Bandai Namco & Slightly Mad Studios have announced that the upcoming motor sports simulation game Project CARS is to have four more tracks in new locations. The already large roster of tracks announced for the game covers some of the most iconic raceways in the world, but this seems to not be enough for the ambitious racing simulator.
The legendary Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, located in the United States, will be recreated for players to pit their mettle on. If the inclusion of this alone wasn’t enough, England’s first park circuit Donnington Park is also to be featured. Finally, the English championship raceway Snetterton will be available for players to race on, in three different layouts.
In addition to the three other new tracks added to the roster of over 20 locations, a new race is being added on it’s signature track. The harsh, grueling 55-man endurance race known as the 24 Hours of Le Mans will in the game. This race is held on the track known as the Circuit de la Sarthe. Hopefully the simulated race won’t be as harsh to players as the real life race is to both drivers and the cars!
More locations are to be announced for Project CARS, so be sure to continue to check back for those.
While we have had a very small clip mostly comprising of Shenron for the upcoming 2015 Dragon Ball Z Movie titled Revival of F, we now have about a minute of decent footage showcasing some of the characters that will be in the film and some battle action. All the Z warriors seem to back for this one including Master Roshi, Krillin, Tien, Piccolo, Gohan, Vegeta and Goku. Nearly all these characters are shown wearing new outfits including Goku who is sporting a rare new dogi. Whis and Beerus are also back from Battle of Gods but there roles are unknown as of yet. Interestingly Gohan is shown going Super Saiyan despite having access to his ‘Mystic’ form in the last film.
The trailer is entirely in Japanese, however we know Piccolo says that Frieza has come back and is now in an entirely different league of power and that he also has one more ‘evolution’. How will the Z warriors deal with this increased power Frieza? What is this new evolution? Many questions still remained unanswered but the world will know on April 18th when the film releases in Japan in both 2D and 3D. Don’t forget to watch the trailer below and leave a comment below about what you think of this new footage.

EA and KIDinaKORNER/Interscope Records announced that British blues rock/folk musician Jamie N Commons will be providing the theme song for the upcoming FPSBattlefield Hardline. The artist had this to say about the track:
“Earlier this year ‘Jungle’was featured in the first Battlefield Hardline trailer, which was a total thrill. ‘Karma,’ however, was written specifically with the game in mind. The deep melodic beats and lyrics help express the game’s theme where actions have consequences, but sometimes those consequences come back full circle. I think gamers are going to love it.”
Battlefield Hardline is the first Battlefield title from Visceral Games. The title moves away from the series’ traditional military setting to the streets of Miami, where a violent conflict is breaking out between the police and criminal elements. The game features a full singleplayer campaign and multiplayer combat. Battlefield Hardlinewill launch for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows in North America on March 17th, 2015 and PAL regions on March 19th.
A steam community update provided from Square Enix has announced the release date of an upcoming patch for Final Fantasy XIII (reviewed here for the Xbox 360). On its initial windows release, back in October this year, the game was fraught with technical problems. The biggest of which was the locked in resolution of 1280 x 720. It was also apparent that the in-game cinematics seemed to be heavily compressed, more so than the PlayStation 3 version which was released back in 2009.
This will soon change however, as the patch will be available on December 11th. The Square Enix representative states that the patch adds “custom resolutions (720p, 1080p…) and graphic options”. It is not yet clear what those ‘graphic options’ will be, but the possibility of playing in 1080p and higher will certainly boost the games reputation with PC players. Final Fantasy XIII is available on steam for only $15.99.
