles, it was confirmed during a San Diego Comic-Con panel that the PC iteration would end up coming out sometime before Christmas. Well…. there is that at least…
