Lima Ky released the The Doodle Jump Ninja update to the App Store today. The update adds four new characters, powers ups, and in app purchases for upgrades in the in game store. The four new characters are the classic Ninja, the Sumo with the ability to stomp monsters off ledges, the Shadow that is invisible to monsters, and the Double Jumper. The two new power ups are the Resurrect Barrel that provides an extra life and the Head Start Cannon that provides a head start in the next new game. Doodle Jump is available hereon the App Store for $0.99. The game is compatible with the iPhone, iPod Touch, and the iPad.
Tim Cahill of the New York Red Bulls of Major League Soccer and soccer superstar Lionel Messi of FC Barcelona of La Liga and Argentina national team fame will be sharing the cover for the upcoming FIFA 13 game. “I’m thrilled to be teaming up the FIFA franchise again this year. Seeing myself in the New York Red Bull’s kit on the pack of FIFA 13 is fantastic and the perfect excuse to set up a few games with the rest of the team in NYC,” said Cahill.
FIFA 13 will be released in Australia on September 27th, 2012 and on September 28th, 2012 in New Zealand.
BulkyPix have teamed up with Steel Steed Studio to release a new Tower Defense game called Bug Invasion where you have to try and take on a whole legion of bugs as they try to storm your fort (or house, whatever). General Cockroach is leading a crack team as he tries to invade your house and take the treasured Sugar-bowl.
Your towers will be made of rubber ducks, robot toys and pepper machine guns, but don’t let appearances deceive you, because these will be more than enough to take on the hordes of bugs trying to take over your house and steal your food. You’ll have to utilize some prime strategies though in placing your defences and upgrading them, especially as the levels get higher and the bugs get craftier and more numerous.

Earlier today (August 23, 2012) marked the launch of the brand new Samsung store in Sydney. The store is located opposite to the Queen Victoria Building over on George Street at 450 Gearge Street, Sydney, 2000. To celebrate the recent opening the store is running prize giveaways for the next few days. Prizes include phones, TV’s, tablets PC’s and more.
Having heard from a phone dealer about the opening myself, I had decided to go and and take a look at the store. The store that I had come across was very technological in it’s feel, definitely somewhere that technology enthusiasts will feel at home. Whilst there, I thought I heard someone compare it to the Apple Store just down the road; however, I would have to disagree. The store is a bit smaller, and is set up more like a decent phone retailer.
Littered throughout the store are demo units of Samsung products, such as phones and tablets. However, even better than this, were the pleasant staff members rostered on for the opening. I found that even under the stress of dealing with hundreds of visitors on this day, they were still incredibly polite and seemed to know what they were doing and what it was that they were selling.
Overall this opening is probably one of the best I’ve attended and having the great organisation and a well planned event meant that things were going quite smoothly. I didn’t win a TV, but I did get this cool drink-bottle. Check out the Gallery Below for more pictures of the opening.

With September less than two weeks away, the air date for Doctor Who series 7 has been announced.
As previously reported, Doctor Who Series 7 episode one will showcase the comeback of the Daleks in Asylum of the Daleks , who haven’t been seen on the Doctor Who screens since the end of Series 5. In a series of twitter announcements, the Doctor Who twitter, BBC America Twitter, and ABC twitter have announced their respective air dates for this much awaited first episode of the Series 7.
In the UK, @bbcdoctorwho has announced that Asylum of the Daleks will air on Saturday, September 1 at 7:20 pm.
In America, @bbcamerica has announced that Asylum of the Daleks will air on Saturday, September 1 at 9 pm ET.
In Canada, SPACE will premier Asylum of the Daleks on Saturday, September 1 at 9pm ET.
In Australia, @abctv has announced that Asylum of the Daleks will air on September 8, Saturday at 7:30 pm on ABC1 with reruns on ABC2 on Tuesdays at 9 pm.
BBC America has also announcedthe air dates of the 2 subsequent episodes, Dinosaurs on a Spaceship and A Town Called Mercy, as a part of their “Supernatural Saturday” line up.
In conjunction with the premier of Series 7, the BBC is also releasing a series of web adventures titled “Pond Life” to premier online on August 28. It is a 5 part adventure with The Doctor, Amy Pond, and Rory Williams, and will be tiered throughout the week daily, counting down to the UK Series 7 premier.

WWE 13 is right around the corner and the most promising aspect revealed so far is without a doubt the Attitude Era Superstars that will be featured within the game. Today, the Attitude Era Mode was revealed as a thing, and will let players recreate famous story arcs of their favorite wrestlers of the past such as Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock.
WWE 13 will feature classic videos, custom arenas, and plenty of storylines for players to follow, and you can get a glimpse of Attitude Era Mode yourself in the new trailer below.
Are you a Linkin Park fan? Then you may also be a Medal of Honor Warfighter fan as well after seeing them team-up in an awesome new trailer. In this trailer, we have the band Linkin Park take us behind the scenes of their upcoming film clip for their song Castle of Glass.
The upcoming song will be set against some scenes from Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Danger Close Games have been working tightly with the band to ensure maximum quality and something that wont make the game look all that bad.

It’s yet again time for another Pokemon event, and this one is to get the legendary Keldeo. Beginning September 15th, players can download Keldeo at participating EB Games/Gamestop and Target locations to their copies of Pokemon Black & White. This particular Keldeo will also be able to be transferred into Pokémon Black Version 2 or Pokémon White Version 2, where it will be able to change into a new form and learn a new technique.

Because the Colt Pokémon cannot be found during normal gameplay, this distribution is the only way Pokémon players can receive it at this time. As a Fighting- and Water-type Pokémon, Keldeo excels at moves that are super effective against seven different Pokémon types: Normal, Fire, Ice, Ground, Rock, Dark, and Steel.

It’s always a sad day when a major magazine closes, but this time things are even more somber as the long running publication Nintendo Power will be ending in December. Nintendo announced the news earlier today via their Facebook page, and gave a brief statement.

Some could say that the quality of the magazine has been a bit on the decline in recent years, but we all know that the real reason for the end has to do with the digital revolution.
