CALL OF DUTY: WWII ‘SHADOW WAR’ DLC PACK AVAILABLE TODAY

Fourth Epic DLC Pack Features Three New Multiplayer Maps, All-New War Mode Mission ‘Operation Arcane’ and Final Chapter in Nazi Zombies ‘Frozen Dawn’

Call of Duty: WWII Season Pass Owners Can Invite Their Friends to Party Up on Shadow War Multiplayer Maps and Join in on the Action for Free For a Limited Time

August 29, 2018—Prepare for epic covert missions across Europe and North Africa starting today in Call of Duty®: WWII – Shadow War, available now, first on PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system. In the fourth DLC Pack for Call of Duty: WWII, players will encounter three new multiplayer maps: Airship, Excavation and Chancellery, uncover the secrets of a classified Nazi weapons facility in an all-new War Mode mission: Operation Arcane, and experience the chilling, final chapter of Nazi Zombies: Frozen Dawn.

For the first time in a Call of Duty Game, players who own the Call of Duty: WWII Season Pass can invite their friends to join them on all three new Call of Duty®: WWII – Shadow War multiplayer maps, along with the War Mode mission for free. From now until October 29 in ANZ, Season Pass owners can party up with those who don’t own the content, and play alongside each other on Airship, Chancellery, Excavation and Operation Arcane.

  • Airship – Fight atop a secret Airship base in the Alps, home to a docked zeppelin high above, as well as a treacherous cliff far below. Secure and hold the Airship to gain a powerful vantage point from which to control the action.
  • Chancellery – Oust enemy forces from their French stronghold within the Chancellery.  Maintain control from courtyard vantage points, while engaging in chaotic firefights through the flanking pathways in this night-time incursion behind enemy lines.
  • Excavation – Battle in and around an enemy mine in Algeria. Fight up close in a devastated tank graveyard, or outsmart foes by attacking from one of many heightened rock outcroppings.
  • Operation Arcane – It’s no secret that Nazi Germany had many clandestine weapons and technology programs during World War II.  In this War Mode Mission, players are tasked with infiltrating a hidden facility deep in the forested Austrian mountains to steal enemy secrets and schematics, and finally destroy any and all secret technology that remains.
  • The Frozen Dawn – In the final chapter of Nazi Zombies, Thule has awakened, and malevolent powers stir beneath the ice. The Sword of Barbarossa was the key to something much larger – and much darker – than anyone had imagined. Now the weary heroes have been brought to the very Throne of Death… and Marie, Jefferson, Olivia, and Drostan are all that stand between humanity and utter destruction.

Call of Duty: WWII – Shadow War DLC pack is available now, first on PlayStation®4 system for a suggested retail price of $20.45 AUD. Shadow War DLC Pack is also included in Call of Duty: WWII DLC Season Pass*, featuring all four DLC Packs, as part of the discounted bundle offered at a suggested retail price of $64.95 AUD – a discount of $16.85 AUD off the individual purchase of all four DLC Map Packs (discount based on four individual DLC Map Packs at a suggested retail price of $20.45 AUD each). Season Pass content is available first on PlayStation®4 system.

*Party Up feature access will end on or before Oct. 29, 2018 in ANZ and may be discontinued in Activision’s discretion.  Season Pass owner must be Party leader to enable feature.

*Season Pass purchasers receive 2018 Call of Duty: WWII Season Pass content. Season Pass content is not final, is subject to change, and may not include all downloadable content available for the game. Season Pass content may not be available in all countries, and pricing and release dates may vary by platform. Season Pass content should be downloaded from the in-game store only; do not purchase separately, or you will be charged again. Season Pass content may be sold separately.

FAR CRY® 5: DEAD LIVING ZOMBIES NOW AVAILABLE

FAR CRY® 5: DEAD LIVING ZOMBIES NOW AVAILABLE

Sydney, Australia August 29, 2018 — Today, Ubisoft announced that Far Cry® 5: Dead Living Zombies, the third post-launch adventure, is available now on PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X and Windows PC.

