First English trailer released for Etrian Odyssey IV

0

We already know that Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan will be released in North America courtesy of Atlus USA next year on February 26th, but so far we have only seen a few screenshots of the game in English. Well today Atlus rectified that issue by releasing an English teaser trailer for Etrian Odyssey IV which can be seen below.

It is worth noting that Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan is actually the first game in the series that will feature a Casual mode that will take the player back to town if they die or warp to town whenever they feel like instead of simply ending the game. It also happens to be the first game to feature enemies created with polygons instead of simple 2D sprites.

New Dark screenshots emerge from the shadows

Remember a game called Dark? No? Well then Kalypso Media is here with a fresh batch of screenshots to remind you that the game exists. Dark happens to be a supernatural third-person RPG which focuses around stealth and action.

Currently Dark is meant to be released at some point in Q2 2013 for both the PC and the Xbox 360 and below you can see some images of the main character’s vampire abilities and some of the game’s stealth mechanics. It is worth noting that the game does use 3D cel-shaded art so fans of that type of style may appreciate the images.

New Boxart and details for FUSE Emerge

At this moment, not a lot is known about EA’s FUSE, an upcoming 4 player co-op story-driven action game that is due out in March. Today, that has changed a tad as a new boxart has come forward, along with more details of what Insomniac’s new IP will have in store for players.
Check out the new information for yourselves:

The game follows the worldwide journey of four elite agents who battle a rogue paramilitary organization to prevent a global arms race from spiraling out of control. Even solo players can experience the unique attributes of all four agents by switching between them at will during combat via the game’s LEAP feature. The agents are equipped with unique skills and weapons not only integral for survival, but that also allows for unexpected and extraordinary results. Experimental Fuse weapons are powered by a volatile alien substance that gives players unique capabilities that expand their strategic options in and out of combat.

Through lethal teamwork, players can complete objectives and kills to earn Fuse points for powerful upgrades. Players can experience Fuse online or offline and level up along unique character paths, allowing players to unlock more powerful Fuse-driven abilities as the game progresses. In addition, the game’s progression system is unified between different modes, allowing players to continue improving their agents regardless of play style.

It sounds pretty solid so far, and a bit like Borderlands based on the co-op alone. FUSE will not launch until next year, but stay tuned as even more details are sure to come as we get closer to that Spring release date.

Far Cry 3 Co-op Trailer

A new Far Cry 3 trailer from Ubisoft has emerged today, this time showing off the game’s coop mode.

We’re introduced to the 4 characters that will make up the coop team: Callum the Scottish thug, Leonard the crooked cop, Tisha the ex-soldier and Mikhail a Russian hitman.

The coop campaign is set 6 months before the main story campaign and is a story filled with revenge and “crazy shite”. We’re told of a potential antagonist named ‘The Captain’ who has seemingly stolen the groups “stash”.

Not sure how we feel about that Scottish accent yet but the coop campaign looks to be shaping up nicely.
