Touhou Genso Rondo Trailer Focuses on Yukari Yakumo

Earlier this month NIS America announced that they would be adding Flandre and Yukari Yakumo as playable characters in Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet and now the company has released a video focusing on showing off what Yukari will be capable of in the game.

For those who aren’t familiar with the franchise, Yukari is one of the oldest but also one of the most powerful youkai of the group and has the ability to manipulate boundaries and prefers to manipulate events from afar rather than through direct combat, though as you’ll see in the video below she will be taking a much more hands on approach when Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet is released in North America on September 6th and Europe on September 9th.

The Princess is Money-Hungry Debut Trailer Released

Recently Nippon Ichi Software revealed that they were working on a unique little action RPG by the name of The Princess is Money-Hungry where money is power and everything from special moves to dangerous boss characters can be bought out if enough cash is available and now the company has released the first trailer showing off what fans can expect from the game.

You can check out the video below where various systems in the game are shown off as the princess who is out for revenge encounters various enemies. Currently The Princess is Money-Hungry is set to be released in Japan for the PS Vita on November 24th.

MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death’s Second Story Trailer Revealed

The second of three planned story trailers for MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death has been released by Idea Factory International and just like the first one this one plays itself off as fairly vague by stating that beyond the depths of these four ominous towers there lie mysterious entities but questions whether Estra’s voice can manage to reach them and harness their power.

You can check out the trailer below and keep an eye out for MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death when it is released for the PS Vita digitally and physically in North America on September 13th and September 16th in Europe.

World of Final Fantasy Screenshots Show off Environments and More

Square Enix has released a new fairly sizable batch of screenshots for World of Final Fantasy focusing on showing off the various environments, labyrinthine dungeons, legendary characters and various monsters that players will encounter in the world of Grymoire. The images, found below, show the heroes Reynn and Lann as they encounter the Quacho Queen, who dwells in the wondrous Sunken Temple, and Ultros, the popular octopus-like Mirage first featured in Final Fantasy VI.

World of Final Fantasy is currently set to be released in North America on October 25th and Europe on October 28th for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita and a limited edition is currently available for pre-order.

Tokyo Ghoul: Dark War Gameplay Details Released

GameSamba and FUNimation have revealed some of the first details for their upcoming mobile game based off of the Tokyo Ghoul series called Tokyo Ghoul: Dark War. The title will feature various multiplayer modes as well a a single player storyline that will allow players to go through an episodic journey where they’ll face an onslaught of human or ghoul foes in real-time action-RPG combat.

Players will be able to control a party of characters, and unleash powerful special skills. As for the multiplayer modes, there will be traditional PvP arena fights as well as matches featuring 1v1, 3v3, or 5v5 teams battling for supremacy. Currently Tokyo Ghoul: Dark War is set to be released sometime this winter for both Android and iOS devices.

Criminal Girls 2’s Latest Character Trailer Introduces Yurine

Continuing with their series of character introduction videos NIS America has released a brand new short trailer for Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors that focuses on introducing the calm and nurturing Yurine. She is described as being a woman who wants to be your big sister at times and at other times wants to be the “teacher’s pet.”

Yurine might want what the player wants but in combat while she can deal devastating damage she is also susceptible to high damaging attacks, making her something of a glass cannon. You can check out the introduction video below and keep an eye out for Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors when it is released on September 20th in North America for the PS Vita and in Europe on September 23rd.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II Arrives in Europe in November

NIS America, who will be publishing The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II in Europe, has announced that the company is planning on releasing the RPG in that country on November 11th for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita where it will be available both physically and digitally.

This is a little over two months after the planned release of the game in North America from XSEED Games so those looking forward to seeing how things end up after the major cliffhanger that was the end of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel will need to wait a bit longer in that region.

Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice Animated Prologue Released in English

Capcom has released an English version of the eight minute animated prologue that was created as a way to introduce fans to the storyline in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice. This video, found below, focuses on introducing the Kingdom of Khura’in that Phoenix Wright will be traveling to and provides fans with a glimpse at how each of the characters will sound with the English voice track.

Currently Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice is set to be released in North America and Europe on September 8th for the 3DS where it will be available digitally for $29.99 but for now you can currently download the demo from the 3DS eShop.

Berserk Game Adds Wyald with New Screenshots

Koei Tecmo has released some new details for their upcoming Berserk video game and with it comes some info about a new playable character as well as some bosses that players will have to face off against. The new playable character is named Wyald and he is the leader of the Black Dog Knights, a group of criminals considered the shame of the army, who overpower their enemies with sheer force and are chasing after the Band of the Hawk at the order of the king.

As for the boss characters, so far it has been revealed that Boscogn, Adon, Slita, Wylad, Femto, Snake Baron, and Grunbeld will be appearing in the game and you can check out screenshots of them below.

Utawarerumono: The Two Hakuoros Opening Video Released

With Utawarerumono: The Two Hakuoros set to be released by Aquaplus in Japan a little under a month now the company has chosen to release the full opening video for the game which is set to the theme song of “Hikari” by Suara who provided the theme song for the previous game. In the video, that you can check out below, a number of the new playable characters are featured as well as a large number of returning characters and those who are familiar with the first entry in the series will likely catch a number of other glimpses of familiar faces.

Currently Utawarerumono: The Two Hakuoros is set to be released in Japan on September 21st for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita.
