Rogue-like farming sim aren’t two genres many would expect to be paired together, but Raw Fury and Bird Bath Games have made one! Their game Atomicrops is currently in early access for the PC on the Epic Game Store. Atomicrops will launch in full on the Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on May 28th. The early access version is currently available for $14.99 USD, though it is unclear if the price will rise once the game launches.
Atomicrops is a rogue-like farming sim following in the footsteps of Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley. After a nuclear blast levels the world, players take over their grandfather’s farm to help feed the local town. Unfortunately, mutants and bandits raid the farm every night, requiring the player to take up their trusty assault rifle and defend their crops.
