The last time we saw anything about the Overlord series from Codemasters was back in 2009 when Overlord II was released and if you happen to be a fan of that series, then you may be happy about Codemasters‘ recent announcement. You see, they have announced a new Overlord title but it will be a digital exclusive that features four-play isometric action. The title is called Overlord: Fellowship of Evil and will be released sometime this year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Overlord: Fellowship of Evil puts players into the role of a Netherghul where they can team up with three friends, either online or locally, to try and bring evil back into the world. You can check out the announcement trailer for the title below.
With Fruitbat Factory set to release Eiyuu Senki: The World Conquest for the PlayStation 3 this summer in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand the company has chosen to release a new set of English screenshots as well as reveal the opening movie for the game, now featuring English subtitles.
The opening video can be found below while the game itself is a turn based tactical RPG that puts players in an alternate world where famous characters of history and legend, all of whom are now female, must fight to conquer the world. There are seventy total heroines to battle with, one hundred and twenty cities to conquer, and multiple endings.
It is no secret that Love Live! School Idol Project has turned into an extremely popular anime series here in North America as NIS America quickly sold through their initial premium edition release and have already sold through their second reprint. Even with this level of popularity, it is rather surprising however that NIS America has announced that they will be giving both the first and second seasons of Love Live! School Idol Project a full English dub.
The first season will be released with an English dub alongside the original Japanese voice track in a standard edition package sometime in the future while the second season will be given a full premium edition release but currently no release date has been set for either release. The company did confirm however that they will be doing a limited reprint in July for the premium edition of Love Live! School Idol Project Season 1. Those interested in trying to snag a copy of this popular series can check out our review.
Fans of the Love Live!series likely know that a movie is currently in the works and will debut in Japan on June 13th. Thankfully, the rest of the world will be able to have a chance to see the film not too long after Love Live! The School Idol Movie debuts in Japan as it has been announced that not only will the movie be played in a number of different countries including Hong Kong, Australia, and Singapore, it will also be debuting in the United States.
NIS America has announced that they will be handling the film’s showing in the US with the start date currently set for September 12, 2015. The film will be shown with the original Japanese voice track with English subtitles and currently the cities that the film will be shown in are Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, New York City, and Washington, D.C but it is worth noting that additional details about the theatrical release such as locations and pricing will be revealed at a later date.

Love Live! The School Idol Movie Commentary by Emi Nitta (Honoka Kosaka)
If you happen to like a little bit of gameplay to go along with your hentai then you might be interested in MangaGamer‘s latest announcement. The company has revealed that they will be selling Anagura’s adult RPG Ecchi Mery and The Perils of the Cosmic Shrine starting on May 8th for the PC.
Ecchi Mery and The Perils of the Cosmic Shrine was originally developed by the doujin circle Anagura and is a classic RPG following Mery and Mary, as they explore various dungeons. You see, Mery has needs to find “something of value” to complete her graduation from the Magic Academy and with the help of her maid Mary the two venture to the ruined shrine in Hinaya village.
Since this is of course an adult RPG, this means that there are thirty different sex scenes as well as multiple endings. Those who wish to pre-order Ecchi Mery and The Perils of the Cosmic Shrine can do so at MangaGamer’s website(18+) at the discounted price of $8.95 or pick the title up later at the full price of $9.95.
Back when Pokken Tournament was announced we released a mock roster and so far we have been pretty spot on with our prediction of Gardevoir and now Gengar. Gengar attacks with all parts of his body including his tongue and as you would expect, like to be tricky with vanishing techniques and scary facades. Gengar can Mega Evolve into Mega Gengar as his unique burst attack. A short trailer showing some Gengar gameplay is embedded below.
Along side Gengar a couple new stages were revealed including a big stadium and a cute little town. As far as we know Pokken Tournament is still exclusively set for Japanese arcades but we hope Nintendo will help the game find it’s way to Wii U as this Pokemon cross Tekken experiment has definitely caught our eye. J-Stars Victory VS+ was created with the intention of celebrating the 45th anniversary of Shonen JUMP Magazine and the 20th for V JUMP, two very popular Japanese Shonen Anime magazines where we often get a lot of our pre-release information from. This 3D fighting game takes characters from every popular Shonen anime and puts them together in one game so you can have Goku battle Naruto or Luffy challenge Toriko. I just noticed these characters all love eating mass amounts of food!
Bandai Namco have released new trailers for two of the bigger franchise names being represented in One Piece and Saint Seiya which you can check out below. The original title (without the +) was a Japanese exclusive and featured over 52 characters with 39 of them being playable. It is rumoured more characters may be playable in this version of the game. An arcade mode has also been confirmed. J-Stars Victory VS+ is due for release on PS4, PS3 and PSVita on the 26th June 2016.
The world is yours in Project Cars. Well not really of course but what Bandai Namco and developer Slightly Mad Studios are trying to tell us that this game is going to let you race your way. Following on from the release of their Career mode trailer and PC specs announcement, a new trailer has been released this time focusing on the multiplayer aspect of the game. There is no shortage of options here, with public, friends only and private lobbies all available for online play. There will also be a dedicated reputation system, so players who like to crash and bash on the course will start getting paired with other like minded players; same goes for more skilled racers. It should be noted that there is no local split screen play available. So looks like the world is yours if you have a good Internet connection at least. The console versions will support 16 players at once online while 64 bit PC’s can enjoy 32 player races. Along side the new trailer also came full confirmation of the release date for Australia and New Zealand. As we predicted earlier the game will release on the same day as in Europe on May 7th for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Japanese music label Nippon Columbia recently revealed their plans to release classic anime soundtracks on CD in their new Columbia Sound Treasure Series.
The original soundtrack for Nippon Animation’s 1977-1978 TV series Ore wa Teppei (I am Teppei) will be released on April 29 for 3500 yen, plus tax inside Japan. The background music, the opening theme song “Ore wa Teppei” and the ending theme song “Kani-san Kani-san” will be featured on two discs.
The original soundtrack for Toei Animation’s 1981 anime special Rupan tai Houmuzu (Lupin vs. Holmes) will be released on June 24 for 2800 yen, plus tax inside Japan.
The original soundtrack for the 1972 TV series Umi no Toriton (Triton of the Sea) will be released across two discs on July 29 for 3500 yen, plus tax inside Japan.
