attack-on-titan-part-two-screenshot- (4)

Back when Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains was released in North America by Atlus USA the company had to delay the European release of the game due to various issues related with the actual name of the game. Thankfully it seems that the wait wasn’t too bad as today Atlus USA has announced that Shingeki no Kyojin: Humanity in Chains is now available for download on the Nintendo eShop in Europe for €29.99.

Those who purchase the game will be given a special “Attack on Titan” theme that is not available for purchase separately. For those who don’t know what to expect, you can check out the original launch trailer for the title below.

One-Punch Man Anime, Legend of Galactic Heroes Novels, and More Licensed by Viz

one-punch-man-key-art-001Viz Media’s panel at Anime Expo was jam packed with announcements. Not only did the company announce that they had acquired K: Missing Kings and K: Return of Kings but they had a large number of license announcements for both new series as well as older series that people thought never would be revisited. The first announcement has to deal with the One-Punch Man anime series set to debut in October with Viz announcing the licensing of the anime series, fitting considering they also are publishing the manga in English.

The company went on to announce that they are going to be releasing Legend of the Galactic Heroes under their Haikasoru imprint with the first of three volumes scheduled to be released so far, with the first set for spring 2016, though it is worth noting that the company did say that the continuation of the ten volume series would rely on sales to continue from that point on.

Viz Media went on to announce that they had also acquired the rights to Boruto the Movie, which is set to debut in Japanese theaters starting on August 7th, plans to continue the Dragon Ball full-color manga series into the Freeza arc, and that they would be releasing the Death Note anime series on Blu-ray.

Parasyte -the maxim- to air on Toonami in October

parasyte-screenshot-002

While Toonami has seen quite a large number of anime series from FUNimation and Viz Media debuting on the television block since it returned, Sentai Filmworks hasn’t had much of a chance to shine. That changed earlier today when Sentai Filmworks announced at Anime Expo via an ad and later through a press release that they will be debuting Parasyte -the maxim- on Toonami beginning sometime in October.

The twenty four episode series does not yet have a home video release date which means that Parasyte -the maxim- may be debuting on television before fans have a chance to pick up the retail release of the series.

K: Missing Kings and K: Return of Kings Licensed by Viz Media

k-missing-kings-screenshot-01

Today during their Anime Expo panel Viz Media announced that they have acquired the rights to both the K: Missing Kings anime movie and the second season of the anime series, K: Return of Kings. It is worth noting that Viz Media originally licensed and released the first season of K back in 2014 and that Eleven Arts previously screened the film in theaters in North America that same year.

Currently Viz Media has no set release date for K: Missing Kings but we did review the initial screening of the film. As for K: Return of Kings, the second season is set to premiere sometime in October.

Tales of Symphonia to be Released on Steam in 2016

Tales-of-Symphonia-PC-screenshot-001

If you’ve never had a chance to play Tales of Symphonia either when it was originally released or when it was released in HD format for the PlayStation 3 back in 2014 as part of Tales of Symphonia Chronicles then now is your chance to pick it up on PC.

Bandai Namco has announced that they will be releasing Tales of Symphonia on PC through Steam, oddly everywhere except Japan, in early 2016. Currently no price point or details about the PC port have been announced other than it will be the version that was included in the aforementioned Tales of Symphonia Chronicles.

Danganronpa Another Episode Screenshots and Opening Video Released

danganronpa-another-episode-screenshots- (1)

Now that Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls has a set release date of September 1st in North America and September 4th in Europe, NIS America has chosen to release some new screenshots showing off various characters that players will come across in their attempt to navigate through the despair riddled world, including the Warriors of Hope, a group of children who are killing the adults of Towa City in order to create a utopia for children.

The company has also released the opening movie for Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls and you can check that out below alongside the screenshots. It is worth noting that since this title does take place between the first and second games that there will be spoilers here, including some for the second game if you haven’t managed to get your hands on it.

World of Warships Launches Global Open Beta

World of Warships Launches Global Open Beta

Set a course for 10 original maps, four classes of vessels, and action-packed naval combat

July 3, 2015 — The wait is over as Wargaming today announced World of Warships has launched its Open Beta. With the Closed Beta concluded, which surpassed over 410,000 prospective captains, the floodgates are open to all who are ready to command the most iconic vessels from the mid-century in intense naval battles.

“World of Warships’ Closed Beta was strong out of the gate and showed no signs of slowing as players and streamers embraced the game, then took to the high seas for legendary naval combat,” said Jake Neri, Publishing Producer Wargaming NA. “Participation was solid and a community of passionate, dedicated players was born to help shape the game with their feedback. We can only match that by working on the game with just as much passion. Building on all of this enthusiasm we look forward to welcoming even more players into the Open Beta test for a game we are so proud of.”

