You may not be aware, but Sailor Moon and Attack on Titan have quite a few things in common; both series are adapted from manga, they remain very popular with Japanese and Western audiences and now both anime will have the same people behind their opening themes.
Composer REVO and the band Linked Horizon (Attack on Titans’ Guren no Yumiya and Jiyū no Tsubasa) will be behind the composition for Sailor Moon Crystals’ OP which will be airing next month, the track will be titled Moon Pride and will be performed by Idol group Momorio Clover Z.
The announcement of their involvement in the series reboot was made earlier today on the official Sailor Moon twitter page, alongside this news was the release of an anime trailer which can be seen on the Sailor Moon Crystal website. Capcom has today released an early E3 trailer for their upcoming action/adventure “Monster Hunter” title; “Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate”. The 3DS game – which serves as an upgraded version to the original “Monster Hunter 4” – will place players in the shoes of a master hunter living in a world populated by dangerous beast, all of which pose somewhat of a threat to humanity.

ATLUS – the Japanese video game juggernaut famous for the “Shin Megami Tensei” series alongside games like “Catherine” and “Dragon’s Crown” – have today released their video game showcase lineup for the 2014 Electronic Entertainment Expo or, as it is mostly commonly known as; E3. The video game developer, publisher and distributor has a pretty amazing record when it comes to its E3 presence. With visually pleasing booth aesthetics and a constant flow of amazing game releases, it’s certainly hard to not give ATLUS the attention it deserves.
This year’s lineup is just as good if not better than what we’ve seen in the past and it is as follows:
Abyss Odyssey(PS3, 360, PC)
Citizens of Earth(PS4, Wii U, PC, 3DS, PS Vita)
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax(PS3, 360)
Persona 4: Dancing All Night(PS Vita)
Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth(3DS)
Unannounced Third-Party Title (PS4, PS Vita, PC)
The “Persona” franchise is, once again, acting as the “tent-pole” for ATLUS this year with half the list being populated by new games of the series. That’s not to say “Abyss Odyssey” and “Citizens Of Earth” isn’t going to get as much of the spotlight as the others though. ATLUS also revealed the design for this year’s badge inserts. Last year it was “Dragon’s Crown” who snagged it’s spot on the insert and the year before that it was “Catherine” but this year it seems as though ATLUS have decided to go “all out” with their “Persona” promotions because occupying both the front and the back of the insert is our friend Teddie.
Yes, the mascot of “Persona 4” will be plastered across this year’s insert with the front promoting “Persona 4: Dancing All Night” and the back promoting “Persona Q: Shadow Of The Labyrinth“. Six brilliant games and another to be announced at a later date. ATLUS has, once again, brought out the big guns to make as massive an impact as possible and, if previous years are anything to go by, that’s exactly what is going to happen.
Natsume, the publisher behind the legendary Harvest Moon series, have revealed their line-up of titles for E3 2014. The publisher’s line-up will be headlined by a brand new Harvest Moon title and a Wii U RPG called Alphadia Genesis.
The line-up for Natsume at E3 2014 is as follows:
Harvet Moon: The Lost Valley (3DS) – Winter 2014
Alphadia Genesis (Wii U) – TBD
A-Train: City Simulator (3DS) – TBD
End of Serenity (PSP digital) – TBD
Gabrielle’s Monstrous Duel (iOS) – TBD
Hometown Story: Pocket (iOS) – TBD
Ninja Strike (iOS) – TBD
Reel Fishing: Master’s Challenge (PS Vita) – TBD
Reel Fishing Pocket 2: Ocean (iOS) – TBD
Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley is exclusive to the 3DS and introduces fantastical elements to series with the inclusion of Harvest Sprites, mythical creatures who along with the Harvest Goddess require your assistance in restoring all 4 Seasons to the valley all the while protecting it against the King of the Underworld. This is of course a major departure from the series norm, but it may just be a positive new direction for this franchise.
As for their other headlining title, Alphadia Genesis, the game will be exclusive to the Wii U and boasts a deep story which is both rich with detail and compellingly complex. It follows the characters Fray and Colone as they journey through the world of Alphadia Genesis and uncover truths about both the world and themselves.

