Watch the Opening Cinematic for Mutant Blobs Attack!

Mad scientist developers DrinkBox Studios present a story of slime and sweat and tears:

SEE a Mutant Blob’s insatiable hunger for destruction!

FEEL the pain and rage that burns inside a science experiment from outer space!

HEAR the shrieks and cries from puny humans as they run for their lives!

The PS Vita’s first indie title (and also it’s cheapest launch game) has just unveiled it’s opening cinematic. Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack is the follow up to About a Blob, which enjoyed a lot of critical success when it was released on the Playstation Network last year. Both games are platformers that let the player take control of an ever growing, ever hungry blob that longs to destroy everything in sight! To celebrate the launch of the sequel, the first game has been bundled up with it’s DLC and is available for the discounted price of $9.99, the stand alone game is also on offer at $7.99.

The game is available now in North America (currently sitting at $7.99 on the PlayStation Store) and is also available in PAL supporting territories. I encourage you to check out the video below which is packed with lots of cartoon attitude and some rather awesome music.

Mass Effect 3 to have reversible featuring FemShep

Remember how over the past few months BioWare and EA held a campaign for fans to vote on what the “official” Female Shepard should look like? Well it seems that the companies aren’t about to let all those weeks of voting go to waste because a recent unboxing video from EA themselves has revealed that Mass Effect 3 will have a reversible cover.

The standard edition of Mass Effect 3 will feature this cover on all platforms and while the outward cover art will show the standard Male Shepard, gamers are able to flip it around to see Female Shepard if they so choose to. The full unboxing video can be seen below. Which Shepard will you be choosing when you pick up Mass Effect 3 when it releases on March 6th?

New brain training 3DS game on the way with Devil Training

0

While some people may have liked playing their enjoyable video games on their Nintendo DS, there were others who chose that they should try to work on learning things and training their memory through the Brain Age games. If you happened to never play these games, players would take part in mini-games that would require the player to test their memory and mental ability.

Now it seems that there is yet another Brain Age game on the way for the Nintendo 3DS, though this time around the game is going to contain challenges so difficult that it is already being referred to as “Devil Training.” You see that guy up there? He is going to be your teacher this time around, not the calm and nice Japanese teacher from Brain Age.

Ubisoft Announce Just Dance Best Of for the Nintendo Wii

There is no doubt that the Just Dance series has made a tremendous impact this generation, with skyrocketing sales seen on the Wii and seeing new life on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 late last year. If you think Ubisoft are even close to being done with the franchise though, you would be wrong as today Just Dance Best Of was announced exclusively for the Nintendo Wii.

As it sounds, this title will bring back some of the best tracks from the first two Just Dance titles and feature over 25 songs for fans to…well…dance to.

Here is a bit of a glimpse into the selection:

  • Satisfaction (Isak Original Extended) – Benny Benassi presents “The Biz”
  • Hey Ya! – Outkast
  • Rasputin – Boney M.
  • Firework – Katy Perry
  • Kung Fu Fighting (Dave Ruffy / Mark Wallis Remix) – Carl Douglas
  • U Can’t Touch This – Groove Century
  • Cosmic Girl – Jamiroquai
  • I Like to Move It (Radio Mix) – Reel 2 Real feat. The Mad Stuntman
  • Out of those 25 tracks, two are songs that have never been released on any Just Dance Wii™ game in Australia before:

  • Only Girl (In The World) – Rihanna
  • Airplanes – B.o.B featuring Hayley Williams of Paramore
  • So, there you have it. Just Dance Best Of can be found on shelves on March 29th.

Capcom, Namco and Sega teaming up for unknown 3DS collaboration

Earlier this morning Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata announced that Capcom, Namco Bandai and Sega would be working together on a game for the Nintendo 3DS. Unfortunately that is all he said as he would not elaborate further.

Shortly after his statement a mysterious teaser site popped up on the internet and can be seen here, though it provides practically zero clue as to what the game could possibly be. Some combination of the three companies’ franchises? Or maybe a brand new title that will take all of three teams working together? Your guess is as good as ours is at this point.
