NINTENDO LABO: VEHICLE KIT VIDEO REVEALS NEW FEATURES AHEAD OF 14th SEPTEMBER LAUNCH

Start your engines… Only two weeks until the launch of Nintendo Labo: Vehicle Kit

3rd September, 2018 – To celebrate the Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 03: Vehicle Kit which launches on 14th September for Nintendo Switch*, Nintendo has released an overview video that dives, drives and flies into more detail about this new Nintendo Labo kit. You can watch the Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 03: Vehicle Kit overview video at the official Nintendo Australia YouTube channel.

Similar to other Nintendo Labo kits, there are several fun creations for fans to build – including a Car, Submarine and Plane – along with the following features unveiled in the video:

  • A closer look at Adventure mode, one of the included games, in which players explore a mysterious world featuring pyramids, an archaeological dig site, snowy mountains and much more. Players use the Toy-Con Key to seamlessly swap between a car, plane and submarine to explore the deepest depths and highest heights of this world. Interact with a variety of intriguing characters as players explore and complete a variety of missions solo or co-op with a friend.
    • Each vehicle has different controls and special moves – players launch a grappling hook from the submarine, do a barrel roll and shoot missiles with the plane, perform wheelies and deploy saw blades or bombs with the car, and more.
  • Different included games offer a variety of fun experiences. In Rally, players pass through checkpoints while racing to the goal; Circuit is a racing game with a twist as players can launch punches at opponents; Slot Car is a classic game that is controlled using only the Toy-Con Pedal; and in Battle, racers can participate in one-on-one automotive combat with other players**.
  • Paint Studio uses the Toy-Con Spray Can to let players personalise their in-game vehicles as well as the driver, gently shaking it to feel and hear the “ball” inside as they mix up the paint.
  • Custom Controls, a new feature for Nintendo Labo exclusive to Vehicle Kit, lets players make their own controllers for the game with common household items. Want to ride a broom to steer the plane? How about drawing button controls on a customised screen protector for when playing in handheld mode? It’s a great way to get started with building unique Toy-Con creations.
  • With the Toy-Con Car and Pedal, and after downloading an update after launch, players will be able to race against their friends in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Nintendo Switch***. Take a first look at gameplay in the Playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with the Nintendo Labo: Vehicle Kit at gamescom 2018 video. It’s also possible for players to play using the Toy-Con Motorbike from the Nintendo Labo: Variety Kit.

UBISOFT ANNOUNCES FOR HONOR MARCHING FIRE  PC OPEN TEST FROM SEPTEMBER 6 TO 10

Experience All New Breach Mode With All 22 Heroes Including the 4 Wu Lin Heroes

Sydney, AUSTRALIA — August 30, 2018 — Ubisoft has announced that the For Honor: Marching Fire PC Open Test will take place from September 6 to September 10 exclusively on PC. Players participating in the PC Open Test will be able to choose from all 22 heroes, including the four new Wu Lin fighters, and choose to do battle in Duel and Breach Modes, with all three Breach maps available in PvAI, PvP and Custom Match. The PC Open Test will also introduce Perks for the first time, a new system that will replace Gear Stats. Players can pre-load the Open Test on Uplay PC starting September 4.

Breach Mode is a strategic 4v4 PvP match which allows players to live the fantasy of storming or protecting a well-fortified castle and is free as part of the For Honor: Marching Fire update, launching October 16.  Attackers must work together to storm the castle gates and kill the commander of the castle, while defenders must either take down the battering ram or kill all attackers to protect the commander.

The PC Open Test will also be the first time players will experience some of the new Marching Fire features including the Victory Celebration Screen, a new responsive dialogue system, and more. The Victory Celebration Screen will celebrate the winning team of each match by showing off those players’ customizations and stats. They will be showcased with special poses at the end of each match. The PC Open Test will contain the default pose, while new and more varied poses will be available at the launch of Marching Fire.

