iPad Mini has been announced by Apple and Incipio is right behind with an announcement of their own. Incipio is releasing four cases for the initial iPad Mini launch.
The LEXINGTON is a vegan friendly leather case that combines a rigid Plextonium frame for drop and scratch protection with a faux leather cover with micro suede lining. The case folds up for several angles for viewing and typing. Best of all, no guilty feelings about cows being slaughtered to protect your case.
The LGND is an origami inspired case made out of vegan leathers with a magnetic front cover. The best part of the origami style case is the fact it easily folds into different configurations including vertical viewing modes not found in traditional Apple Smart Cover style cases.
The NGP is short for Next Generation Polymer. This case is a semi rigid NGP material that has a smooth matte finish that will wrap around the iPad Mini providing it protection from impacts and scratches without tearing.
The feather for iPad Mini is a Plextonium frame that provides a rigid impact protection while maintaining a 1mm thick profile. The feather comes in four eye catching colours, Obsidian Black, Cherry Blossom Pink, Cyan Blue, and Royal Purple.
These cases are available for preorder hereand will be in retail stores in the coming days.

It looks like another RPG is being given the remake treatment for the PlayStation Vita and this time around, it is from Namco Bandai’s Tales franchise. The latest issue of Jump Magazine, the scan of which can be seen to the right, contains an announcement saying that Tales of Hearts, originally released on the Nintendo DS, is going to be released on the PlayStation Vita as Tales of Hearts R.
The magazine states that Namco Bandai is planning to add a number of new story events, a new character called Calcedoni Arkam and the whole game will be voiced. Also listed in the magazine is a release window for the game, stating that it is set to be released at some point in Spring 2013.
Capcom has announced today that the free Resident Evil 6 update that they revealed recently will be released at some point in the middle of December. This free Resident Evil 6 update will provide an adjustable camera system which will allow the player to adjust the view to suit their tastes.
Also included in this update is an immediate unlock for Ada Wong’s campaign, now with co-op play, as well as a new No Hope Left difficulty setting which will make the game “insanely hard” and finally a few bug fixes and tweaks are also being applied with this update. Check out some screenshots of Ada’s co-op campaign and the new camera angles below.
If you were wondering when Electronic Arts’ SimCity would hit stores then you will be glad to hear that the company made their announcement concerning a release date today. Unfortunately it will not be during the month of February like the company has been stating since E3 this year.
Instead the game will be released on March 5th in North America and March 8th in Europe, so the company didn’t miss their previous launch window by too much at the very least. Anyone eager to pick this game up once it hits store shelves? Or should I say Origin shelves?
It seems that interactive trailers are starting to become a bit more of a common thing, because now that Assassin’s Creed 3 is set to be released a week from now, Ubisoft has released a brand new trailer for the game which allows you to choose a couple of paths to complete your mission of assassinating Major John Pitcairn during the Battle of Bunker Hill.
The trailer can be found below, though you will need to access the full experience taken from the trailer itself. It is worth noting that Major Pitcairn did die during the Battle of Bunker Hill, though it wasn’t to an assassin’s blade but a simple rifle bullet that did him in.
Remember that War Games Map Pass that is included with the Limited Edition of Halo 4? Well that is exactly what you thought it was, a season pass and it will be sold separately once the game is released in a couple of weeks. The War Games Map Pass will cost $25 (2,000 MSP) and will provide access to the three multiplayer map packs which are scheduled to be released at some point in December, February and April.
The season pass will cost 15% less than if you were to pick up each DLC pack separately. Also if you happen to pick up the War Games Map Pass you will also unlock a unique emblem and two in-game helmets to show off in Halo 4’s multiplayer.
Today Rockstar Games released the first official piece of artwork for Grand Theft Auto V which can be seen above. This piece of art is called “Pest Control” and as you can see, it matches the type of loading screen artwork that Grand Theft Auto is known for and may even appear as a loading screen once Grand Theft Auto V hits stores.
Currently we’ve only seen a brief trailer and a number of screenshots showing off various activities and vehicles that gamers will be able to make use of when Grand Theft Auto V is released at some point in the future, likely within 2013.
Us here at Capsule Computers were very fortunate to get a one on one interview with the Creative Director for Multiplayer on Medal of Honor Warfighter, Kristoffer “Hoffe” Bergqvist. In our transcribed interview below, we take a look at what’s to come in the upcoming Medal of Honor: Warfighter video game on the side of the Multiplayer.
Be sure to read the interview below.
Could you introduce yourself for everyone at home?
I’m Kristoffer Bergqvist the creative director for multiplayer at Danger Close Games.
So you’ve been working on MoH Warfighter, which is the 12th in the series?
Or the 14th Depending on how you count. There have been a lot of Medal of Honor games. What’s great about this is that we’ve developed the Multiplayer in house. We haven’t done that for a while, it’s always been outsourced.
It’s been a lot of fun working with the team, some guys have been working here for years, some of the team have been working on the series for 15 years, since Spielberg.
So with MoH WF, you’ve tried to differentiate yourself from other shooters, most predominantly Battlefield 3. What’s the deal with comparing this to another EA product rather than a competitor?
We’ve been working on this since day 1. I’m Ex-Battlefield, I’ve been there for many years since before I came over to Danger Close. So Battlefield has always been about the Sledgehammer, the big wars the frontline, the attacks, the tanks, etc.
And we’re the scout one, we’re the T1 guys fighting boots to the ground, arm to arm kind of close-quarter kind of combat. It’s always been our objective since day one to redefine the Medal of Honor multiplayer and I’m really happy how that’s turned out.
What was the inspiration of the multiplayer aspect of the game?
The single player medal of honor has always been about telling the soldiers story and working with the guys and we felt the multiplayer has to come from there as well. So we sat down and talked for hours and hours with all the special operators we worked with and features started coming out of that. So for instance, they talked very highly about all the other special international operators that they’ve met and deployed. We’re an international development team, so we’re like yeah hats really cool, we want that. So that’s how we ended up with this global tier 1, with 12 units from around the world, so we have the American ones, the polish GWL, the Swedish SMG and of course the Australian SAS arm.
So we’ve talked with these guys and we’ve built the multiplayer around that. Our fireteam feature, which is a bit like co-op, with you and a friend. Also coming from working with the operators, we took them to the mo-cap center and they showed us a door breach and room entry. And just seeing how well they worked together how they always knew where the other guy was, that’s what we want to see in game and that’s how we ended up with the fireteam feature.
So how does the Fireteam aspects come across in the multiplayer?
So basically, it’s you and a friend, you can always see your friend, like where he is, you can also see through the environment whether he’s low on health, low on ammo and you share information about enemies. The big thing that will change the gameplay elements is that you can spawn on your team mate if he’s safe. So one of the things to do is to take as much ground as possible and then when one of you dies, he can go hide, stay safe and you can spawn immediately. Also when he dies, and you see who killed him and you have a more aggressive friend, if he kills the guy who killed you, you can come back immediately.
Which was more fun to develop? Battlefield or Medal of Honor?
I dunno, Battlefield 2 was my first one. And after two years, it was awesome. But then moving into this studio and working with such a legacy it has been great.
And that brings us to the end of our interview, thanks for your time.
Farming Simulator 2013 is finally going to be released, in Europe at least, which means now is the perfect time to release a launch trailer.
