Mutant Blobs Attack your PlayStation Vita

Keeping a blob captive is a daunting task and apparently not one that the people at this lab were capable of performing. In Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack players will take control of an angry mutant blob that has finally been able to escape from a lab and now is ready to get its revenge by destroying and consuming everything in its path.

Developed by Drink Box Studios, the same people who brought you Tales from Space: About a Blob, Mutant Blobs attack contains plenty of new features, most of which are thanks to the fact that this game is for the PlayStation Vita. Players will be able to take advantage of bonus levels using the Vita’s gyroscopic controls, use of the touch screen and rear touch pad to provide a new take on the platforming genre and more. Check out the trailer below and see what a mutant blob can do once it has been unleashed.

Alan Wake’s American Nightmare stylized as an episode of Night Springs

While most developer diaries can tend to be a bit bland, it seems that Remedy has found the best way to create an exciting and mysterious developer diary. Recently Remedy released another developer diary, this time focusing on how Alan Wake’s American Nightmare is different than the past title. This includes how they are drawing from various sci-fi and horror classics to create the environment of the game.

This only makes sense, considering the title is set to be stylized after an episode of Night Springs that Alan Wake himself wrote. For those who played the first game, they may remember that Night Springs was a television show which would appear on various televisions throughout the game. The developer diary can be seen below, and pay close attention to the house in the background… you won’t regret it.

Check out this Uncharted: Golden Abyss launch trailer

With the release of the PlayStation Vita right around the corner it only makes sense that Sony release a trailer for the hottest launch title in the whole launch line-up. Below you can catch the Uncharted: Golden Abyss launch trailer as well as plenty of Nathan Drake footage.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss is controlled with the Vita’s analog sticks, but players can also tilt the Vita to help their aim while shooting enemies as well as use the touch screen to help navigate the environment. In the launch trailer we see mostly cut-scene footage that reveals a little bit about what story gamers can expect when the title is released.

Prepare for a Girl Fight from Kung Fu Factory and Majesco

We may have a winner for the most head turning title of the year… or at least for men anyways. Majesco Entertainment announced today that they are publishing a game that is being called Girl Fight and is being developed by Kung Fu Factory and produced by Microprose. The title is set to be released as a downloadable title on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later this year.

Girl Fight will be “a unique all-female, fast-paced spin on arcade-style fighting games” says the press release, where players will be able to choose from a wide array of sexy fighters, or even create one themselves, that will allow them to fight their way out of the evil Foundation which collects women from around the world and plugs them into The Mainframe for their plans. With each girl featuring a unique fighting style and a number of unlockable customization items it seems that this Girl Fight is one to keep an eye out for.

Binary Domain demo drops on February 15th

Nothing will brighten up your day more than having a surprise demo announcement given a few days before said demo is set to be released. Sega has revealed today that they are planning on releasing a demo for their upcoming futuristic robot apocalypse shooter Binary Domain on February 15th on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy to contain voiced dialogue

While Square Enix is keeping pretty tight lipped about Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, a title which still has no release date in Japan or North America, it seems that the producer wants to share at least a little bit of information for the title. Producer Tomoya Asano has shared with fans that voice recording for the game is currently underway reports Siliconera.

Now while this confirms that the game will indeed contain voiced dialogue, Asano did not reveal any information about what characters the actors are performing or who is handling the voice work for said characters, as nothing has been officially announced yet.

Rune Factory 4 pre-order bonuses include Headphones and Drama CD

While it has not yet been given a Western release date, Rune Factory 4 is currently set to be released in Japan in July. Marvelous AQL has revealed to Famitsu that those who pre-order the game will receive a few bonuses that would certainly guarantee a pre-order from most fans.

Those who pre-order the game will receive a pair of headphones as well as a special Drama CD which is being described as something you’d want to listen to in secret, though whatever that means can be left up to you. At this time there are no images of the pre-order content, though the game itself certainly sounds like it may be the best Rune Factory title to date with players even able to marry some boss monsters they face.
