In many anime series a female fighter will generally have some of her clothing ripped up and the Senran Kagura series made a name for itself by using costume destruction as one of its selling points. Now it looks like Compile Heart is following that route with their upcoming PS4 RPG Omega Quintet.
Today in this week’s issue of Famitsu it has been revealed that while the girls are in combat against enemies their clothing can be ripped and destroyed after taking too much damage from an enemy. This isn’t Compile Heart’s first game to have clothing being ripped however, as it was revealed a few weeks ago that Hyperdimension Neptunia U will also have the same costume destruction feature.
This week’s issue of Famitsubrings with it some additional details for the upcoming PS Vita game, Danganronpa: Another Episode. First of all, unlike the first two games in the series that reserved them for punishments, this one will feature animated event scenes and these scenes will be handled by character designer and illustrator Rui Komatsuzaki.
Also, courtesy of Zaregoto, it has been revealed that there are two new types of Monokumas in Danganronpa: Another Episode. Shirokuma is a white version that is stationed at the resistance’s secret base and acts like an idol while Kurokuma is an all black version that specializes in machine gun talk and acts as an advisor for the murderous Warriors of Hope.

You may remember that back in April a new Fatal Frame game was announced for the Wii U. Well since that time we haven’t heard anything about the game, though a few deals concerning a live-action movie and a manga came out since then. Well it seems like Koei Tecmo will be holding a presentation this Thursday on NicoNico at 13:30 Japan time which is 12:30AM Eastern Time.
Currently it is unknown when Koei Tecmo is planning on releasing Fatal Frame for the Wii U, nor does the title have an actual name at the moment. Let’s just hope that unlike the most recent Fatal Frame game, that this one makes its way over to the West sometime in the future.
As you probably already know, Koei Tecmo is currently planning on releasing Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star in North America and Europe in September, but while gamers in the West are just now getting this original version of the game, gamers in Japan are currently waiting for the enhanced PlayStation Vita release called Ar nosurge Plus which is set to be released in Japan on October 2nd.
In an effort to help keep fans in Japan interested in the title, Gust has released Ar nosurge Plus’ opening video, which is actually the same as the original opening outside of the logo change. That might be for the best however as the music accompanying the opening is stunning.
