Monster Life out now on the iOS!

Monster life is the new free to play Gameloft game on iOS and it’s an interesting blend of Pokemon meets Viva Pinata meets Nintendogs with the player required to collect 20 different adorable paper doll style monsters and raise them in the player owned and upgraded town then train them by embarking on an epic quest to save the world of Numa!

The citybuilder side of things is general fair for any Facebook style city builder but its the feeding, training and battling your monsters in 1v1 to 3v3 battles which should be the most interesting aspect, especially considering the timing based attacks based on reflex when the appropriate message appears on the screen.

Monster Life is out now for both iPhone and both iPad (DOWNLOAD HERE)  and is just the thing for anyone with that gottacatchemallitus.

Blue Exorcist Movie Trailer

Last year following the conclusion of the Blue Exorcist anime series, the announcement was made that a Blue Exorcist film had been green-lit. The film which has been in the works all year, is set to premiere December 28, 2012, in cinemas across Japan.

In anticipation of the film’s premiere a new official trailer for the Blue Exorcist movie has been released and can be seen below. The trailer shows off a little bit of footage here and there but doesn’t reveal too much in the way of the film’s plot.  The Blue Exorcist movie is said to feature the same director as the anime series Atsushi Takahashi reprising his role. Judging from promotional art, the film will feature and focus around a Winter setting.

Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think in the comments section.

Symbiote Studios creating Skyrim figurines

Symbiote Studios is making another cute little figurine and they are going to be showing it off at QuakeCon. First of all anyone who happened to order a QuakeCon Swag Pack will get a special figurine from Symbiote Studios which features the Quake logo on its face.

They have also stated that they have acquired the rights to make a figure based off of Bethesda’s Skyrim franchise. The first figurine will be of the Dragonborn from the game, though it is worth noting the design will be of the Dragonborn always shown in promotional material. Potential buyers can pre-order the figure now for $9.99 and it will ship later this month.

See Ada Wong in action in Resident Evil 6

Resident Evil 6 is going to be a massive game no matter how you look at it and even if you do manage to beat Chris, Leon and Jake’s scenarios you will have even more to do. You see, once you finish all three of these you will unlock a special storyline featuring Ada Wong as the main character.

Ada is going to be using a crossbow as well as a number of other weapons, though it is worth noting that she is a solo mode character unlike the rest of the characters in the game. You can see her in action below as she takes out a number of zombies and fights against a naked spider monster.

Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires’ Nobunyaga will scratch up the competition

Get it? Scratch because he is a cat? Well either way, Tecmo Koei has decided that they would take one of their biggest liberties with the Romance of the Three Kingdoms by introducing a feline general in the form of Nobunyaga which is also Nobunaga Oda… a character who would normally only be in Samurai Warriors.

So not only is this a cat-morph but it is also a cross-over. He will be given away to those who pre-order Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires in Japan, while anyone who buys an copy of the game when it is released will at least get some of Nobunyaga’s costume pieces. Currently Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires is set to be released only in Japan on September 20th as a PlayStation 3 exclusive.

Dragon’s Dogma gets an Easy Mode patch

Although Dragon’s Dogma received a very positive review from yours truly, and although I never found the game difficult by any means, apparently the title is difficult for a large number of gamers. If you happen to be one of these gamers who is unable to progress further in the game then Capcom is about to throw you a bone.

A patch for the Japanese version of Dragon’s Dogma will be released August 6th and with this patch an Easy mode will be implemented. This Easy mode will allow players to switch difficulties via the option menu whenever they want. Currently this patch has no release date for Western versions of the game, though one can expect such a patch soon.

Carrier Command Episode 2 Out Now

0

The second episode of the episodic prequel series to the upcoming Carrier Command: Gaea Mission, Carrier Command: Recruits, is out now. In this episode players take the role of a Technical Analyst and have to recover some missing data off a downed drone.

The first episode of this series was released last week and the minigame series is set to continue for another two more episodes, meaning that this spans an entire four episodes before the launch of the Full Game. Players will also be able to share their progress on Facebook to be in the running for 1 of 5 copies of the full game when it is launched.
