Latest Bandai Namco trademark hints at God Eater 2: Rage Burst localization

God-Eater-2-Rage-Burst-screenshot-04

It looks like Bandai Namco just might be bringing God Eater 2: Rage Burst to the West if this recent trademark filing is anything to go by. Today NeoGAF members found that the company had recently trademarked “Rage Burst” in Europe which is the subtitle for the recently announced God Eater 2 port for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

It is worth noting that the first God Eater title was not released in the West until its enhanced version, Gods Eater Burst, was released in Japan and then localized so it is entirely possible that Bandai Namco is following the same trend with the sequel.

The successor to top down tactical shooter Breach & Clear is taking on a distinctly horror feel. Breach & Clear: Deadline mixes the tactical strategy of the original game with an unending stream of the undead.

Players will lead their elite squad into Harbor City as they attempt to track down and neutralize the source of the infection. Devolver Digital (Shadow Warriorand Tomasz Wacławek will be releasing RONIN later this year. The game is a turn-based action stealth platformer featuring a heroine on a bloody quest for vengeance. Her sights are set on assassinating five powerful members of a corporation. What dastardly thing they’ve done has yet to be revealed, but I’d guess it is along the lines of murdering a close family member.

Players will need to plan their attack and strike from the shadows using their katana and razor wire, then escape to safety with the holographic replicator and grappling hook. The game will come with 15 levels. No word on how much RONIN will cost just yet.
