Last December Telltale Games started their own Game of Thrones game series with Iron from Ice and now less than two months later the company has revealed that they plan on releasing the second episode, ‘The Lost Lords’ in the beginning of February.
To be a bit more specific, Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series: The Lost Lords will be released on February 3rd for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, and Mac while the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions will be released on February 4th and finally February 5th will see the episode released on iOS and Android.
To go along with this announcement Telltale Games has released a trailer for The Lost Lords giving us a brief glimpse at what we can expect as the game takes us to The Wall and flirts with open war between houses.
The successor to top down tactical shooter Breach & Clear is taking on a distinctly horror feel. Breach & Clear: Deadline mixes the tactical strategy of the original game with an unending stream of the undead.
Players will lead their elite squad into Harbor City as they attempt to track down and neutralize the source of the infection. Harbor City is a huge metropolis with several distinct districts filled with dynamically generated areas. As they engage in battle, their squad will level up and get their hands on rare loot.
The game now adds a real-time strategy twist to the series with the brand new Action and Command modes.
Breach & Clear: Deadline is currently in pre-alpha. The developers hope to launch the complete game in a couple months time. Breach & Clear: Deadline is available now on Steam for $14.99 USD. The game is compatible with Linux, Mac, and Windows.
If you are going to PAX South this weekend, be sure to check out Breach & Clear: Deadline at the Devolver Digital booth located at booth 1243.
Devolver Digital (Shadow Warrior) and Tomasz WacÅ‚awek will be releasing RONIN later this year. The game is a turn-based action stealth platformer featuring a heroine on a bloody quest for vengeance. Her sights are set on assassinating five powerful members of a corporation. What dastardly thing they’ve done has yet to be revealed, but I’d guess it is along the lines of murdering a close family member.
Players will need to plan their attack and strike from the shadows using their katana and razor wire, then escape to safety with the holographic replicator and grappling hook. The game will come with 15 levels. No word on how much RONIN will cost just yet.
RONINÂ will be debuting at PAX South this weekend. Visitors can check out the game at Devolver Digital’s booth located at booth 1243.

To celebrate the launch of the ultimate sound system – UE Megaboom – Logitech Australia ‘made music social’ at Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool yesterday evening on January 21. The Australian launch party welcomed Rory Dooley, the Senior VP and General Manager for Ultimate Ears, to announce the next generation boom in music. The latest wireless speaker delivers more than one could possibly imagine; with an increased depth of music, 20-hour long battery life, 100-foot Bluetooth wireless range and smarter updating. With the free iOS and Android app for the UE Megaboom, consumers are now able to use the double-up feature to pair their device with another or better yet, their own UE Boom for twice the beats.
The luxurious location presented the perfect place for “testing the water”, as Rory Dooley carefully demonstrated the IPX7 waterproof power of the UE Megaboom . . . in a fishbowl. I have to admit, I am still getting used to the idea of playing music underwater, whether it be the pool, rain or shower. What distinguishes the UE Boom from the Megaboom is not just the size and power, but the extraordinary impact that the wireless speaker brings to our social atmosphere.
During the party, guests were invited to take selfies to be shared on the official instagram account, megaboom launch, under the tag -‘make music social’- and received printed copies of their photos on request. It was great to see a few unclaimed photos on the wall, above the UE Megabooms. This activity served as a fantastic tool for promoting the event, which attracted an interesting variety of celebrities from Big Brother 2014 contenders, Jake Rich and Lisa Clark to well-known fashion designer and photographer, Christopher Haggarty and even Olympic synchronised swimmers!
Yep, got myself a selfie for the UE Megaboom Launch Party!
Upgrade today and get your UE Megaboom for $349.95 ($299.99 USD), with the initial launch phase releasing four mono colours; Lava Red, Charcoal Black, Electric Blue and Plum.

Disney Infinity has been out for a few months, and although we have had a wave of super heroes, followed by a bunch of Disney Originals there were little to no villains in the mix. The original Disney Infinity gave a villain to (almost) every Play Set when they launched, so the lack of evil was definitely noticeable. Enter: The villains. Spider-Man’s Green Goblin and Guardians of the Galaxy’s Yondu and Ronan the Accuser provide some much needed evil to the package, as well as being totally badass and cool figures to boot.
Wielding the Universal Weapon (his hammer) Ronan the Accuser has stepped off of the Dark Aster and plans on unfurling 1000 years of Kree justice on unsuspecting planets. Although he doesn’t have an Infinity Stone, Ronan packs a serious punch. He can swing his weapon with lethality as well as sending out bolts of purple energy that can rip enemies apart in a matter of seconds.
As a character in the game, Ronan towers over the rest of the characters from the Guardians Play Set (and just about anyone else in the game) which gives him a commanding presence among the other characters. The same can be said for his figure, who is among the tallest in the game. Although one thing I noticed about the figure was the fact that the Universal Weapon’s handle seems a bit frail and easy to break, so just be careful if you are the type to play rough.
When I first heard that they were bringing Yondu to Disney Infinity, I was genuinely interested in how they would bring such a unique character to life on console. Fitting right in alongside his protege Star Lord, Yondu is equipped with his Yaka Arrow which he throws with deadly accuracy. While the Yaka Arrow doesn’t have the same mid-air course correction skills as its film counterpart, it still tears through enemies in a heartbeat and Yondu emits a slight whistle when he throws it. Very much a jack of all trades, Yondu is equally as skilled in hand to hand combat as he is at throwing his arrow from afar.
The figure itself is incredible, and manages to almost perfectly capture Michael Rooker’s likeness from the film. Also, yes I know that Yondu isn’t really a villain, he still has a mean streak that makes him as worthy of his spot on the villains roster as anybody else.
Like the rest of the Spider-Man figures, Green Goblin AKA Normon Osborn is designed after his Ultimate Spider-Man animated series look. That means instead of the thin, creepy goblin that many people grew up with,w e instead get a muscle bound demonic beast of a villain. Goblin’s huge size also reflects his power which appears to be about on par with Hulk and Venom, making Goblin an absolute power house once you have him levelled up to 20. Not only that, but his Pumpkin Bombs can be absolutely devestating to anyone caught in their way.
One thing that really lets down ole’ Gobby is the fact that he presently doesn’t have access to his Goblin Glider. The official Disney Infinity twitter account confirmed that the glider will be added into the game in a future update, but at the moment Spider-Man’s most well known nemesis is without one of his key pieces of equipment, not going to lie that is disappointing.
So although this is one of the shortest waves of Disney Infinity figures that have been released, the villains certainly add a lot to the proceedings. The fact that they are all playable in Play Sets is a huge benefit, and their sheer power makes them a tonne of fun to use. Aside from a few let-downs (like the lack of Goblin Glider, which is seriously a travesty) the three figures in the wave are just downright cool and add some much needed evil diversity to the otherwise hero-centric game.

In case you missed the open beta, there is still time to get some tips on how to survive before Turtle Rock Studios and 2K Games’ upcoming FPS Evolve hits shelves.
