Tales of Zestiria’s Rose introduced in latest story trailer

Today Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Tales of Zestiria to kick off Tokyo Game Show and not only do we have this trailer, which can be found below, but Famitsu has also revealed more details about a new character in the game called Rose.

Rose has a deep connection with the Heavenly Tribe and while normal people usually cannot see them, she is capable of seeing them thanks to her strong affinity with the supernatural. As for Tales of Zestiria, currently it is set to be released on January 22nd in Japan for the PlayStation 3 and at the moment no Western release date for the game has been set, though one is already planned.

Creepy Fatal Frame: The Black Haired Shrine Maiden trailer released for TGS

Since Tokyo Game Show has kicked off today, Nintendo and Koei Tecmo have taken the chance to release a brand new trailer for Fatal Frame: The Black Haired Shrine Maiden. The trailer, which can be found below, features plenty of creepy imagery and then shatters it a bit with a peppy song called “In This Cage.”

We have previously seen some gameplay footage of Fatal Frame: The Black Haired Shrine Maiden but this is the first one to focus solely on the story aspect. Currently the title is set to be released in Japan on September 17th and hopefully a Western release will be announced sometime after that.

God Eater 2: Rage Burst announced at Tokyo Game Show; anime announced

If you aren’t a fan of the series, you may not know that it is the five year anniversary of the God Eater series this year. Well Bandai Namco is taking advantage of this landmark year in the franchise as they have announced a number of new God Eater projects. First a God Eater television anime is in the works with Ufotable, the studio who works on the Tales’ franchises anime cutscenes, handling the animation.

Second, they are collaborating with Soul Sacrifice to bring the enemy Marduk over to the title as well as various God Eater weaponry and costumes. Finally, and most importantly, the company also revealed that they are planning on releasing God Eater 2: Rage Burst for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita and an announcement trailer for the game has been released and you can check it out below.

The Great Ace Attorney Announced for 3DS

At Capcom’s recent Tokyo Game Show 2014 presentation they unveiled a new title in the Ace Attorney series. English details are slim right now but the game is called The Great Ace Attorney and will feature the ancestor of Pheonix Wright, Ryuunosuke Naruhodou. The game will also feature legendary detective Sherlock Holmes and Iris Watson along with the lead characters assistant Susato. The game will be set towards the end of the 19th centry in the Meiji Era of Japan and will also see Ryuunosuke travel to England where he will meet Sherlock Holmes. Due to the time period setting, the game will feature different methods of solving crimes as fancy forensic equipment has not yet been invented.

The game is to be released in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS sometime next year, however there is no word on an international release as of yet but you never know what will happen with international releases for games like these. English Deep Down trailer released for Tokyo Game Show

After being quiet about the game for a long time, it seems Capcom is ready to put Deep Down back out there. Today for Tokyo Game Show the company released an English trailer for the free-to-play RPG. While no release date for the game has been announced still, a beta for this PlayStation 4 exclusive is set to begin sometime early in 2015.

Check the trailer out below and as for the game itself, Deep Down takes place in New York City during the year 2094 and features the player traveling through dungeons and reading the memories of objects to see the past.

D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die to be released on Xbox One tomorrow

Swery65 has always been a man of surprises and it seems that he is taking his surprises to the next level. Today at Tokyo Game Show it has been announced that D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die will be getting a sudden launch on the Xbox One… tomorrow. The game will be available for purchase in North America on Thursday and on Friday in Japan where it will be priced at $14.99. This initial purchase will give the players the Prologue, Episode 1, and Episode 2 of the episodic game, with the future episodes set to be released sometime in the future.

D4 makes use of both the Kinect and the controller, with the player being able to swap between the two at any time, and follows David Young, a private investigator whose wife has been killed and now must travel through time to prevent her murder.

With Tokyo Game Show kicking off today, Arc System Works has released a brand new trailer for Guilty Gear Xrd: Sign to kick off the event. To go alongside that trailer, over twelve minutes of gameplay footage has also been released which primarily focuses on Sin Kiske as well as Elphelt.

Sin Kiske is an unlockable character in the game, though his unlock can be purchased, while Elphelt will be included with all first run copies of Guilty Gear Xrd: Sign in Japan. You can check out the trailers below and keep an eye out for the game when it is released for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 sometime this holiday season in North America by Aksys Games.

Final Fantasy Agito+ announced for the PlayStation Vita

You may remember that Square Enix released a Final Fantasy game called Agito for the iOS and Android in Japan and they are currently planning on releasing it in the West next year.

Well today at Toky Game Show, the company also announced that they are releasing an enhanced version of the game called Final Fantasy Agito+ which is going to be released on January 1, 2015 for the PlayStation Vita in Japan. The game will be available for free from the PlayStation Store with mictrotransactions, but a retail version with all of the content will also be available for purchase.

Currently it is unknown if Square Enix has any plans to bring Final Fantasy Agito+ to the West.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Tokyo Game Show trailer released

Today for Tokyo Game Show Square Enix released a new trailer for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD which you can check out below. It has also been revealed that the game will be released on March 17th in North America and March 19th in Europe where it will cost the same as a standard title, $59.99 and can currently be pre-ordered from Amazon.

All versions of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will include a downloadable demo for Final Fantasy XV which is being called “Episode Duscae” and will feature some elements from the opening of the game that have been changed to make it a unique experience.

Today Square Enix released a brand new trailer for Final Fantasy XV for Tokyo Game Show and to go along with this trailer it has been revealed that the director of Final Fantasy XV Tetsuya Nomura will be leaving the project to work entirely on Kingdom Hearts III and Hajime Tabata will be stepping in to take his place.

The gameplay trailer below contains story elements as well as plenty of gameplay footage. While no release date for Final Fantasy XV is known at this time, a demo for the game will be included with copies of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD when it is released in March 2015.
