Square Enix and Airtight Games‘ Murdered: Soul Suspect impressed at E3 with its new take on the action/adventure genre, netting 11 awards and 28 nominations.

Murdered: Soul Suspect offers a whole new realm of mystery where the case is personal and the clues just out of reach. Players take the role of detective Ronan O’Connor whose life is brought to an untimely end by a brutal and relentless killer. Unable to move on and stuck in the limbo world of Dusk, he won’t find peace until he can bring his killer to justice from the afterlife. Using his new-found supernatural abilities, Ronan is free to explore the town of Salem, Massachusetts, from his shadowy afterlife. Unable to communicate with the detectives on his case, Ronan must read the minds of the living, influencing their thoughts and actions, piecing together the puzzle, while battling demonic spirits to save his soul and uncover the shocking truth about who is responsible for his death.

Time And Eternity Available For PlayStation 3

NIS America has just announced that Time and Eternity is now available in Australia and New Zealand for the PlayStation 3. This game sports an awesome hand-drawn style of animation that will blow you away. In this excellent RPG you will be a witness to your own death, not only that but it was at your wedding too, so now you travel back in time with your fiancée in order to track down your killer and stop him from following through with your murder. A whole bunch of DLC is said to be released after the game is, which will allow you to dive deeper into the world of Time and Eternity.

Kamza, a vibrant kingdom located on a lush ocean island, is in the midst of a national event celebrating the upcoming marriage of their princess to a valiant knight. But when a group of assassins appears during the ceremony, this dream come true transforms into their worst nightmare. As the knight lays mortally wounded, the princess reveals her long-hidden secret—there is a second soul living within her, and together they control the power to travel through time. But can they act quickly enough to reverse the course of history and find out what happened that fateful day? Only time will tell…

Elsword Launching In The U.K. Soon

Elsword is a side-scrolling MMORPG with an Anime styling to it. In Elsword, players live in a virtual world that draws its energy from the mystical Eldrit stone. However, after some kind of event, the stone splits into parts and scatters across the world. Players play as one of six classes and party together to reunite all of these shards in the game world.

What’s interesting is that Elsword has been available as a game since as early as 2010, but isn’t releasing in the U.K. until the 17th of July this year. This means the U.K. players will enter with the benefit of their being a lot content that has since been added through a bunch of updates since it’s initial release.

Magic 2014 Pre-release Weekend

For those who joined in the on the Magic Madness over this weekend, July 13-14, they received the luxury of playing with and winning some of the exclusive cards, including the promo Megantic Sliver, from the new Magic 2014 (M14) core set! The worldwide pre-release tournament brought Magic The Gathering gamers together at different local venues, including Good Games and Battlecraft Games.

The pre-release event offered players two formats:

Sealed ($40)- each individual creates a deck using six M14 booster packs
2 Headed Giant Sealed ($60) – in teams of two, create a deck using eight M14 booster packs

If you missed out on seeing all the cards, Wizards of the Coast have provided the official M14 card gallery on their site here. The M14 core set will be available to purchase from local retailers as of July 19th.

As for the next big event, there will be a Magic Celebration on September 7th, where players will receive not only a special code for downloading content for the multi-platform game Magic 2014—Duels of the Planeswalkers, but also a free M14 booster pack and achievement card!

To all magic players, the spark is just igniting.

High School DxD 3DS Game Detailed

Details have emerged regarding the upcoming erotic battle adventure game, High School DxD for the Nintendo 3DS. Several features of the game were detailed along with its plot-line which follows the anime series quite closely.

The game is based upon the popular harem anime of the same name about a young perverted teen named Issei Hyodou who becomes a devil after being killed on his first date, he then becomes a devil slave to club president Rias Gremory all the while planning to become the harem king.

There will be a number of features in the game including Issei’s famous ‘Dress Break’ ability which allows him to instantly remove the clothes of sexy girls. Not only will he have the ‘Dress Break’ ability, but the game will also feature the ability known as ‘Dress Change’ which forces sexy girls into different sexy outfits at Issei’s behest.

High School DxD will also feature what is being touted as a revolutionary boob bouncing system, the likes of which put even Senran Kagura to shame. Kadokawa Games claim to have ensured the accuracy to the high level of bouncing as seen in the anime series.

The High School DxD 3DS game will hit shelves in Japan on November 28th, 2013. Get ready to Dress Break!

This week on CC Unplugged, Dustin Spencer, Travis Bruno, and Luke Halliday come together to talk about the gaming news and goings on in the past week. Hatsune Miku Promoting Pizzas in Japan

Hatsune Miku has teamed up with the Domino’s pizza chain to bring a whole new pizza delivery experience.

Unfortunately they are not putting the delivery drivers in Hatsune Miku cosplay, but they are going to delivering pizzas in a brand new bike that will be covered with pictures of the popular Vocaloid. Believe it or not this is actually the second Miku delivery bike that Dominos have created; the first one started delivering pizzas around Tokyo earlier this year and the second bike will become active on Tuesday.

The partnership between these two can be further shown on their official website. In my opinion this is an interesting concept, however when it comes to pizza promotion nothing can beat the Ninja Turtles.

Miku and Dominos have a strange collaboration going on, not only is she on their vehicles in Japan, but she also appears on special pizza boxes that combines with a special phone app that lets you… actually check out the video down below, I’ll let the Domino’s President explain it all.

Miyamoto teases new franchise for 2014

Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto has slipped out some details on what he is currently working on in an interview with Famitsu. Interestingly enough it appears that Miyamoto is working on a brand new franchise for Nintendo set for 2014. Miyamoto commented on his current work saying:

“We’ll have Mario Kart 8 out next spring, and at that point we’ll have the whole lineup in place, so I think it’s about time we brought out a new franchise, I can’t give out details, but that’s the title that’s been keeping me pretty busy lately.”

No details as of yet what the new franchise may be, but feel free to speculate on it in the comments section below. Stay tuned as more information on this franchise comes to light.

Strange Merchandise From The Strange Show Aku No Hana

Calling all deviants and fans of Aku no Hana, the anime may have ended, but don’t be in despair, you still have the manga and can purchase some truly authentic merchandise guaranteed to strip away a few of those unnecessary layers (Aku fans know what I mean).

Brain Police is a special anime merchandise shop located in Shibuya-Ku Tokyo and is selling nine different products relating to the series. Products include a fan, iPhone case and a metal bookmark that all feature the iconic Aku no Hana flower. All of those are normal, however this next one is the weirdest … they are selling a t-shirt that looks exactly like Saeki’s gym top. The shirt features the 2-1 and her name written on the front, perfect for all you Kosuga cosplayers out there.

All products can be found on the Brain Police Website and will be on sale at the end of this month.

‘Ace Combat Infinity’ Trademarked As Teaser Site Launched

Rumours and whispers have been circulating around the net as soon as Namco Bandai launched a mysterious teaser website for a new Project Aces title, heralding what is probably a new entry in the Ace Combat series.

Furthermore, it’s been discovered that the trademark Ace Combat Infinity has been filed in Europe by Namco Bandai, all but cementing fans hopes for a new title. The teaser website shows a subtle image of a sky and reads, “That day our sky fe||, the heaven’s split to create new skies.” The letter L’s in “fell” are elongated, suggesting there is more to the message than meets the eye.

Ace Combat Assault Horizon was the latest entry in the long-running air combat series, and marked a serious change in game mechanics with a real-world setting. We reviewed the PC version (a first for the series) earlier this year. Fans are hoping this new title may return to Ace Combat’s roots. Keep your eyes out for an imminent announcement.