Far Cry 5: Dead Living Zombies pairs players with Guy Marvel – the D-tier film director we first met in Far Cry 5 – as he pitches his vision for an epic zombie saga. In maps built from the powerful Far Cry Arcade editor, players will explore seven different film scenarios as they face hordes of the undead across rooftops, farmlands, military bases and more. After completing each map, players can unlock Score Attack to achieve three-star ratings, which will unlock weapons and gear to bring back to Hope County.

Additionally, a new title update available now introduces new features to all Far Cry 5 players, including:

  • New Game Plus: The highly anticipated New Game + allows players to restart the Far Cry 5 story after completing the main campaign, keeping their character progression. New Game + contains new elements such as upgradable perks in the main campaign and the higher-difficulty Infamous mode, in which AI have more health, take more damage and react more quickly to a player’s presence.
  • Destructible Objects: Destructible Objects are generic building blocks that shatter into small cubes when shot or otherwise creatively destroyed. Objects range from geometric shapes to building elements – and players can combine different shapes and textures for nearly endless destructible fun.
  • Scripting Tool: The Scripting Tool allows mapmakers to trigger different actions in their maps based on player behaviour. For example, when players perform specific actions – like killing enemies, reaching a location or looking at specific objects – mapmakers can then change the time of day, teleport the player, add slow motion, change the music and add or remove enemies or gameplay objects. These tools open up a new realm of possibilities, allowing mapmakers to add an entirely new layer of visual storytelling to their creations.

World of Tanks: Mercenaries Celebrates 17 Million Players with Explosive New Content in the Latest Update

World of Tanks: Mercenaries Celebrates 17 Million Players with Explosive New Content in the Latest Update

Get new Mercenary vehicles, maps, changes, and more in Update 4.6

August 28, 2018 — As World of Tanks: Mercenaries celebrates reaching a landmark 17 million registered players, the latest major update will be rolling out globally on August 28 on PlayStation®4 and Xbox. Update 4.6 introduces new content features, including everything from a fresh perspective to play Artillery vehicles to new Mercenary vehicles, Crews and Maps, and a fulfilment of popular requests from our community.

The first major feature is a new Artillery camera: the ‘Trajectory’ view. Available along with the existing birds-eye Artillery view, this view brings the camera lower to the ground and rotates to follow the shell’s trajectory, with the tank as the central pivoting point. As well as giving more variety and options to playstyles for Artillery, this new view is immersive and will bring players closer to the action than ever before.

When developing new features for World of Tanks: Mercenaries, Wargaming West keeps its ear to the ground and prioritizes requests from the community. Following a high level of demand from players, health bar numbers have been added to enemy and ally vehicles! When switched on, this feature gives players an indication of the state of their own team, or how much health still needs to be knocked off opponents.

If you’re looking for new trials, more challengers are approaching! With Update 4.5, we introduced the Mercenaries Tech Tree for the first time. These powerful new vehicles, captained by fierce Mercenary Crews, can be earned for free through ‘Contract’ missions. Update 4.6 is expanding this roster of rogues, and there are several vehicles available to earn right away. Here’s a little taster of some of the Merc vehicles and Crews heading your way in the very near future.

  • Thresher: a well-armoured Light Tank with an aggressive weapon. It’s operated by Dark Fox, a New Zealander who served under British command during World War II before going rogue and seeking revenge against Axis forces.
  • Long Reach: a Heavy Tank that brings together the best of British, German, and Soviet engineering. It’s captained by Brutal Beast, a Swiss ex-spy who travels across Europe, liberating towns and their people from German rule.
  • Sharpshooter: this Medium Tank combines machinery from Axis and Allied tanks, making for a nimble vehicle that packs a reliable shot. It’s under the command of Red Sentinel, an Italian soldier driven mad by the heat as he held his position against waves of Allied soldiers in a small Tunisian town.

And it’s not just the Mercenary Tech Tree that’s expanding! Players can look forward to working towards brand-new Tier X vehicles in the Chinese and British Tech Trees. The WZ-111 5A is a fearsome new Chinese Heavy Tank that has excellent armor and speed – enemy tanks will struggle to get the jump on it! It’s joined by the British Heavy Tank, the Super Conqueror. With all-round thick spaced armor giving it top protection from every angle, its great handling also makes it a menace to slower enemies.

