WORLD OF TANKS UNLEASHES DOOM WITH NEW BATTLE PASS SPECIAL

0

RIP, TEAR and ROLL OUT!

September 29, 2026 – The gates of Hell have opened as the legendary DOOM™ universe arrives in a new Battle Pass Special: DOOM – BFG at the ready. This soul-tearing event runs from October 1 through October 11, inviting tankers to recruit iconic characters, collect DOOM-inspired customization rewards, and command the brutal FV225 Collector tank, which comes with the “FV225 Mk. BFG” 3D Style.

Available as commanders are five saga-spanning characters from the legendary DOOM franchise. Players will be able to embody the iconic, fierce protagonist in two incarnations: the retro spirit of the early ’90s in the stylized Doomguy, and the ruthless Doom Slayer. Also ready to rip are Samuel Hayden, Commander Thira, and The Betrayer. The Betrayer and Doom Slayer, both with zero perks, are among the Base Rewards. All characters feature voice performances by the original DOOM voice actors, while Doomguy additionally includes his signature grunts and groans taken from the classic game.

The Battle Pass Special: DOOM also introduces the FV225 Collector tank, complete with the DOOM-inspired “FV225 Mk. BFG” 3D Style. Drawing on the iconic double-barreled weapons of the DOOM universe, this fearsome tank brings a distinct Argent-powered look to the battlefield. Its twin guns function like those on researchable British double-barreled heavy tanks, delivering devastating firepower worthy of the Doom Slayer himself.

Tankers can collect a variety of DOOM-themed customization items, including two dedicated 3D attachment sets inspired by different eras of the franchise:

  • Doomguy’s Keepsakes – a tribute to classic DOOM featuring the DOOM Ornament, Chaingun, Classic HUD, Demon Disposal Kit, and Marine’s Stash.
  • Fight Like Hell – inspired by the modern DOOM trilogy and featuring the BFG9000, UAC Rocket Launcher, Cacodemon, Slayer’s Stash, and Slayer Suit.

The collection also features DOOM-inspired 2D Styles, such as “Praetor,” “Maykr,” and “The Dark Ages.”

And to make the experience complete, the Battle Pass Special: DOOM interface features iconic DOOM soundtrack, while Commanders can add the legendary “IDDQD” inscription to their favorite vehicles.

Players can also get themed bundles and complete special combat missions to unlock even more franchise-inspired rewards.

Fresh video gives an ice cold look into how Earth became a white hell

Oberhaching, Germany, September 28, 2026 – The countdown to the frozen apocalypse begins. In merely eleven days, on October 9, 2026, the highly anticipated story-based survival sandbox Permafrost will open its Early Access gates. Development studio SpaceRocket Games and German indie publisher Toplitz Productions are proud to announce the release of the Story Trailer, giving you insights on Earth’s downfall and the collapse of civilization as we know it.

However, there still is a glimmer of hope. On October 9, you can take over the main character Rook and step into the white hell to find your friend Icarus, to unravel the mystery of the moon shattering and to help humanity cling on to existence. About the game:

You are Rook, an engineer with the skills to rebuild, but little wilderness experience, drawn into this frozen, unforgiving world by a radio signal from a long-lost friend.

Experience a grounded, story-driven open-world survival set in a near-future Earth locked in endless winter after a series of catastrophes that culminated in the shattering of the moon. As a solo player or together with up to 3 friends, explore frozen cities and wilderness, survive brutal weather, navigate faction-controlled territories, hunt, scavenge, craft, and build a network of shelters to endure this post-apocalyptic world.

The Cold Is Your True Enemy!
The cold is alive and ever-present. Frostbite, storms, and creeping chill shape every journey, turning preparation, shelter, and timing into matters of survival.

A Frozen Open World To Explore!
Traverse a frozen open world where city ruins fade into wilderness. A tense, grounded survival experience shaped by silence and scarcity – no constant gunfire, no fantasy tropes. Just winter, isolation, and resolve.

