Those of you who have already downloaded it from PSN or bought it at your local retailer already know that Gran Turismo delivers an unrivaled and authentic racing experience on the PSP, not to mention a massive collection of 800+ cars. Polyphony Digital specifically designed the game for the PSP, with more accessible gameplay modes and more social gaming-oriented multiplayer racing. Gran Turismo breaks a lot of new ground, both technologically in terms of hardware performance, as well as in terms of bringing innovative new features to the Gran Turismo series that are tailored for gaming on the go.
A while ago I posted off Cubee’s to create the awesome Leon and Claire Cubees, they were a great succcess. NOW Capcom-Europe has just revealed the 2nd set of Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles characters from their partnership with Cubeecraft: Chris Redfield and a standard Resident Evil zombie from Code Veronica.
Both of these will make a nice addition to the growing Resident Evil Cubee army!

Between September 24(Thursday) and 27(Sunday), the Tokyo Game Show 2009 was hosted by the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA; Chairman: Yoichi Wada; Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo), in cooperation with Nikkei Business Publications, Inc. (Nikkei BP; President & CEO: Yasuo Hirata; Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo). The show welcomed 185,030 visitors at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City and ended in a great success.
This was the 19th holding since the Show was first held in 1996, and 180 corporations, organizations, and schools from 18 countries and regions ran their booths. In addition to a total of 758 titles registered in advance for the exhibition, a series of new titles were launched during the Show as well. TOKYO GAME SHOW 2009 successfully provided people all over the world with a wide variety of the latest information on games, living up to its reputation as the largestcomputer entertainment show in the world.
In response to the current trend in the game industry, the Advanced Mobile & PC section was introduced this year to showcase contents and devices for PCs, mobile phones, and smart phones, and received a lot of attention. Museum of Game Science and History, the TGS organizer’s exhibition introducing game technologies and histories, welcomed many visitors as in the past years. The original official goods designed exclusively for TOKYO GAME SHOW 2009 were also popular.
The winners of the Japan Game Awards sponsored by CESA (Game of the Year Award, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award, Amateur Division Award, and Future Division Award) were announced during the Show, and the talented creators and brilliant titles were commended.
Furthermore, the Creators’ Talk Show and the CoFesta Main Booth, both linked to “Japan International Contents Festival 2009” (CoFesta), also received a great number of visitors.
The TOKYO GAME SHOW will be celebrating its 20th holding next year. TOKYO GAME SHOW 2010 is scheduled to be held at Makuhari Messe from September 16 (Thursday) or 17 (Friday) through September 19 (Sun), 2010. We hope to see you all there.

Well Tokyo Game Show 2009 is over for another year. It was great, lots of great new games available to test out. Not to mention all the fantastic COS Play characters that dressed up as their favourite video game /anime characters.
I have broken down the pictures of the show into two :

I will also provide some further insight on what games will be released from software developers in the coming days. It’s been very hectic at the moment. So I appologise for the lack of action on the site.
I hope the pictures keep you busy for a little bit. Feel free to leave comments and let me know what you think.
A lot more videos are now appearing on Youtube .. here is one thats easy one the eyes.
T-Hawk looks good but i think he still needs to be tweaked a little as he’s too powerful. It’s still early days.
For me the big dissapointment is Juri. It’s been advised that Juri is meant to be a Tae Kwon Specialist. Well having practiced the art myself for over 15 years, I have to say that Juri doesn’t really look like a TKD fighter what so ever. To me she looks like Dee Jay on SPEED !!
This news courtesy of Capcom-Unity and screen shots from Touch Arcade
I have to add that the future of gaming is on the is little thing we all call a iPhone.. and below is the proof.
During TGS, Capcom Japan revealed a new game for the iPhone that looks like a version of Ghouls ‘n Ghosts (as you can see in the image above). The name of the game hasn’t been revealed, but Touch Arcade was able to gather the following:
The game is a side-scrolling 2D action game, but the graphics are rendered in 3D polygons. It seems as if you can choose between two initial protagonists at the game’s outset, ‘Arthur’ and ‘Lancelot’.
No other information (including US release plans) has been revealed, so as usual, stay tuned.
Capcom announced at TGS 2009 that arrival of Super Street Fighter IV.
You might have a lot of questions about Super Street Fighter IV. Well in a nut-shell, Street Fighter IV producer Yoshinori Ono advised that the game will not be a downloadable content addon. It will be available as a stand alone disc, but not at a full retail price. A special bonus feature will be available for owners of the original Street Fighter IV disc but Capcom are not commenting on what it might be.. just gotta wait and see what it might be 😉 So far EIGHT extra playable characters have been announced but only 2 confirmed. The legendary T-HAWK that made his debute in the Super Street Fighter II and a new recruite called JURI .. A Korean Tea Kwon Do specialist who will rely mostly on her fast kicks that might put pretty Miss Chun-Li’s super fast lightening kicks in her place. (I’m specially interested in seeing JURI in action and seeing how accurate her Tae Kwon Do style is, as I’ve practiced the art for over 15 years myself).
Apart from all this Capcom have taken in fan feed back and improved online features, and rebalanced characters. All shall be revealed in the spring of 2010. For now get yourself pumped with the preview trailer. Check back regularly for more updates on Super Street Fighter as they become available.
