We’ve been hearing a lot about Persona 4: Dancing All Night from the Japanese branch of Atlus but very little about the status of the title in the West other than that it was coming sometime this year. Well today Atlus USA announced that they will be releasing Persona 4: Dancing All Night in North America this fall and when it is released they will be selling a standard edition for $49.99 and a limited “Disco Fever” edition priced at $79.99.

How do you make a fistfight taking place on top of an active volcano even more exciting? By tossing a woman who controls a tiger into the middle of things. Bandai Namco has announced that they will be adding Kazumi Mishima as a playable character in Tekken 7 and she will fight alongside a tiger who will appear in battle when called using certain techniques.

In the trailer below you can see Kazumi utilize moves similar to her other family members to take on Heihachi with the help of a tiger she commands. Kazumi Mishima will be added to the arcade version, only available in Japan, on June 2nd.

Late last year Blanc won a popularity poll held by Compile Heart and earlier this year it was announced that she would be getting her own spin-off game for the PS Vita called Extreme Dimension Tag Blanc + Neptune Vs. Zombie Army. While we have learned that the game will follow Blanc and the other main characters as they try to prevent a school from being shut down by trying to film a zombie movie on the premises before things go terribly wrong, we have seen very little gameplay footage.

That is until today when Compile Heart released a trailer showing that Extreme Dimension Tag Blanc + Neptune Vs. Zombie Army appears to play similar to Hyperdimension Neptunia U but with co-op modes and various other tweaks.

When Nippon Ichi Software announced that they were working on The Witch and the Hundred Knight Revival, an enhanced version of the original game to be released on the PlayStation 4, the company announced that one of the bigger additions to the title would be the ability to play as the swamp witch Metallia.

Now they have released a new trailer showing off some of Metallia’s moves as she uses her magic and large blade to eliminate enemies. It is worth noting that Metallia appears to only be playable in a certain unlockable mode and likely will not be playable during the core story.

One of the biggest film projects on Kickstarter is finally being released to the public. Kung Fury is a love letter to the golden age of action movies, the ’80s. The project started as a short film after David Sandberg quit his job to pursue film making. With the help of $650,000 in pledges from the popular crowdfunding platform, the movie was filmed over the last three years with plenty of assistance from friends and strangers around the world. Since then, the film has been shown at the famous Cannes Film Festival and had a music video starring David Hasselhoff.

Am I Evil?

Kung Fury is available to the public through YouTube (except in Sweden), SVT2/SVT play in Sweden, El Rey TV in the US, Steam, iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play.

Reality Check: Don’t Believe the Silent Hills on Xbox News You Hear

Silent-Hills-Concept-01

A lot of websites are covering the story that Microsoft is going to purchase the Silent Hills property to make it an Xbox One exclusive, citing someone at Rooster Teeth as a source. I think it is just time to bring a bit of perspective to this story as there is no way that will happen.

Not only is Konami trying to scrub the existence of Silent Hills, but they also were clear about a cancellation. Could we see a revival down the road? You bet. A Microsoft exclusive from a JAPANESE company that is kind of having a rocky path however is just not going to happen. We can always dream though…I suppose. Silent Hill is a lot like Mega Man to be honest. We want it, but the projects that were in the works are just too much of a mess now to be put back together.
