No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise Launch Trailer

In 2008, a little known game called No More Heroes was released on the Wii. This game was of cause Suda51’s latest project bringing his crazy insaneness along with it. Travis Touchdown with a Beam katana – Nuff’ said! For anyone that missed out playing this gem of a game, the original Wii game has now been ported to both Playstaion 3 and Xbox 360 in Japan with plans of a worldwide release. Entitled ‘No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise’ player can utilise the Playsation Move controller or Kinect Sensor to play the game.

The port version of the game will have a few new features, including high-definition graphics, English and Japanese voice-acting, a nightmare mode where player will be able to revisit ‘Ranking Battles’ and a new interesting game mode called “Very Sweet Mode” – where all female character costumes have been changed to be “more risqué” (so to speak).

No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise is available for Playstation 3 on May 19, while for the Xbox 360 version is expected to be released later this year meanwhile, check out the new launch trailer of No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise now

Silent Hill: Downpour gameplay hits monsters with chairs

silent-hill-downpour-foggy-screenshots-05

Chances are quite good that while you are reading this you are sitting in a chair of some sort. Did you know that your chair there is good for more than just a place to sit yourself while you browse the internet? For instance you can pick it up and break it over a monsters head for one thing.

Or at least that is what happens with Mr. Pendleton here in the first gameplay we have seen of Silent Hill: Downpour. This video comes from Konami as their Silent Hill fan page on Facebook has hit 500,000 “Likes” and this is their thank you for all of their fans. It is also a great way to encourage more people to come Like their Facebook page all the same. We’ll be seeing much more of Downpour when it is shown off at E3.

THQ Breaks The Seal with New Trailer For Red Faction: Armageddon..

With all of the recent news of Red Faction: Armageddon comes one of the best trailers I have personally seen for the title which was released today by THQ. Titled “breaking the seal”, this cinematic clip gives quite a bit more insight into the game’s narrative as it follows Darius as he discovers that the seal holding back an enemy threat on Mars has now been broken.

Tons of destruction, airstrikes, and a little bit of romance are all prominently displayed in the trailer as well, which you can see for yourself below. Red Faction: Armageddon releases for the PC, Xbox 360, & PS3 June 7th for the U.S, June 9th for AU, and June 10th for Europe.

Atari and developers CD Projekt RED’s ‘The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings’ today hits retail shelves. As well as this, the Witcher 2: Digital Premium Edition is now available for download via gog.com; the game’s official digital distributer.

The highly anticipated sequel to 2007’s critically acclaimed The Witcher, The Witcher 2, ups the ante by places an emphasis on new non-linear game narration, new characters, mature themes, morally ambiguous choices.

Along with this, the game’s developer CD Projekt RED has announced the “DLC 4 FREE” program. As the name suggests, future Witcher 2 downloadable content will be free to download for registered users. The first piece of DLC titled ‘Troll Trouble’ is already available for download as of today.

Valet Parking 1989 parks on the DSiWare May 30th..

Get those sunglasses on, roll up your sleeves, and gel your that as Zordix have officially dated their newest title, Valet Parking 1989, which will be coming to North America on May 30th through the DSiWare download service. Since the official announcement and trailer were released a while back, I have been anticipating Valet Parking 1989 for a while now as it just seems to stick out for the download service due to it’s stylistic 80’s retro feel and simple gameplay.

In this game, time management is key as players must park and deliver cars for clients as quickly in neon-lit 80’s setting. I am honestly wanting to say that Valet Parking 1989’s premise reminds me a bit of Diner Dash, but with a lot more flare and charm as well as the promised “movie-like story mode” which sounds equally as promising. In less than 2 weeks, the ability to park cars for “totally rad” clients and celebrities will be a reality for all DSi owners in this addictive little puzzler. Spiral Knights Updated

Players to the online Zelda-like game, Spiral Knights, published by SEGA, will have noticed the game has only just been recently updated today. This update brings a couple of new features, one of which is standard to most MMORPGs out on the market.

In the town of Haven, there is now an auction house that players can use to distribute their wares to other players for a price of in-game money as well as a new training facility to help players become more masterful with the controls. The room is designed to help players become accustomed to the ‘clockworks’; and even allows players to combat and train against robots.

The patch also introduces many fixes and adjustments, such as the update on the prices of in-game items as well as a new lag-fix.

Sega Confirms 3DS & PC Release for Sonic Generations..

With the recent leak on Gamestop.com that pretty much confirmed Sonic Generations would be heading to the 3DS, it isn’t too surprising that Sega have now officially listed the game for Nintendo’s handheld in a new earnings report. What is really interesting about this bit of news is that a PC version is also scheduled for release right alongside the PS3, Xbox 360, and 3DS releases later this year.

Sega still have yet to step in and officially offer up any information on the features that either version will hold, but with E3 just next month, I’m sure more answers will start to trickle out soon.

Gotham City Imposters concept art answers a few questions

Yesterday Warner Brothers Interactive revealed that they have been working alongside Monolith Productions to make an XBLA, PSN and PC title involving the Batman universe in a way that we have yet to see in gaming. Gotham City Imposters will take players and place them in the Batman world but they will not be playing an iconic supervillain or even Batman himself, instead they will be playing imposters, or copy cats.

The concept art released today helps answer a few questions about the title such as what these characters may actually look like and how the game itself may unfold. Sure it just shows various people trying their best to look like Batman or Joker but it proves that players should be able to customize themselves anyway they want as long as it is similar to either Batman or Joker in actual appearance. The game itself will be a first person shooter and there currently hasn’t been a release date given, nor a price tag.

Honest Hearts Fallout: New Vegas DLC available now on XBLM and PC

It looks like the legends of The Burned Man may be true after all. Especially if you download Fallout: New Vegas’ latest DLC pack Honest Hearts. Which you can now if you own the PC or Xbox 360 version of the game, because PlayStation 3 users have unfortunately suffered a set back to development and will find their Honest Heart package released at a later date.

For 800 MSP or $10 you will be able to venture into the Zion National Park and come into a war between the Burned Man himself, the missionaries that are there as well as the various tribes that have existed in Zion since the fallout. You can pick up the DLC here for the Xbox 360 version of Fallout: New Vegas.
