Why Fist of the North Star Condoms are the manliest way to have safe sex

Ever wanted to have safe sex but thought that condoms were relatively emasculating? Well with Fist of the North Star condoms, you can engage in intercourse with your lover with all the strength of Ken’s raging fist without that raging fist of a penis impregnating or catching any sexually transmitted diseases.

Of course this is yet another thing that only those geniuses in Japan would be able to think up and is naturally only available to those very geniuses. I wonder how many men have proudly shouted Kenshiro’s infamous catch phrase “You’re already dead” as their partner is climaxing? You can of course purchase these Fist of the North Star branded condoms online here.

What do you think of these manly condoms? Let us know in the comments section below.

Crimson Shroud Released to 3DS eShop

Level-5, the Japanese game company behind the Professor Layton series, has just released a completely different kind of game to the Nintendo 3DS eShop for North America and Europe.  How different?  So drastically, I’m regretting bringing up Layton at all.  Oh well, anyway their new game Crimson Shroud is actually based around the concepts of classic table top RPGs as evidenced by the die in the picture.

Crimson Shroud was created by Yasumi Matsuno a developer whose works include Final Fantasy Tactics, Vagrant Story, and Tactics Ogre, which looking at would have made more sense to bring up in the first place.  The game was already released in Japan as part of the Guild01 game pack, but now is available for North America and Europe like Liberation Maiden and Aero Porter from the same pack.

Players can check out the launch trailer for Crimson Shroud embedded below and those wanting to download the game to their Nintendo 3DS can find it for $7.99 (€7.99 / ₤7.19) on the eShop now.

Attack on Titan live-action delayed, director quits

Some unfortunate news has struck the upcoming live-action film adaptation of manga series Attack on Titan. After some internal disputes regarding the script for the film, director Tetsuya Nakashima has quit the project leaving the film’s future in limbo.

Toho the films production company has delayed the film to a vague release in 2014. This is surely disappointing to fans expecting to see the Attack on Titan live-action film in its original release of Fall 2013. Thankfully though there will be an anime adaptation beginning in Spring 2013.

What do you think of the live-action Attack on Titan film being delayed? Let us know in the comments section below.

Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 Gameplay Trailer

Tecmo Koei have released a new trailer for the face-punchingly awesome Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2. The new trailer for the Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage sequel focuses largely on the gameplay behind the beat-em-up game.

As you can imagine by the Fist of the North star title, the game features a lot of punching people in face very hard until they die because as Ken famously says, they are already dead.

Check out the Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 gameplay trailer below and let us know what you think of it in the comments section.

Sharpen your claws because we’re getting closer to The Wolverine!Twentieth Century Fox has revealed a bran new international poster for The Wolverine (featured right). While the rooftop angle and dark tone to some may seem slightly “The Dark Knight-ish”, upon inspection you’ll notice the building and the surroundings are of Japan where the film is set. From director James Mangold, The Wolverine will hit theaters on July 26, 2013.

Tales of Heart R gets Japanese release date

Tales fans have been waiting with anticipation for news of the franchise’s first venture onto Sony’s PlayStation Vita handheld console. We now have an official Japanese launch date for the upcoming title Tales of Hearts R for the Vita.

Namco Bandai revealed in the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump that Tales of Hearts R will hit Japanese shelves on March 27th, 2013 for the price of 6480 yen. Those who purchase the first batch of copies released (within the first 2 weeks of launch) will receive a special code to download the Tales of Hearts R spin-off game called Tales of Hearts R: Infinite Evolve which is described in Weekly Jump as the “infinite evolution 2D action RPG.” Perhaps this means it will play somewhat similarly to Tales of Phantasia?

The Japanese will also be treated to a special edition of the game which will feature a clock app and additional accessories for the game. The special edition will retail for 9980 yen.

It is still unknown whether Tales of Hearts R will make it to the West, but given the Tales franchise’s track record all signs point to yes. We will of course keep you updated as news of a localisation of this title come to light.

Laike’s PC Download Deals 13/12/2012

0

Just in time for the holidays! We’re not quite in Steam Winter Sale zone quite yet, but plenty of digital download sites are putting out some great deals ahead of time.

To kick things off, GoG.com has their 2012 DRM-Free Holiday sale going on from now until January 3rd, 2013. Each day brings three new DRM free games at a serious discount. Today has Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings at 75% off at $7.49. This great RPG seems to go on sale every Steam Winter Sale and comes with a GoG.com redeemable key, so there is no fear in holding off if you want a Steam key. FTL: Faster Than Light is at its lowest price yet at $4.99, its a great indie game and I highly recommend it. Finally, ARMA 2: Combined Operations is $14.99 or 50% off. You’ll need this if you plan on playing the fantastic mod Day Z while waiting for the stand alone release, plus ArmA 2 a cult favourite as a highly realistic FPS simulation. To leave out the word simulation in the description wouldn’t do it justice. There are a pile of other games on sale at GoG.com that will span the whole sale period, so check out all the deals here.

Steam is kicking off the weekend with a free weekend for Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad Game of the Year edition. The game and the Tripwire Interactive Bundle is on sale for 75% off the regular price here. The Crysis franchise is also on sale over the weekend at %75 off. The original Crysis redefined the benchmark for cutting edge visuals, and Crysis 2 carried on this tradition. Check it out here. Both of these are part of the weekend deal, so these prices will last until Monday 10am PST. The Grotesque Tactics 1&2 pack is also 75% off at Steam right now. This strategic RPG indie title spares no RPG stereotype in its satire, so check it out here.

Gamefly has Sleeping Dogs Digital Edition for $16.99 USD here. This great open world game captures the spirit of Hong Kong cop flicks perfectly, my only disappointment with the game is the lack of full Cantonese voice acting instead of the English with a few Cantonese sprinkled in. Check out our review here. The Gamefly version is a Steam redeemable key and contains the Triad Enforcer pack bundled with the game.

Finally, Greenman Gaming rounds out this batch with today’s daily deal. Paradox Interactive’s King Arthur II is their take on the Total War series is on sale for $2.49. Add the GMG25-CZPYL-D5MQ6 coupon and the game can be purchased for $1.87 USD. Check it out here.
