BulkyPix Releasing Ninja Toss

Ninja Toss, a new action/arcade title developed by D-Soft, will be released by BulkyPix for the iOS on November 15. We’ve seen “throwing games” where you play as a ninja tossing out shurikens…well, in this case, the ninja himself is what you’ll be throwing. And he’s not the lightest ninja we’ve ever seen (that’s putting it nicely)!

The chubby ninja goes by the name of Nyam, and he has a fatal weakness…you guessed it, food! More specifically, onigiri, sushi and yakitori. Using a catapult, players will aim to launch this gourmand as far as possible. Nyam will safely bounce off of surfaces thanks to his ample belly, and into said tasty treats whilst avoiding nasty traps, smashing rice balls and collecting their fallen grains.

Being a ninja, Nyam does possess ancestral powers with 6 power-ups and 2 ninja skills available for upgrade. 13 different donuts await, acting as hazardous, or beneficial, to your health as you traverse the 5 different landscapes to stop and destroy ultimate evil in story mode. There is also a survival mode, Game Center integration and hilarious skins to unlock for the pudgy Nyam.

For a first look at the humorous title, check out its first official screenshots below!

Assassin’s Creed 3 Launch Trailer

Ubisoft have released a brand new trailer for the eagerly anticipated launch of Assassin’s Creed 3. The game itself is set to launch on the 31st of October on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 with the PC version releasing on the 22nd of November.

The launch trailer which can be seen below highlights and hypes up what looks to be perhaps the most interesting Assassin’s Creed game to date. The game is of course a radical departure from the norm with Assassin’s Creed and looks to provide a very different experience to the games that preceded it.

Be sure to check out the trailer below and let us know what you think of Assassin’s Creed 3 in the comments section.

New Live Action Playstation All-Stars Trailer Released

Sony Computer Entertainment America have released a brand new Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale trailer. However, this trailer happens to be live action rather than using game footage. It is an extension to three short teaser trailers released during the last few days. Entitled “The All-Star”, the trailer documents a battle between Nathan Drake, Kratos, Cole McGrath and Sackboy. After Kratos is attacked by the other three, a young male (who bears a resemblance to Michael in the Michael ad) convinces the God of War to regroup and attack with the Sword of Athena.

The trailer is littered with references to the characters playable in Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. The language used on the typewriter is from Ratchet and Clank. In another scene, bullet shells scatter across a battlefield could be a reference for Colonel Radec of Killzone as well as Sweet Tooth’s sword. All in all, there are an abundance of references to the characters selected for the roster so far. Playstation All-Stars battle Royale is coming to the Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita on November 20 for North America, with releases in other Western territories following November 20. Check out “The All-Star” trailer below.

Fuse Screenshots And Video Released

FUSE, the game coming up from EA with the EA partners program, has had a new bunch of screenshots and a trailer released for it. This trailer is actually more of a developers commentary showcasing 18 minutes of footage which goes through the basic story of the game.

In FUSE, there is an alien power source called Fuse that a group of organisations are trying to obtain. These organisations are known as Hyperion and a mercenary group. The game also features a unique teamwork system that rewards all players for acting as a team, rather than making it competitive between players.

Be sure to check out the screenshots and trailer embedded below.

Tomb Raider’s box art revealed

Today Square Enix has revealed what the final box art for Crystal Dynamics’ reboot to the Tomb Raider franchise will look like. The company has chosen to use the above artwork as a base for the box art, and then condensed it down to fit on each case.

The final product can be seen below, as well as a larger version of the above artwork, and players will be able to step into the shoes of Lara Croft as she tries to survive on a mysterious tropical island full of danger next year when the game is released on March 5th for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Monster Monpiece is a stripping card battle Vita game

2

If you were hoping that Compile Heart’s Monster Monpiece would be making its way over to the West at any point, well… you better start hoping as hard as you can because it seems very unlikely now that the first gameplay details of the game have come forward.

This week’s isssue of Dengeki PlayStation has given us a first look at Monster Monpiece, with two cans of the magazine shown below, and it has been revealed that the game is actually a moe monster card battling game with online support.

Currently the game is set to be released sometime in 2013 and as you can see in the images below, there are a number of monsters that the player will have to fight against, though they are are cute monster girls. The interesting thing about this PlayStation Vita game is the fact that players will use the Vita’s touch screen to touch the monsters and strip them of their clothes to reveal weak spots. Also as shown in one of the scans below, monsters can be stripped from heavy armor down to basic underwear.

Toki to Towa may turn into a full series

It seems that low sales in Japan aren’t enough to keep a game down if Kei Hirono has his way. Namco Bandai’s producer recently talked with Mainichi Shimbun’s Mantan Web and at the end of his discussion he stated that he is aiming on turning Toki to Towa (Time and Eternity) into a series and is hoping that fans will continue to support the game.

For those who don’t know, Toki to Towa was developed by Imageepoch and was billed as a “HD animation RPG” with numerous anime scenes worked into the game alongside a unique style of gameplay. The title was released in Japan back on October 11th and only saw 32,215 copies sold during it’s first week at market. Currently a Western release of the game has been mentioned as possible by developers, though never fully confirmed by Western branches of Namco.