Exploration-Gated Progression!
Progress is earned through exploration and adaptation. Restore abandoned shelters, repair broken machines, and reclaim fragile technology to push deeper into the frozen world.

Your Dog As Your Loyal Companion!
Your loyal dog companion stands with you when the cold turns everything else silent. Rescued from the ruins, your dog scouts ahead, warns of danger, carries supplies, and keeps you grounded when the silence gets to be too much.

Symbiotic 1-4 Player Co-op Survival!
The cold doesn’t care how many of you there are. Play solo or survive alongside up to 3 friends, building shelter networks, dividing responsibilities, and playing to each other’s strengths. Co-op doesn’t simplify the world; it just means you don’t face the cold alone.

Acclaimed roadtrip RPG ‘Keep Driving’ is out now on consoles!

0

Prepare to hit the highway! Keep Driving – a management RPG about life on the open road by Y/CJ/Y (Post Void) – is out now on Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S! That’s not all either, as it’s joined by an official mod support update on PC via Steam Workshop!

Originally launched last year on PC, Keep Driving on consoles includes all previously released Steam updates, such as expanded localization support and new content. Marking the launch with a new live action trailer, see this world brought to life like never before.

Keep Driving is an atmospheric management RPG about life on the open road. Pick up hitchhikers, work odd jobs, customise and repair your car, and map your route across the country. Use upgrades, skills and items to overcome challenges. And remember to take it easy. You’re young. You have time.

About The Game

It’s the early 2000’s, and you’ve just bought your first car. A long, slow summer lies ahead. Hearing about a festival on the other side of the country, you fire up your engine, plot a course on your map, and hit the road. How, if you get there at all, is up to you.

Keep Driving is a management RPG about slowly making your way through a procedurally generated pixel art open world. Pick up hitchhikers with their own personalities and stories; upgrade, customise and repair your car. Solve challenges on the road using a unique turn-based ‘combat’ system, using your own skills and whatever’s lying around in the glovebox to make it through.

At the end of your road trip, return back to the beginning and see what happens if you had followed a different path. There are multiple endings, with each taking about 1-4 hours to complete. Immerse yourself in the land through its highways, dirt tracks, and calm country roads. And remember to enjoy the ride. You’re young and don’t have much to lose.

Features:

  • A procedurally generated pixel art world to explore one road at a time.
  • A nostalgic early 2000s setting with an emphasis on the analogue.
  • Use turn-based ‘combat’ to solve situations (like getting stuck behind a tractor).
  • Pick up misfits, oddballs and lost souls as you go.
  • Featuring a killer soundtrack by local indie bands.
  • Multiple endings to unlock when you return to the road.
  • Inspired by Oregon Trail II, FTL, Two Lane Blacktop, Paris Texas, Jalopy, Gloom Haven, The 7th Continent, and the developer’s lives.

Since last year’s PC launch, Keep Driving has received major updates. This includes expanded localization support with nine additional languages, a new ending, gamepad support for Steam Deck, new road events, additional locations to explore, new content and more. All these updates are included at launch on Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series, while modding support is exclusive to PC.

About The Developer

Y/CJ/Y is an indie game studio based in Gothenburg, Sweden, consisting of Josef Martinovsky and Christopher Andreasson. Previous projects include The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human, Sea Salt and POST VOID. Following last year’s PC launch for Keep Driving, the acclaimed management RPG is out now on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series and PS5.

Set in the small mountain town of Sweet Elm, the game takes place inside the Alex Dieter Public Library and Center for Reflection, named for the billionaire who has transformed the town into a curated hub of technological innovation and small-town comfort.

He has also been killing unhoused people and stuffing them in the walls of the library.

And now, the library is extremely haunted.

With the help of the library’s former administrator, Phillip Shed, players must clean and organize the library over the course of one tense night, shelving hundreds of real books while unraveling a story of complicity, supernatural violence, and what it takes to bring a haunted place peace–one shelf at a time.