Two new maps are also set to shake up Multiplayer battles! Caen – 1944 is inspired by a real town in north-western France, liberated from German control during the Battle of Normandy. It was originally used as the basis for the epic finale of the War Stories campaign Operation Sealion, where the story’s heroes finally drove the amphibious German invasion out of wartime Britain. With undulating hills, a large central ridge and a vast beach to the east, this map is primed for explosive showdowns. The peaceful Pearl River will also be joining the rotation. An idyllic valley bathed in golden sunlight, this map features rugged terrain that allows players to engage in ambushes and flanking manoeuvres. Stalk along the riverbed that cuts through the map to launch a direct attack on the enemy base!

World of Tanks: Mercenaries is a social game at heart, with teamwork and cohesive action providing the key to victory. To improve the quality of matches, teaming up with friends in Platoons with up to five participants will now be easier and fairer. Players are only able to select tanks from the same tier as their Platoon leader, with a maximum of three Artillery vehicle allowed per Platoon for a fairer matchmaking. The new Persistent Platoons also mean that friends and recent players you’ve fought alongside in battle will easily be able to join you or others by joining games through player profiles.

There are even more new features and additions to explore in Update 4.6, so update World of Tanks: Mercenaries to the latest version on August 28 to check out all the new content!

The video clocks in at a hefty 48 minutes. Originally released as a media-only video, the developers have released the video along with a message from Game Director Adam Badowski to remind viewers that the footage is very much work in progress. The full message is as follows:

What we’re releasing today was recorded from a game deep in development. Since many of the assets and mechanics in the current version of Cyberpunk 2077 are most likely to be modified, we initially decided to show this gameplay only to media. Elements like gunplay (both in terms of visuals and how RPG stats influence it), netrunning, car physics, or the game’s UI — everything’s pretty much still in the playtest phase and we felt uneasy about publicly committing to any particular design. Animation glitches, work-in-progress character facial expressions, early versions of locations — all this made us hesitant to release what you’re about to see. However, we are also well aware that many of you want to see what the media saw. Although this is probably not the same game you’ll see on your screen when we launch, we still decided to share this 48-minute video with you. This is how Cyberpunk 2077 looks today. Let us know what you think!”

Cyberpunk 2077 is based on the classic pen and paper RPG series Cyberpunk 2020. Set in Night City, players will explore the dirty underbelly of the most populated city on Earth. As V, players will interact with a rich and vibrant world full of cybernetically enhanced humans looking to get an advantage over the competition. While no release date has been established, Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows.

PAX West Hands on Appointments Available

MADRID — August 27th, 2018 — Publisher Sindiecate Arts and developer Brainwash Gang invite you to experience an extraordinary simulation sandbox game examining occidental culture and its different social classes: Damnview: Built From Nothing. Coming in 2019 to PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, Damnview: Built From Nothing is told through the exploration of a decadent urban sprawl, all while working precarious jobs where you will either be absorbed into the system or cast out of society’s machine.

Damnview: Built From Nothing is a game about despair, the hostility of capitalism and the need for seeking a better future. The city takes on the role of an enormous monster to defeat only with your life and hard work – or maybe also with your fists and dirty money. How far you’re willing to go to survive and succeed in a place like this is in your hands and sometimes being smarter, meaner or just not giving a damn is the pathway to success.

Featuring a rich city teeming with different societal classes and cultures, players will discover the city through its people. Each character has its own story and purposes in life. The decisions you make in your relationships will help to determine how well you fare as you do what you need to survive.

Take on a variety of occupations: drive a cab; work in a video store or a laundromat; smuggle all sorts of goods or sell drugs in the alleyways. Through the money you earn you’ll manage your income, build your home from nothing and try to maintain your lifestyle. However, no matter how hard you work, society may have other plans for you.

Damnview: Built From Nothing arrives in 2019, but attending media are invited to book appointments to get hands on at PAX West Friday, August 31st and Saturday, September 1st.