UPDATE:
Natsume have exclusively confirmed to Capsule Computers through their official Twitter account that all of their E3 2014 line-up will be released at some point in 2014.
@capsulecomputer Psst: Everything we're showing this year? Expect it to be out in 2014 🙂
Before I even think about going on with he actual article I have to ask just one question: Have you been living life the “Dandy” way? Yes, you have? Than this piece of pop culture gold will be just what you’re looking for and, seeing as you’re currently reading this, I believe you’re well aware.
A promotional video for the upcoming second season of the highly popular anime series “Space Dandy” has today been released through the show’s official website alongside some mondo cool information regarding the guest creators for the next season and talk of a manga series based upon the anime.
Beginning it’s Japanese broadcast on the 5th of July, this season of “Space Dandy” will continue the ridiculously amazing tale of the species hunter and his pals as he travels deeper into the universe, making new friends, fighting new foes and all the while causing trouble for Doctor Gel and his right hand man Bea.
The promo video is entirely in Japanese and unfortunately there’s yet to be a translated version of it so it may be a little hard to fully understand what is going on within but you’ll soon find out that nothing needs to be known about the next season to enjoy such a happiness-inducing, hype-building video.
It was also announced that a manga series called “Ore Space Dandy” is set to launch later on this month through “Manga Box”. Not much was actually said about the manga apart from that it is to be written by artist/writer Hiroki Katsumata and that it will be somewhat of its own story.
Below you’ll be able to see the entire list of guest creators alongside Japanese guest voices (though the characters they will be lending their talents to have not been announced) and in the featured video section you’ll be able to watch the “Space Dandy” season two promotional video. Enjoy and don’t live life any other way than the “Dandy” way, baby.
Game of Thrones fans have been emotionally destroyed by the tragic ending to the 8th episode of Season 4 of the TV series ‘The Mountain and The Viper’. The episode saw the epic confrontation between the heroic Oberyn Martell and the man who raped and murdered his sister The Mountain.
After that fight not exactly going the way fans of the series would have liked, they have pooled together all of their creative talents to fix the ending and boy oh boy is it fixed. You can check out the fixed ending to Oberyn vs Mountain in the video below.
It really goes to show that if the brutal tragedies inherent to Game of Thrones are able to be fixed by it, then there really in’t anything that couldn’t be made better by the inclusion of Tina Turner’s ‘Simply The Best’.

Happy days! It is finally here; an actual “Sailor Moon Crystal” anime trailer! Toei Animation, through the official “Sailor Moon Crystal” anime website, today begun streaming the first trailer for the soon to be released anime series reboot.
The original anime was released all the way back in 1992 to one hell of an incredible reception and, to this day, there are still fans of the old-school series running about. That’s why it is so shocking to think that it has taken Toei this long to bring the series back for one more run though, in saying that…a lot of people are just glad it is coming back at all.
The new series – confirmed as a reboot of the original – is set to begin its air in Japan on the 5th of July which means it’s just under a month away. Luckily for all Western audiences, Crunchyroll recently announced that they have acquired the streaming rights to the series and will begin its broadcast of the new anime the same day as Japan.
This means we wont be waiting in anticipation for any longer than we have to and that is simply fantastic! The “Sailor Moon Crystal” anime trailer can be seen below in our featured video section so head down there now to check it out, but don’t forget to hit up our comments section just under that to share your excitement.
It looks like that leak earlier this week turned out to be true as XSEED has announced that their E3 line-up this year will include Senran Kagura Bon Appétit, the cooking rhythm game spin-off from the Senran Kagura series. When first released in Japan Dekamori Senran Kagura, as it was called there, was released in three separate parts and it looks like XSEED is planning something similar.
I say this because when they listed the title, they are planning on giving it a digital only release, which was the same for Japan, sometime this Winter but they went on to say that there will be ten girls to choose from, with 22 total if you include additional DLC.
As you can see a few screenshots accompanied this announcement and XSEED themselves describe the game as such:
Revealed for the first time, this rhythm spin-off of the ninja ‘busty brawler’ series, Senran Kagura, features cooking battles rather than shinobi showdowns. The emphasis is on outrageous humor, delicious food and plenty of eye candy. Culinary warfare is carried out through an array of rhythm battles—tap the correct buttons in time with the beat to rack up combos and determine the size and quality of the resulting dish. With 10 girls to choose from (22 when including additional DLC), players are challenged to create the ultimate Super Dish and unlock a special feast for the eyes.