The new responsive dialogue system brings the Heroes to life through an immersive speech realization system. Characters will now interact with one another through short dialogues based on their personalities and the context of in-game situations.

Seasoned warriors who own the For Honor base game can now pre-order the Marching Fire expansion for $44.95, available as a digital edition only. The expansion grants access to Arcade, the new PvE mode that pits the player against challenging waves of enemies with different objectives, and, at launch, will immediately unlock the four new Heroes from the new Wu Lin faction (the Tiandi, the Jiang Jun, the Nuxia and the Shaolin), with exclusive access for two weeks before they are available to be unlocked by all players using in-game Steel. Players who pre-order the Marching Fire expansion will receive the Wu Lin Elite Pack, which includes 1 Elite Outfit for all Wu Lin Heroes, worth 28,000 Steel.

All players will be able to recruit the new Wu Lin Heroes using in-game Steel after the initial early access period, as well as play the 4v4 castle siege mode, “Breach”, for free. Additionally, all players will benefit from free graphical enhancements that will improve the in-game textures, introduce a revamped lighting system and new sky gradients and also provide further quality of life improvements including an updated user interface and a new responsive dialog system.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and IO Interactive released a new video at PAX West teasing the next destination featured in HITMAN 2Colombia. This new setting will put players directly in the heart of a dark and dangerous South American rainforest, providing a vastly different canvas for Agent 47 to carry out his deadly missions. Truly a living, breathing jungle environment with threats lurking around every corner, Colombia will feature a unique gameplay experience with multiple paths to explore, unparalleled game depth and countless interactive possibilities for players. DLC Includes Aquaman and Shazam! Movie Level Packs and Favourite Characters and Locations from Across the DC Universe 

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment revealed the LEGO® DC Super-Villains Season Pass which will provide players with exciting add-on game content inspired by a wide range of DC movies, live action and animated TV series, and comics. The Season Pass will feature six Level Packs and four Character Packs, including two Aquaman Movie Level Packs inspired by the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures film, Aquaman, in theaters nationwide on December 13 and two Shazam! Movie Level Packs inspired by the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures film Shazam! in theaters nationwide April 2019.

The DC Super Heroes TV Series Character Pack and DC Super-Villains TV Series Character Pack will add favorites from Warner Bros. Television, including DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Black Lightning TV series. Additional packs include the DC Films Character Pack, plus Batman: The Animated Series Level Pack and Young Justice Level Pack inspired by the Warner Bros. Animation series.

LuGus Studios will launch Liftoff, the world’s leading drone racing sim, on September 13th. Do you have what it takes to master your craft and own the skies?

30th August, Hasselt, Belgium: LuGus Studios are thrilled to announce that Liftoff will be leaving early access and taking to the skies on Thursday, 13th September.

Created to capture the high speed excitement of drone racing, Liftoff aims to open up the FPV racing experience to everyone, from skilled pilots and veteran drone racers, to gamers who are interested in taking their first tentative steps into the drone racing community. During their time in Early Access Liftoff conquered the arctic circle, was used as a $1600 clue on TV show Jeopardy and has been used by the French military as a training tool to test the reflexes of their pilots.

Liftoff has been built with authenticity at its core, featuring simulated drone physics that have been painstakingly recreated to blur the line between video game and reality. Since the game was revealed, LuGus Studios have applied 85 updates to Liftoff, integrated 21 real life drone frames, built 14 environments for racers to explore and created a dedicated competitive league. Liftoff also features a comprehensive track editor which has seen nearly 3000 tracks built by Liftoff’s passionate community.

While the game is used professionally and has seen pilots go on to win real life races, Liftoff is still a game at heart and will launch packed with new content including environments, drones and cosmetic rewards, while additional track building tools and tweaked physics will also be implemented for Liftoff’s launch. Liftoff also supports the use of FPV goggles and a wide range of remotes to completely immerse players at the forefront of the racing action.
