Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment celebrates one year anniversary of Injustice: Gods Among Us mobile game with brand new multiplayer mode for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch

In celebration of more than a year of battles and two billion play sessions, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced that Injustice: Gods Among Us for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch is now offering an all-new multiplayer mode. Developed from the ground up by award-winning NetherRealm Studios, players can now engage in battle with other players’ teams to score currency, experience and Gear Cards that can equip characters with new powers.   This update also brings in brand new Gold Characters, increased promotion and level caps, a new Challenge Character Booster Pack, and Bonus Missions.  The Android update is scheduled to be available in May.

The newly available multiplayer mode allows fans to assemble their own custom team of Heroes and Villains to pit against other players’ teams. Battles are waged by engaging other users’ online teams, which are represented by an AI driven squad, with every match awarding Multiplayer Points to the victor.  At the end of each Weekly Leaderboard Season, tiered rewards will be distributed to players based on their ranking.

Multiplayer battles can be viewed after the fact via Match Replay, letting players identify their strengths and weaknesses, allowing them to strategically customize their team for the next fight.  Also new to the game is the ability to upgrade character stats and performance with Gear that is awarded based on one’s raking in the leaderboard system.

Originally launched in April 2013, Injustice: Gods Among Us is a free-to-play game that features a collectible card mechanic and engages players in 3-on-3 tag-team combat.  Players can build up their roster and pit a huge cast of DC Comics’ most popular icons such as Batman, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Aquaman and more against one another.  Injustice: Gods Among Us players can take this game to the next level through a connected digital ecosystem linking the mobile and console versions, providing in-game benefits through cross-platform play.  Fans who play on the mobile version and also own the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system or Xbox 360® games and entertainment system versions are able to unlock content in the console versions that is available in the mobile game, and vice versa, by registering for a Warner Bros. ID (WBID) account and playing the game.

The Injustice: Gods Among Us game is available from the App Store on iPad, iPhone and iPod touch or at AppStore.com/Injustice.  The Android version is developed by Virtuous and available on Google Play™ and the Amazon Appstore. The console version, Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition, is available for PS4™ system, PS3™ system, PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.

Lost Saga is open for brawling business!

Nexon Europe offers chance to win big with launch of Open Beta today; Beloved characters from BlazBlue and King of Fighters signed

Luxembourg, 24^th April 2014: Today, Nexon Europe is thrilled to announce the beginning of the highly anticipated Open Beta for the celebrated online brawler Lost Saga. Offering a series of events with awesome rewards. There has never been a better time to join the burgeoning community – and all are welcome to get involved.

A new batch of beloved brawlers will also be added to the game from 30^th April; characters from classic titles BlazBlue and King of Fighters will be accessible to brush up on their skills in the new playground.

The BlazBlue fighters will be the devilishly-attired Hazama and Ragna, while players yearning for the action of SNK classic King of Fighters can take up arms with the Redflame, Iori, or the flame-fingered Kusanagi Kyo.

Along with the Open Beta starting today, Nexon Europe is offering a series of rewards, attainable via Facebook, YouTube, and by simply logging in every day.

Players that change their Facebook profile picture to one of the characters playable in the Open Beta have the opportunity to win 5,000 NX (Nexon Cash) to spend on any Nexon Europe title in their extensive catalogue, including Lost Saga itself. Similarly, players that invite friends to join the game via Facebook are also eligible for a chance to win 5,000 NX. Users are also invited to review the game at their leisure on YouTube, and in doing so can be in the running to win even more Nexon Cash (NX).

Artists will also have their chance to win rewards with the Comic Strip Event. If players can come up with an entertaining comic strip based on the Lost Saga characters that is at least five panels long and includes speech bubbles, they can win Nexon Cash (NX) and have their entry posted to the Lost Saga Facebook page for the thousands of fans to appreciate.

Even players that want to get in on the brawling action and nothing more have a chance to win gifts to use in-game; users that log in every day will be rewarded with the very best gifts to propel them on their way to epic victory.
