YAIBA LEAVES A TRAIL OF BLOOD AND UNCOVERS A STRANGE LOCATION IN LATEST SCREENS FROM YAIBA: NINJA GAIDEN Z

Limited Time Special Discounted Price for Steam® (PC) Version Announced

Team NINJA today released a new batch images which finds Yaiba healing himself after some serious slaying and then following a river of blood to the most unusual of locations. In preparation of the Steam® (PC) of YAIBA: NINJA GAIDEN Z on March 21, 2014 the game will be available for pre-order at a special discounted price of $49.99 for two weeks prior to launch, beginning March 7. The PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft versions will launch on March 18, 2014.

In YAIBA: NINJA GAIDEN Z, players will battle fierce zombies as Yaiba, a cyborg ninja who will do anything to get revenge and stay alive. Cleaved in two, he is brought back to life with cyber-technology. Brandishing his ninja sword and the mecha weapons in his cyber arm, he slaughters zombies with brutal, over-the-top abandon. Step into a stylized living comic book where stunning graphics depict a world gone mad. Hordes of undead can only be stopped by Yaiba’s willingness to use any means necessary to get the job done. Both possibilities fill Yaiba’s heart with twisted laughter in this upcoming collaboration between famed developers Team NINJA and comcept’s Keiji Inafune.

“Funtastic Limited” To Sell “Madman Entertainment”

madman-logo-new

Funtastic Limited“, the “current” owners of the Australian anime distributor “Madman Entertainment“, have only recently announced that they plan on selling the anime distributor on the grounds that, while Madman is worth quite a lot of money, it’s overall annual earnings over the past two years have dropped by an estimated $2 million AUD. The owning company were recently made two offers for the purchase of “Madman”, as they weighed up the two offers they realised that the distributor could be sold for double the amount of its market value, any businessman would know that it means this is a pretty good time to sell.

With its carrying value well above its market value and its decreased annual earnings “Funtastic Limited” doesn’t exactly see any good reason to hold on to “Madman” so they have appointed “Canterbury Partners” to sell the distributor. “Madman Entertainment” was originally acquired by “Funtastic Limited” back in 2006, they paid $34.5 million AUD. This was done so that “Funtastic” could easily acquire the media rights for the same properties that they had already gained toy right for. It was one hell of a smart move back then but is selling the distributor now going to be as lucrative in the long run? “Madman Entertainment” nor any of its representatives have yet to make a statement regarding the sell but as soon as they do you can bet we’ll have it here on the site so keep your eyes out for that if and when it comes.

Madman announce One Piece Film Z?

one-piece-film-z-banner-01
In what may very well be an accidental leak, Madman Entertainment announced that they will be releasing One Piece Film Z in English dub format in July 2014. They later retracted this announcement on their twitter leaving it up in the air as to whether or not the title has indeed been licensed. The original tweet has since been deleted, leaving behind only clean-up conversation with inquiring fans.

It is worth noting that Funimation, the rights holder for One Piece in America, has not announced any plans to release or dub One Piece Film Z at this time. This may change in the coming months, but as of time of posting no word has come in from Funimation regarding the film.

Stay tuned for further information on Madman potentially releasing One Piece Film Z as it comes to light. Let us know in the comments section below what you think of this.

Atelier-Ayesha-Plus-Debut- (45)

Moero Chronicle’s opening video is amazing

moero-chronicle-screenshot-01

As you already know, Compile Heart is working on another game that is very similar to Monster Monpiece in concept as players will be taking control of Io who is friends with a monster girl and will encounter many different monster girls throughout the game, though the gameplay is far different from the other game in at least a few ways.

As you can see in the amazing looking opening video for the game, Moero Chronicle, the game will still feature the rubbing feature which will have the girls in the game in various states of undress. Currently Moero Chronicle is set to be released on the PlayStation Vita in Japan on April 24th and Compile Heart International planning on releasing Monster Monpiece sometime soon in English.

The Northmen are Coming: War of the Vikings Confirms Invasion Mid-April

War-of-the-vikings-screenshot-01

Bury your silver, lock your gates, and set watches as the Norse Raiders in Paradox Interactive’s War of the Vikings are set to make their landing on the 15th of April. The publisher is well known for its previous medieval combat title War of the Roses as well as for the critically acclaimed grand strategy (one of my favourite genres) titles Crusader Kings and Europa Universalis.

War of the Vikings gives players the opportunity to get up close and personal in medieval combat as either the eponymous Vikings or as the brave Saxons. The combat is fast-paced and brutal but also surprisingly strategic in how engagements can be fought. Imagine a twitch shooter with chainmail, swords, and a lot of brains… on the end of your spiked mace.

War of the Vikings is available on PC Steam Early Access and can be looted here

Tribal Wars 2 Battle Tactics: Discipline makes all the difference

Tribal Wars 2 Battle Tactics: Discipline makes all the difference

New Video displays how to best defeat your foes

Hamburg, March 6, 2014. Today InnoGames released additional information on the battle tactics of its online strategy game Tribal Wars 2. Aside from the raw number of soldiers, successive waves of exactly timed attacks are crucial to victory – but players have to keep an eye on their troops’ discipline. A new video explains how the attacks work, and displays exclusive new footage from the game’s browser-, iOS- and Android-versions. The PvP-heavy game encourages its players to attack their neighbors and conquer their villages, upon which the defeated has to restart in the game world at another location with a new, basic settlement.

Key to overcoming other player’s defenses and conquering their village are the Noblemen and the discipline of the attackers’ troops. Noblemen can be recruited in the academy and have the unique ability to lower a village’s loyalty, when they attack – if it reaches zero, the village has been conquered. Since they are very expensive to recruit, it’s best to make sure an enemies’ village has no more defensive units stationed before sending a Nobleman in. Therefore, successive waves of exactly timed attacks pave the way to victory. The more discipline an army has, the less its time of arrival will derive from what a player planned. Putting too many different unit types in one attacking army reduces discipline significantly. For advanced players, Tribal Wars 2 will also offer the option to create several very specific attack presets.

In Tribal Wars 2, players find themselves as leader of a small village in the midst of a medieval world. Tasked with growing and expanding their empire within a war-torn landscape, they have to fight in order to survive. The MMO’s focus is real-time strategic battles with and against other players. Tribal Wars 2 will be released as cross-platform game for Android, iOS and all browsers. Therefore, players can set up one account for all platforms and play from whichever combination of devices they choose. Players can already pre-register for the game’s beta on www.tribalwars2.com.

Tribal Wars was developed as a hobby project in 2003 by the three founders of InnoGames, Hendrik Klindworth, Eike Klindworth and Michael Zillmer. Today, Tribal Wars has more than 50 million registered players and recently celebrated its tenth birthday with a big in-game event and a video saying thank you.

With about 120 million registered players, InnoGames is one of the world’s leading developers and providers of online games. Currently, the Hamburg-based company employs 300 professionals from 25 nations. Next to Tribal Wars, the Hamburg-based company has scored major successes with games such as Forge of Empires and Grepolis.
