When Nippon Ichi Software announced that they were working on The Witch and the Hundred Knight Revival, an enhanced version of the original game to be released on the PlayStation 4, the company announced that one of the bigger additions to the title would be the ability to play as the swamp witch Metallia.

Now they have released a new trailer showing off some of Metallia’s moves as she uses her magic and large blade to eliminate enemies. It is worth noting that Metallia appears to only be playable in a certain unlockable mode and likely will not be playable during the core story.

EA announced that the 12 Women’s National Teams are joining the FIFA 16 roster, just in time for FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 in Canada! Teams from Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Sweden, and the United States of America will be playable in Match Day, Offline Tournament, and Online Friendly Matches. One of the biggest film projects on Kickstarter is finally being released to the public. Kung Fury is a love letter to the golden age of action movies, the ’80s. The project started as a short film after David Sandberg quit his job to pursue film making. With the help of $650,000 in pledges from the popular crowdfunding platform, the movie was filmed over the last three years with plenty of assistance from friends and strangers around the world. Since then, the film has been shown at the famous Cannes Film Festival and had a music video starring David Hasselhoff.

Am I Evil?

Kung Fury is available to the public through YouTube (except in Sweden), SVT2/SVT play in Sweden, El Rey TV in the US, Steam, iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play.

Reality Check: Don’t Believe the Silent Hills on Xbox News You Hear

Silent-Hills-Concept-01

A lot of websites are covering the story that Microsoft is going to purchase the Silent Hills property to make it an Xbox One exclusive, citing someone at Rooster Teeth as a source. I think it is just time to bring a bit of perspective to this story as there is no way that will happen.

Not only is Konami trying to scrub the existence of Silent Hills, but they also were clear about a cancellation. Could we see a revival down the road? You bet. A Microsoft exclusive from a JAPANESE company that is kind of having a rocky path however is just not going to happen. We can always dream though…I suppose. Silent Hill is a lot like Mega Man to be honest. We want it, but the projects that were in the works are just too much of a mess now to be put back together.

Go Inside Out with Disney Infinity 3.0

So just yesterday we had some details about the upcoming Twilight of the Republic Play Set for Disney Infinity 3.0: Star Wars, but like many of you, I was eager to learn more about the Disney Originals that would be featured in the upcoming game. Well, not even 24 hours later, Disney have provided us with some killer new info regarding the Inside Out Play Set.

Based on the upcoming (in like two weeks I’m pretty sure) animated feature film from Disney and Pixar, the Inside Out Play Set takes place in Riley’s mind after she inadvertently catches a glimpse of a scary movie as she is falling asleep. Here, players will be able to place down the figures for one of her “emotions;” Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness and play through what looks to be an incredible platforming adventure.

According to Disney, there will be three different game modes that feature a twist on traditional platforming:

  • Clouds, which fade or emit lightning;
  • Musical platforms, which must be precisely timed in sync with the beat, and;
  • Gravity barriers, which flip the player and the world upside down.

I remember back when Disney Infinity 1.0 launched, and I commented in my review that I loved how the different Play Sets all seemed inspired by different games and genres. Well don’t get me wrong, I loved the 2.0 Play Sets, but I am absolutely thrilled to see the different genre games making a comeback in a big way this year.

Below we have a short trailer and a big of a gallery of images of the Play Set to check out, so feel free to do that and make sure you stay tuned to Capsule Computers because you never know when we will have the latest Disney Infinity news available.

New Need For Speed Leaked Details

Need-For-Speed-2015-promo-shot-003

With the announcement of the latest Need for Speed title came a lot more questions than answers. Now a quick minded Reddit user has managed to screenshot some leaked and quickly removed promotional material that was on the official Xbox site and the proposed features sound great. A story mode will see “multiple, overlapping stories” that allows you to “carve your own path”, rich authentic customisation and five ways to play with Speed, Style, Build, Crew and Outlaw being those options. The game will be set in Ventura Bay, that will have a West Coast Urban theme featuring downtown, a harbour and canyon regions. It is said this world will be nocturnal, but we are not sure if that means their won’t be a day/night cycle.

A release date was also leaked in the picture for November 3rd but we imagine this could easily change. While EA and development team Ghost have been reluctant to say this is a follow up to Need for Speed Underground it definitely seems at the least to be a spiritual successor and I’m sure plenty of Need for Speed fans are ok with that as long as they get their neon customisation. More details about Need for Speed will be official unveiled at EA’s E3 2015 press conference. You can check out the full leaked image below.
