Nagi no Asukara to be Given English Dub by NIS America

If you liked what NIS America did with Toradora! then you’ll be happy to hear that they are once again producing an English dub for one of their licensed anime and this time around it is for the first release of said series. Today NIS America announced that they will be releasing P.A. Works’ Nagi no Asukara in North America under the name A Lull in the Sea and when it is released the series will feature both the original Japanese voice track as well as a newly recorded English dub.

The entire 26 episode series will be included in a single 3 Blu-ray disc Premium Edition that will be released on June 30th for $179.99 with the set including a two disc soundtrack, a 76 page art book, trailers, and clean opening and ending themes.

Etrian Odyssey Untold 2: The Fafnir Knight Coming to North America this Summer

As you may have heard, Atlus has been working on another remake of an older Etrian Odyssey title, this time Etrian Odyssey 2, and today Atlus USA announced that they are going to be bringing this remake over to North America this summer for $49.99 on the Nintendo 3DS where it will be available at retail and digitally.

Titled Etrian Odyssey Untold 2: The Fafnir Knight, puts players into the boots of the Fafnir Knight, the childhood friend of Princess Arianna of Caledonia, as well as Flavio, the hero of the Midgard Library, set out into the Yggdrasil Labyrinth. Etrian Odyssey Untold 2: The Fafnir Knight features a fixed party system as well as all of the upgrades that were made to the previous Untold title including difficulties ranging from Picnic to Expert.

The Crew Major March Patch Detailed

After a patch that failed to deliver in a lot of areas was released last month, The Crew is receiving a much more hopeful patch this March. The new patch includes some pretty big changes and entirely new content such as a new PvP mode called Blitz Brawl with 10 new missions, four new faction missions. Some appreciated changes include improved physics, improved sense of speed and a fix to the wheel spin issues that plague a lot of the games high performance cars. A heap of bugs are also promising to be fixed including some stats errors that have plagued the game since its launch last December. The patch should be available to all PC, PS4 and Xbox One players on March 18th. Full patch notes below.

Features:

  • New PVP mode available – Blitz Brawl
    • Blitz Brawl is a fast-paced game mode where players rush to scoring zones and fight to stay within them.
    • A scoring zone is activated by the first player who enters it and remains active for the next 10 seconds. During this time, any player inside the zone will score points. Bonus points are also awarded to the player who activated the zone.
    • After 10 seconds, the zone is deactivated and a new one will instantly appear, randomly chosen from a list. Stay alert!
    • In team games, the team’s total points are what count. Working together is crucial.
    • Blitz Brawl comes with 10 new missions – 2 for each region.
  • Faction vs Faction PVP mode is changed to Crew vs. Crew
    • This mode no longer takes in account the factions of the players.
  • New UI filter in lobbies
    • Added searching filters in the lobby by Car Spec and PvP game mode.
  • New UI on searching lobbies
    • A timer has been added to the UI (while searching for a lobby) that will depend on the network setup (NAT) type.

Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea Out Now

The latest entry in the Atelier series, and possibly the final game in the Dusk trilogy, is now available in North America and will soon be available in Europe. Koei Tecmo’s Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea can now be found in stores or through the PlayStation Network for $49.99 and you can check out the launch trailer below.

For those who haven’t been following the game, Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea follows the story of two girls, Shallistera and Shallote as they try to save their homeland and obtain their dream respectively. Featuring improvements based on feedback from the community that includes refined combat mechanics, unlimited play time, a fully rotatable camera for exploration, and a new quest system to take advantage of.

New English Subtitled God Eater 2: Rage Burst Trailer Released

In what has been something of a continuing tease for fans in the West, Bandai Namco Games Asia released another trailer for God Eater 2: Rage Burst with English subtitles despite there being no official English release of the game announced.

In this trailer we are given a look at God Eater 2: Rage Burst’s story as well as some of the new systems, Blood Arts, scenarios, and more that have been added to the game. Currently this title is already available in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita and hopefully we’ll be hearing a localization announcement sometime in the future.

Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters Now Available

If you’re looking for something a little different then you’ll be happy to hear that Aksys Games has now released Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters in North America where it can be purchased for the PlayStation Vita or PlayStation 3 at retail or digitally though the PlayStation Store. Those who wish to download the game can take advantage of a 20% discount on the game that will run until March 17th.

Yakuza 0 Chikai No Basho Soundtrack Available to Purchase Today

Fans of the Japanese brawler adventure series Yakuza, will no doubt be aware that the newest iteration of the series, Yakuza 0, will be released in Japanese markets tomorrow (12th March). To coincide with the software release, the Yakuza 0 soundtrack was released today, available to download ( at a price of 1,500 yen) from the iTunes, Amazon and Animelo Mix stores.

The soundtrack includes 88 tracks spanning an A and B side, the complete track listing can be seen here.

For the audio enthusiasts, a high resolution edition will be available to purchase on March 18th from Mora and E-Onkyo Music web stores. This edition will be priced slightly higher at 2,500 yen.

Yakuza 0 (trailers and information can be found here) will be released for the PlayStation 3 and 4 consoles in Japanese markets only, but we can expect a Western release if demand for localisation grows.

Second set of Ninja DLC Costumes Shown off in new Dead or Alive 5: Last Round

If you didn’t already have enough ninja looking characters, then you’ll be happy to hear that Koei Tecmo has released a new trailer for Dead or Alive 5: Last Round showing off the second round of Ninja DLC costumes that will be released on March 10th.

This is the second of two Ninja costume packs and this one features outfits for Nyotengu, Helena, Leifang, Jann Lee, Jacky (Virtua Fighter), Bayman, Zack, Raiden, Phase 4, and Ninja Gaiden’s Momoji. If you own the season pass for Dead or Alive 5: Last Round you will not need to buy these costumes separately as they are included in the pass.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number out Today

Dennaton Games and Devolver Digital have officially released Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number today. The title is the sequel to the popular ultraviolent indie shooter Hotline Miami. The title started out as just a DLC add-on for the original Hotline Miami, but it grew to be larger than even the original Hotline Miami.

Dennaton Games then decided to release Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number completely on it’s own. The story of this will complete the overarching storyline of the two titles. Hotline Miami 2 brings new levels, soundtracks, gameplay features, and ways to play.

D-Frag! English Dub Previewed by FUNimation

Back in January FUNimation started to reveal the English dub cast for D-Frag! and now that we are growing closer to the anime’s release date on April 28th the company has released their first English trailer for the title where we can catch a sample of the English dub.

In the video below, you’ll catch a brief summary of what D-Frag! is about, as it follows the wannabe delinquent Kazama as he is forced to join the Game Creation Club that is full of extremely strange girls after they throw a bag over his head and kidnap him. The full series is currently set to be released in a limited edition Blu-ray and DVD combo pack on April 28th for $69.98.
