BioShock Infinite: False Shepherd Trailer Sets Up an Amazing Story

bioshock-infinite-screenshot-01

In the latest and greatest trailer from 2K Games, we see culmination of some great gameplay and a compelling storyline, two things any good game needs in equal measures. The trailer itself is fairly spoiler free and is more along the lines of a main character focus rather than a story reveal one. Within, we see Booker DeWitt fighting for not only his own survival in the hectic Columbia, but also fighting for the life and safety of his quarry and soon-to-be partner Elizabeth.

Bioshock Infinite looks set to bring the outstanding play of the previous two games in the series smoothly to an entirely new location, which is great news for fans and newcomers alike. Judging by Irrational’s other entries, players can expect truly grey moral areas, a mix of brutal power and gunplay as well as a compelling world and story to pull any gamer through. Bioshock Infinite is arriving to stores worldwide on March 26th, for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

Be sure to watch out for that SongBird and check out the new trailer down below.

Persona 4 Arena may finally be released in Europe in May

persona-4-arena-gallery-mode

It’s been a long time coming but it seems that Persona 4 Arena will finally be making its way to Europe. I say it’s been a long time coming because Persona 4 Arena was first released in Japan and North America last summer and was supposed to be released in Europe by the end of August.

Well August came and went and now it looks like Zen United, the game’s publisher in Europe, finally has some sort of release window. On the company’s Facebook they stated: “We are now in submission for the Xbox 360 build of Persona 4 Arena. Though dependent on when it passes, of course – I think it’s realistic for me to say we’re looking at a May release.”

This is certainly disappointing for those who were looking forward to the title and considering the PlayStation 3 version of the game was actually region locked, a first for the PS3 market, even importers couldn’t enjoy the game.

From March 15 until March 18 the discount will be activated and iPad users can pick up the title completely free of charge as part of St. Patrick’s Day festivities. The following is what a few reviewers think about Capsized+:

“Never got around to playing Capsized when it was released for PC? Well there’s no excuse to miss out on it now Capsized+ takes all the exploration and combat of the original and reworks it to fit on the iPad I wouldn’t have expected Capsized+ to be so much fun on the iPad but it really is. Thanks in large part to the new control scheme.” – 148Apps

“Anyone who hasn’t played the original but always wanted to needs to try Capsized+. It’s a great port of a great game… Heck, even fans of the PC version might want to grab it because it’s more portable. And it gives them an excuse to play it again.” – my iGadget

“The high level of detail creates an intriguing atmosphere that immediately catches your eye. Smooth animation and stunning backgrounds complete the amazing picture… The controls are perfect.” – iReviewT

“Fun and intense platform action with handmade graphics.”- Tierra Gamer

Toki Tori 2 Final Screenshots Before Release

When last we had heard about Toki Tori 2, the game was going into the certification process with Nintendo, which of course means there isn’t too much for developer Two Tribes to do themselves.  So, instead of just sitting around twiddling their thumbs until hearing back, they have decided to release one final set of screenshots from the game.

However, it should be noted that developer Two Tribes wont be sitting idle too long, as they will be attending PAX East, at the Indie Mega Booth (number 679) from running March 22nd-24th, 2013.  Those attending and visiting them at the booth will be able to play Toki Tori 2 for themselves on the WiiU.

Back to the screenshots, which players can find the full-sized images of by clicking them in the gallery.  While, they don’t show off too much of the game, they do certainly show of the wide range of locations that Toki Tori will be visiting in the sequel.

Raven revealed as a playable character in Injustice: Gods Among Us

injustice-gods-among-us-raven

Today a new character has been revealed to be part of Injustice: Gods Among Us’ roster and boy will a few people be happy then sad. The good news is that the new character added into NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros’ fighting game is Raven. The bad news? What the world did they do to her design and voice work.

Anyways, you can check out Raven as she battles against Cat Woman in the reveal trailer below. Although her outfit may be something from the comics that I am unfamiliar with, one would think that considering most of the people looking forward to Injustice probably are more familiar with her Teen Titans origin and basis rather than whatever they have provided here.

Free-to-Play Dungeon Party Re-released to Steam

Maybe you remember and maybe you don’t, but Dungeon Party was initially released back in 2009 teams of up to 5 players each went at it to do the only thing people ever really go into dungeons for . . . Treasure!  Well, now it is 2013 and independent developer Cyanide Studio has re-released the free-to-play game onto Steam to be enjoy once again by original players and new alike.  Players get to choose a character and pick out accessories to use in-game, then while playing earn experience to get even more accessories to aid in future games.

What adds more into Dungeon Party than the standard dungeon diving affair, isn’t that the two teams are competing against each other, but that the teams are also competing for the treasure chests love!  What does the treasure chest love?  Long walks out of the dungeon and killing enemies apparently.

Players can try Dungeon Party out for themselves from Steam HERE and as an added bonus will receive 5 Cyans credit for joining in before March 31st, 2013.  Not sure enough yet?  Check out the gameplay trailer embedded below to get see it in action.
