walking-dead-season-2-intro- (2)

We knew the news would drop soon and now the time has come. Today Telltale Games has released the first bit of information for The Walking Dead: Season Two with a teaser trailer and a handful of screenshots.

If you check out everything below and also pay attention to a certain hashtag the company is using to advertise the game, it is being heavily hinted that players will have direct control of Clementine this season as she tries to survive after the events of the first season. Currently Season Two is set to start “later this year” and it will be available as five episodes that can be purchased separately for $5 each or all at once for $22.49.

Halo: Spartan Assault Coming to Xbox 360 and Xbox One

After releasing for PC and Windows 8 phones, Halo: Spartan Assault will be making the transition to consoles later this year for both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Adding in new content along with the Operation Hydra expansion previously released to the original version, console players will not only get the chance to experience the story of Sarah Palmer’s rise to the top of the Spartan IV’s, but join in with a friend.

Halo: Spartan Assault will be adding in a new co-op feature exclusively for the console version of the game, though unfortunately there will not be any cross-platform play between 360 and One. The co-op mode isn’t the only console exclusive however, as it will also include the first ever encounter with the Flood in Spartan Assault, along with a host of new weapons, armor abilities, and upgrades.

Halo: Spartan Assault is set to release for both the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One in December 2014.

Infinite Crisis Holding Closed Beta Cup

Warner Bros. and Turbine are looking to spice up its closed beta process for Infinite Crisis with a Closed Beta Cup in association with the Electronic Sports League (ESL). This closed beta cup will be taking place over the course of three months beginning on November 10th, with weekly events ending every Sunday where the eight best teams will receive points and the top team winning €200. At the end of each month, the eight team with the most points will compete to decide the top two teams who will be splitting a prize of €500.

While the MOBA isn’t set to release unto 2014, this seems like a pretty good way for Infinite Crisis to do a good amount of stress and balance testing, especially with the prize money on the line. Those looking to join in on the Infinite Crisis Closed Beta Cup can check out the ESL website to sign up.
