LinkedIn can be a great thing, as not only does it help members of various industries network, it also can provide some leaked information at times. Today such information happened to be spotted by Twitter user @supererogatory which happens to show that CGI creation studio, Blur Studio, seems to have worked on a cinematic trailer for Dead Rising 3 at some point.

Currently there has been no Dead Rising 3 announcement, but the resumes of two Blur employees as well as a cloth-hair technical director and rigging supervisor list the title. Ever since Dead Rising 2: Off the Record was released late in 2011, the series has been quiet and while this is far from an announcement, fans of the series now have a little more hope for another game in the series than they had yesterday.

If you’ve been holding out on the Borderlands 2 downloadable content so far, then perhaps you should wait just a little bit longer. The Australian Classification Board has just provided a rating for something called “Borderlands 2 Expansion Pack – Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty and Mister Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage.”

As one would surmise, this means that there may be a retail release that includes the first two DLC campaigns released for Borderlands 2 sometime in the future. This isn’t too much of a surprise considering the original Borderlands DLC was also bundled in the same way, with the first two packs given a retail release while the last two were bundled in the GotY edition.

In recent years it has become the nature of the beast to scoff at anything that isn’t tied to the basic controller, whether it be touch, motion or voice commands. However when done right, these extra control methods usually make gameplay a better experience.

As such, many people are still unsure of how Dead Space 3 will handle the various voice commands that players will be using, and as such EA and Visceral have released the below trailer showing off a number of commands the player can give the Kinect, including a number of co-op specific voice commands. Obviously Kinect support is only for the 360 version of the game, and will not be usable on the PC and PS3 platforms.

If you’ve been concerned that Telltale’s venture into The Walking Dead franchise hasn’t been well received by the public, then perhaps this news will help you relax a little bit. Telltale’s CEO Dan Connors, while speaking with the Wall Street Journal, has stated that gamers have purchased more than 8.5 million episodes of The Walking Dead across every platform since it started being released.

As the WSJ points out, this totals more than $40 million in sales and around 25% of those sales happened on the iOS. Telltale states that November and December were the companies best selling months, which can be attributed to the fact that the final episode was released during this time and that the game series was given countless Game of the Year awards. With the company looking to creating a second season sometime in the future, this obviously bodes well for fans.
