If for some reason you can’t log into the SimCity server to play your single player game that requires online connection at all times, you now have a place to find out why! Today EA and Maxis have launched an official SimCity server status page because that is what things have come to now.
The page can be found here, and at least at the moment it looks like Maxis and EA have managed to put an end to most of the problems that were plaguing their online servers. Of course… if the company had made the single player game available for players offline, this would never have been an issue in the first place.
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge’s demo is now available for download on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 today and Tecmo Koei decided to detail a little bit about what fans can expect once they have finished downloading it. In the demo, players can play as both Ryu and Ayane in separate stages, Ryu in Dubai and Ayane in Paris.
Once you have completed both stages you will actually unlock Kasumi as a playable character in the game’s Chapter Challenge mode which allows you to use other characters in specific stages. This means that players can catch a glimpse of Kasumi’s skill-set before the game is released. It is also worth noting that players can take all Karma and Ninja Skills acquired in the demo and transfer them over to the full Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge release which hits stores on April 2nd in North America and April 5th in Europe.
Company of Heroes 2 is hoping to make strides past its predecessor by upping the ante of realism in many different respects. It isn’t looking to make just a few enhancements and call it good, instead trying to make every element in the game as real as possible. To point out just what all they’ve done to improve on the realism can be found in the info-graphic that Relic Entertainment and SEGA have just released.
Players can check out what all these changes by viewing the info-graphic below, click it to see the full sized image in a new tab. From locations, to events, to weapons, and even the sound of the weapons are based on the real deals, in hopes of adding that extra depth to the feel of gameplay. As well as the story itself coming straight from stories from the Eastern Front.
Company of Heroes 2 will be releasing in North America and Europe June 25th, 2013 for PC.
Today Square Enix launched a large sale on the Xbox 360 which has discounted not only DLC for their titles but also a number of digital downloads. The full list of downloadable games and DLC can be seen below and each are on sale for 50% off their standard price.

The only way in which someone would be happy with their World Record being broken is if it was themselves overtaking the previous mark. And that’s exactly what Wargaming, the award-winning video game developer and publisher has announced. World of Tanks has once again broken the record for ‘Most Players Online Simultaneously on One MMO Server’. On the 21st January 2013, they broke their own record when they reached the triple figure mark of 190,541 players online at once on the RU2 (Russian region) server.
The previous record for ‘Most Players Online Simultaneously on One MMO Server’, which also belonged to World of Tanks, was established on the 23rd January 2011 with 91,311 players, a significant amount less than the new total.
March 2013 also brought another significant record for Wargaming and World of Tanks, with the peak number of players online across the Russian World of Tanks servers exceeding 800,000 players simultaneously.
Andrei Yarantsau, VP of global operations at Wargaming has proudly stated
“Its an important and exciting milestone for the company.” He carried on by saying that “If World of Tanks keeps growing at the rate it is, the game will soon top the current total and secure another world record.”
Are you one of those players that helped break the record? Let us know what you think of World Of Tanks in the comments section below.
