The latest in portable gaming high end machines, the Razer Blade, is releasing in Australia on the 1st of November this year. The gaming laptop is to be sold at both JB Hi-Fi and at the online store run by Razer. On the laptop, CEO and Chief Gamer of Razer – Min-Liang Tan had this to say –
“We’ve been told (over and over) by our Aussie gaming fans that they feel that the Australian market lags behind in terms of the availability of new hardware and games,” said Tan, “and I think that it’s bloody time to set a new precedence by making Australia one of the first countries globally to have the latest Razer equipment, and there is no better way than to start that off with the new Razer Blade.”
What sets the Razer Blade apart from other devices is that it is an incredibly thin laptop that is also incredibly lightweight. On the form-factor, Tan continued with this –
“The all-new Razer Blade is kick-ass powerful; it has extreme levels of performance and yet amazingly thin,” Tan continued. “The Blade features the next generation of Intel® quad core processors combined with powerful NVIDIA® GTX class graphics chips and the fastest RAM available, resulting in a machine that is insanely powerful.”

Remember back when the first trailer for Dead Island appeared online? How it raised the hype level of the game to a fever pitch? Well it seems that Techland and Deep Silver are going to try and do the same thing with this CGI video for Dead Island: Riptide which can be seen below.
It has nearly all of the same elements as the past trailer, including a few small segments to pull on your heartstrings. As far as anything being revealed from this trailer, it doesn’t seem like anything was. Of course with Dead Island: Riptide not set to be released until 2013 there is still plenty of time left for information to be revealed.
It seems that Team Ninja will be revealing a new game at Tokyo Game Show this week. At the moment it is currently unknown what type of game it will be or if it will be another sequel or an original IP at this point. The little reveal came over Team Ninja’s Twitter feed where they stated that they want to repeat the same event as last year, when they announced Dead or Alive 5.
Any guesses as to what this new title could possibly be? With Dead or Alive 5 about to be released and a new Ninja Gaiden game already released earlier this year, the number of possible franchises has shrunk slightly. Could it possibly be another Metroid game? Stay tuned to find out.
