This just in: outlaw gangs have been spotted gathering at local Wizards Play Network (WPN) stores within Australia and New Zealand. With Heist Season running from now until May 31, eyewitnesses have reported exclusive themed rewards are available to outlaws who return for multiple events.

By participating in at least 4 events throughout the season, players can nab an iconic MTG Bandana, a full set of Character Badges, Wanted Posters, and Gold-Coloured Metal Tokens representing each member of the Gang of Legends. In-store events that are eligible for this loot include Prerelease Events, Limited Events (Draft and Sealed), and Friday Night Magic events for Outlaws of Thunder Junction. 

THE TIME OF OUTLAWS!

Criminals run amok in Thunder Junction. So much so that creature types such as Rogues, Assassins, Pirates, Warlocks, or Mercenaries are collectively referred to as the batched term, ‘Outlaw’. But that’s not the only new mechanic for you to look out for, partner: the more devious-minded criminals will Plot, exiling a card face-up for its plot cost to cast on a later turn without paying its mana cost. For villains of a less subtle nature, Spree grants instants and sorceries several dastardly and chaotic effects that can be paid with an additional cost. Finally, an outlaw cannot ride into the sunset without their Mount. These can be activated by tapping any number of creatures a player controls with total power equal to or greater than the Mount creature’s Saddle value. They will be saddled until the end of the turn, triggering powerful additional abilities.

CRIME RUNS RAMPANT IN OMENPORT!

It’s outlaw versus outlaw in Thunder Junction, and the winner won’t play by the rules. Whenever a player targets an opponent or their hand, permanents, spells, library or graveyard, it’s classed as committing a Crime. These are the basis for the Breaking News Bonus Sheet, a collection of iconic reprints themed exclusively to the set. Players can score one Breaking News card in every Play Booster pack, with the added chance of earning a textured foil version in a Collector Booster pack.

WHAT’S IN THE ANCIENT VAULT?

Gangs from all over will risk life and limb to uncover the mysteries of The Vault, a subset of Standard-legal cards in this set. Players who uncover The Vault’s contents gain access to 30 different Mythic Rares, also appearing in striking Vault Frame and Raised Foil treatments.

LOS ANGELES – April 11, 2024 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality mobile games, has launched a new update for its collectible RPG, Tower of God: New World. A new teammate, limited time events and other brand-new content are now available to all players.

SSR [Red Mask] Hwaryun (Red Element, Warrior, Guide) is now available as a playable teammate. Embodying the skilled traits of FUG member Yuto, [Red Mask] Hwaryun is an essential Warrior for physical attacks as she utilizes her skills to stun and provoke enemies. She also grants her allies a buff to increase physical piercing attacks.

The latest update features the Hell Train Arena which allows players across the entire server to battle one another for a 14-day period. Players will need to successfully advance to the next train for an opportunity to win top honors in the Name Hunt Station Festival lineup. Participants will receive valuable rewards including Normal Summon Tickets, Black Market Tickets, Exclusive Equipment Enhancement Extract, Revolution Fragment, SSR Soulstones and more.

Additionally, the Tower Fun Run Event is now open for all players through April 25. Players can level up their board by completing laps of Tower Fun Run and earn gifts such as SSR [Red Mask] Hwaryun, Revolution Fragment, SSR Soulstone, Suspendium, Master Key and more. As player board levels rise, a greater number of rewards can be obtained.  

In Tower of God: New World, players can take control of fan-favorite characters to ascend the Tower. Join Twenty-Fifth Bam – and more than 90 characters – as he fights his way through the Tower in gorgeous 3D animation that will make players feel like they have stepped into an anime world. Players will experience fast-paced battle mechanics while utilizing a unique Slot System that powers up a particular “slot” instead of a specific character.

Cross paths with iconic Wizard101 characters and witness their origin stories in upcoming life sim and visual novel

Round Rock, Texas (April 11, 2024) – KingsIsle Entertainment – the development team behind critically acclaimed free-to-play MMORPGs Wizard101 and Pirate101 – is excited to announce its very first single-player game, Ravenwood Academy: A Wizard101 Story. Coming to Windows PC via Steam, the narrative life sim and visual novel is a prequel set in the same Spiral setting as Wizard101.

In Ravenwood Academy, players will don their robes and raise their wands as students at the titular school, a beloved setting from Wizard101. Across each in-game day – split into four time slots – players must balance a busy class schedule with extracurricular hijinks such as investigating magical mysteries, completing a variety of fun mini-games, and building relationships with students and teachers – including with past versions of some familiar faces from Wizard101!

At times, Ravenwood Academy players will swap their wizard hats to become problem-solvers, detectives, and even pseudo-lawyers! The game’s main narrative is driven by Crisis Incidents, Investigation Scenes, and Trials. 

When an incident occurs on campus, it is up to you and your friends to search for clues and interview witnesses, culminating in faculty hearings with options to present evidence depending on the choices you’ve made along the way. Will you save a friend accused of misdeeds or use the gathered information to save yourself? Multiple ending scenes will be based on the outcome of the trials, who you have befriended, and other decisions you make during your semester at Ravenwood Academy.

The Spiral is made better with friends, and relationship-building is a core objective of Ravenwood Academy. Progress through the storyline with potential friends, encountering various tests, obstacles, and branching dialogue options that can influence your relationships. Earn trust to grow your relationships and unlock optional scenes. Through player actions, spurned friends may turn into rivals, while friendships with a high enough relationship level can, if you choose, turn into budding romances!

• Foster Relationships: Interact and create connections with diverse characters as you navigate your new school. Who you deem friend or foe will impact your story and unlock special scenes and branching dialogue options.
