Guangzhou, China – September 28th, 2026 – Independent developer Amazing Game and publisher Hype Kid today announced that Nova Era: Atom, a sci-fi MMORPG blending space exploration, extraction gameplay, and elements of Chinese mythology, is now available to play as part of a Steam Playtest running through October 11th, 2026.
The Playtest gives players their first hands-on look at the game’s mysterious String Realm, a high-dimensional universe filled with strange galaxies, alien creatures, hidden outposts, and the remains of derelict megastructures. Players can explore star systems, gather resources, battle hostile factions, and push deeper into dangerous regions in search of valuable loot.
At the heart of the experience is the Flux-Core Vessel, a customizable spaceship that players can build and evolve using a five-part assembly system. Weapons, defenses, modifications, and propulsion components can be freely combined, while hot-swappable chips allow players to adapt their ship even during combat.
When entering Void Space, players must weigh the risks of pushing deeper for better rewards against the possibility of losing their hard-earned loot. Successfully extracting resources allows players to strengthen their progression and prepare for increasingly dangerous expeditions.

Nova Era: Atom is a third-person spaceship extraction shooter built on an MMO framework. Play solo or in squads of 3-5. Enter Void Space to explore, fight, and extract. Only the loot you bring back is yours. Recovered resources strengthen your foothold in the persistent world and prepare you for your next expedition.
