Irvine, Calif., November 20, 2013—The hit free-to-play action MMORPG Elsword enters a brave new world where players will journey to the mysterious and thriving desert kingdom of Sander. Sander offers a level cap increase, new wind-based gameplay, and a brand new cast of friends and foes.
Welcome to the desert kingdom of Sander: magical winds and merciless foes will lead players to both new stories and untold riches. The townfolk of the wealthy trading center in Sander are desperate to turn back the warring tribes at their doorstep. Elsword and his team rush to their aid, assisted by mystical winds that allow them to soar through the air for a breath-taking view of the sun-drenched lands. Also assisting is a level cap increase to 64 and powerful new weapons and armor. Characters will need this potent gear when they confront the rock-skinned Trock tribe, in Barren Sander, a city consumed by the desert itself. In Garpai Rock, players will ascend a treacherous cliff face to do battle with the harpy tribe in some of the craziest vertical battles yet.
At the urging of Hamel’s water priestess, Elsword’s band journeys to Sander seeking Anduran the priestess of wind. She alone may know the final resting place of the power of the El and its caretaker, the elusive Lady of El. On arrival, however, they find the usually peaceful tribes surrounding Sander have been driven mad by a mysterious force – and worse yet, those tribes have kidnapped the wind priestess. Players must overcome all odds to free the wind priestess and uncover the hidden evil afflicting Sander.

DEVOLVER DIGITAL AND DROPSY TO CONQUER YOUR FEAR OF CLOWNS THROUGH LOVE IN 2014
– Hugs for Everyone –
Homeland, Florida – Independent developer Jay Tholen and rogue game publisher Devolver Digital have announced their hug-filled partnership on the open world adventure game Dropsy to PC, Mac, and Linux in October 2014.
Dropsy is a non-traditional take on the classic point and click adventure formula starring the game’s perpetually carefree namesake clown as he explores a richly detailed world full of colorful characters and sinister secrets, doling out hugs along the way. Rather than lead players on a singular narrative path, players are free to choose which avenues of adventure they want to explore in an open world setting and can piece the puzzles and story together however they choose.
During the quest to clear his name after a deadly circus fire, Dropsy will encounter a peculiar cast of folk to communicate with through visual icons rather than the traditional text dialog trees. Through these rudimentary conversations, Dropsy takes players on a self-aware journey of self-discovery with a story that harnesses powerful themes of love and redemption – Dropsy the character is an outsider, longing for a community to call his own. Along his adventure, players will find answers to geographically based puzzles, unravel dark and shameful secrets from his past, and collect fancy items to stuff in his elastic waistband for use along the way. Oh, and Dropsy can also talk to animals.
Originating as a “choose your own adventure” game in 2008, Dropsy has made its way to a full-fledged adventure game through the support of backers on Kickstarter. While Dropsy quickly surpassed its $14,000 funding goal, the Devolver Digital team has pledged additional development, marketing, and production funds to help Jay Tholen and his team fully realize Dropsy without compromising anywhere along the way.
“You had me at visual dialog,” remarked Devolver Digital CFO, Fork Parker. “We’re going to save a boatload of cash on localization.”
Fans of oddly carefree clowns and Devolver Digital productions can visit www.dropsytheclown.com to pre-order Dropsy and grab other fancy rewards while the Kickstarter is still live. Follow @DropsyTheClown on Twitter to keep up with development updates and other news.

Colossatron: Massive World Threat is still incoming, so Halfbrick has opted to release another Special Report to dig deeper into the matter. Able to speak directly to General Moustache, Rick Dalton of Action News 6 wants to know what the military is hoping to do about the Colossatron that had been reported on earlier.
The military however does not seem to have a solid idea on how to stop something as big as the Colossatron however, which will be a good thing for players as they go up against new prototype weapons. Facing off against enemies from “Super Tanks” to “Gunships” the Colossatron will be making its way destroying all in its path and collecting more power from the damage it causes.
The new special report is embedded below for those wanting to see how the situation is setting up before Colossatron: Massive World Threat releases sometime this year for iPad and iPhone.

Well, that escalated fairly quickly. I had a gut feeling something was going to throw a spanner in the works and complicate the tenuous relationships between the village and the surface following the previous episode.
The Wooden Maiden or the Ofunehiki, an offering to the Sea God, is finished and is looking stunning thanks to the hard work of the school kids from the village and surface alike. The clincher here is when Manaka and Tsumugu say out loud that they want to do the boatdrift ceremony inn unison, much to their embarrassment. Hikari takes note of this thoughtfully rather than jealously. In an awesome show of maturity, he decides to change himself by making the ceremony a reality for the sake of Manaka and Tsumugu.
Tsumugu suggests that they should all do it together with both the Sea Village and the surface working together, the only problem is that the Village and the surface Fishery Cooperative are in disagreement this year. Hikari pushes ahead for the ceremony to continue, vowing to get the Sea People to agree via a petition while Tsumugu tries to convince the surface.
Manaka notices that Hikari isn’t acting like himself, instead he’s more determined but for a reason she doesn’t know. Chisaki suggests he’s trying to change himself and Manaka awkwardly tries to put a negative spin on this fact. Chisaki laughs it off and ponders that some things change whether we want them to or not.
Hikari’s dad, the Sea Village, wants no part in this cooperative effort but still shows up to the eventual deliberation between the two sides. It starts off promising, with everyone but Hikari’s dad impressed by the effort put into the Wooden Maiden. But the dad points out that the kimono isn’t wrapped properly, talk about being a pessimist! It doesn’t take long for the whole meeting to go haywire as the Sea Village demands a broad apology from the surface. The smug demand turns into a full-blown argument and it gets even more heated when Akari untimely shows up with her boyfriend Itaru, adding fuel to the fire. The whole gets a little out of hand and, predictably, like a train wreck in slow motion the Wooden Maiden falls and breaks.
Later on, Akari’s father once again bluntly tells her to break up with her boyfriend, to which she replies in an interesting way. Recalling how she once asked her mother why she married, because she was in love of course, and if her father was from the surface would she still marry him? Her mother said yes, and so Akari stands firm by her decision to become Miuna’s new mum. What can her dad say to that, really?
As Akari is packing her bags and getting ready to leave, Hikari surprisingly decides to join her exodus. He explains by saying he can’t resolve the differences between him and his dad. While that’s a fair point, he’s still just a kid and one who has plenty of friends that will be left behind if he leaves. At this point, I really don’t know what to make of his decision.
The two make a final visit to Uroko-sama’s shrine and their father ans bid the two farewell. Desertion doesn’t come without consequences it seems, as Uroko-sama attempts to stop them by encasing them in the magic of the Sea God before trying to freeze them as they defy his demands. Their father begs Uroko-sama to spare them, and he does. The two siblings run towards freedom.
So ends another uncertain episode, where we finally see first-hand how it’s like to escape the Sea Village of Shioshishio. Where will this lead Hikari and Akari and the greater Sea Village in general? I’m apprehensively awaiting the next episode of Nagi no Asukara.