Something is Wrong With the Library Teaser Trailer:

“If you’ve ever been in a library at night, you’ll know that it feels unexpectedly warm and full of possibility–until you hear a single sound you don’t recognize, and realize you’re surrounded by towering shadows.” says studio head Xalavier Nelson Jr. “As a former librarian, I truly hope that, despite the objectively messed up things they’re going to witness, everyone who plays the game falls in love with their local library a little more.”

Key Features

0

September 28, 2026 | Attention, hackers. The static has cleared, Radiotext, a cyberpunk hacking RPG, is out now on Steam for £9.99 / $11.99 / €11.99, with an additional 30% launch discount for the first two weeks.

If Duskers, Hypnospace Outlaw, or S.P.L.I.T ever got their claws into you, this network’s for you. Plug in and uncover a cyber activist uprising against corporate overlords. Will you join them?

Wishlist and Play the Demo on Steam

Built Different: The Design Behind Radiotext
The developer previously worked on the tabletop RPG sourcebook Historica Arcanum: Serenade for the Damned, which won a Silver ENNIE Award for Best Adventure – Long Form, and Radiotext leverages some genuinely distinctive design choices:

  • Although it looks 3D, Radiotext actually runs in 2D, keeping the game’s size, RAM, and VRAM allocation to around 200MB, even at 4K with realistic environments.
  • It’s built with modding in mind, the demo and full game includes a modding guide, letting players quickly create their own stories, NPCs, and puzzles.
  • Similar to the asynchronous multiplayer notes in Dark Souls and Death Stranding, Radiotext features an in-game social media platform similar to X, where players can post and see other players’ messages mixed in with NPC messages.

About the Game
In a quiet alley next to a busy street, you are handed a USB stick by a woman you don’t know. If you want to see what’s inside, plug it in.

Radiotext is software built in the 90s, allowing people to communicate using radio waves. In this long-lost network, you are a newcomer, a stranger. By talking with the users inside, piece together what is going on in this old net and become part of the culture.

Establish links across forgotten channels. Meet lives left behind. Some are friendly. Some are broken. Some aren’t alive. Learn and adapt to your new environment.

Dive deep inside the long-lost communication network and explore the wideband. There are strange people to talk to and various mysteries to be solved inside your terminal. Hear static whispers. Decipher frequencies. Piece together the deeper story inside the noise.

They will ask who you side with. The answers you give ripple across the net. Trust is fragile. Some of them lie, some tell too much. And there might be a mole inside.

Key Features

  • Retro Interface: Old terminal aesthetic, typing mechanic, authentic sound effects
  • Unique Voices: A unique cast of characters, each with a story worth unraveling
  • Branching Paths: Choices ripple across conversations, choose your words wisely
  • Customizable UI: Colors, node placement, make the terminal your own
  • Hidden Choices: Not every option is in plain sight
  • Short & Sharp: A complete story in 3-4 hours
  • Multiple Endings: The network never plays out the same way twice
  • The Network Never Sleeps: The story ends. The network doesn’t, keep exploring, you don’t know what you’ll find

The new, members-only content introduces four brand-new areas to explore, a climactic battle to defend Havenhythe from the Sanguine threat, and a whimsical standalone Bangolin quest.

A haven for players who are questers, fighters, or skillers alike, today’s release combines RuneScape’s sense of epic world building with new activities to further enhance multiple skills, even after the climax of the current Havenhythe storyline.

‘Scapers looking to explore everything Havenhythe part II has to offer will need to meet a number of skill requirements. In addition to completing the Secrets of Amberfell quest to unlock the finale, Member players will also have to reach 51 Crafting, 55 Herblore, 65 Mining, and 60 Smithing. Bradley Hickey, Lead Game Designer, RuneScape said: “Havenhythe’s arrival on Gielinor earlier this year opened a new region for players of all levels to explore, while offering the first glimpse of a new threat: the Sanguine. Today’s update raises the stakes for veteran adventurers, introducing brand new skilling content, new training methods, powerful rewards and dangerous new beasts to slay, before bringing this chapter of the Havenhythe’s storyline to a dramatic close.”