The Open Beta launches with over 80 warships from America and Japan and 10 original maps to participate in thrilling 12v12 matches. Players will shape the fight by harnessing the power of mighty battleships, swift destroyers, tactical aircraft carriers or versatile cruisers. Whether it is the fierce competition of PvP combat or the action-packed experience of PvE mode, commanders will take the helm, join forces with other players and sink the competition across the high seas.

Open Beta also brings new additions to the World of Warships experience. With the inclusion of Soviet and UK nations, the finest vessels that Britain and the USSR built will be joining the fleet. For the first time ever, World of Warships introduces a robust signal flag customization system. Earned in battle as achievements and applied to vessels to enhance performance, the signal flags in-game are not only cosmetic but also functional. Signal flags will display a player’s prowess on the water while providing buffs and advantages, such as giving extra credits for a battle, increasing the number of experience points gained in combat, improving the speed of the vessel, and more!

As the Open Beta commences, all purchased pre-order packages are credited to players. Closed Beta testers who used their bundles during the previous testing phase are credited them once again.

F1TM 2015 ‘FEATURES’ GAMEPLAY TRAILER UNLEASHED

SYDNEY, 3rd July 2015Codemasters® today released the ‘Features’ gameplay trailer for F1 2015, the official videogame of the 2015 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP™. The game will be released on July 10th 2015 and is being distributed by BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment across Australia & New Zealand. This will mark the award-winning series’ debut on PlayStation® 4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One. The game will also be available for Windows PC.

As shown in all its glory in the new trailer, the all-new Championship Season is the central game mode in F1 2015, which promises to deliver the most immersive F1 experience yet, thanks to an all-new ‘broadcast presentation’ style that recreates the unique race day atmosphere of a GRAND PRIX™. Brand new session intro sequences reflect the spectacle of the sport, along with the build-up and excitement of each race, as well as the championship season narrative as it unfolds for the player.

“Our new Championship Season and Pro Season modes deliver a much more engaging and fluid FORMULA ONE™ championship experience than ever before”, commented Lee Mather, Principal Games Designer, Codemasters.

“The race weekend is more than just the in-car and on track experience. Observing your driver working with his team during practice and qualifying and listening to the new commentary that sets the scene for the race and season standings is now present for the gamer. Then seeing the busy grid before a race, with all the flavour and character of it, into the race itself, the new television style cameras and replays, and finally the iconic podium celebrations all add to that race experience. The immersion is further enhanced with the voice recognition technology available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles, allowing players to engage with their race engineer through in-game voice commands with Kinect for Xbox One and the PlayStation® Camera or compatible headsets and microphones for PlayStation 4.”

“For those gamers who want the ultimate challenge, then the new Pro Season mode, which ramps up all the settings to the most realistic possible, is really for them”, added Mather. “Full 100% race distances, full practice and qualifying sessions, the most competitive A.I. settings, no flashbacks with which to correct mistakes, all locked into cockpit view with minimal HUD assistance…Pro Season will truly separate the weekend drivers from the experts!”

With the 2015 FORMULA 1 BRITISH GRAND PRIX this coming weekend at the iconic Silverstone circuit, this year’s FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP is already proving to be one of the most exciting seasons in many years, with further anticipation around the return of Mexico for the first time in two decades. In addition to a fully playable 2015 season, gamers will be able to play the full 2014 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP season as bonus content. CALL OF DUTY: ADVANCED WARFARE SUPREMACY AVAILABLE NOW FOR PLAYSTATION AND PC

CALL OF DUTY: ADVANCED WARFARE SUPREMACY AVAILABLE NOW FOR PLAYSTATION AND PC

Sydney, Australia – July 3, 2015 – Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Supremacy, the third DLC pack for Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare is now available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. London and Moscow are just two of the locations players will experience in a diverse collection of multiplayer mayhem, including the return of one of the most iconic multiplayer maps in Call of Duty® history, “Highrise,” which first debuted in 2009’s Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 2, now transported to the year 2054. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Supremacy includes four new, action-packed multiplayer maps, all featuring the new Exo Grapple mechanic, which adds a layer of fun and strategy to the experience.

  • Parliament: Docked on the River Thames, this military cargo ship delivers a view of the London cityscape along with a fast-paced combat experience. Mixed site-lines provide opportunities for all styles of play to dominate this medium-sized map.
  • Kremlin: Gamers must prepare for intense combat in Red Square. Secure elevated positions to give the team a strategic advantage, or use exoskeleton capabilities to avoid being caught in the minefield that activates mid-match.
  • Compound: Players take combat preparation to the limit in an Atlas training facility hidden away in the Colorado wilderness, as they’ll have to be quick on the trigger in this small, symmetrical map, which funnels high-speed combat through tight corners to the main tower structures.
  • Skyrise: Players deploy to an Atlas Skyscraper overlooking the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. Based on the fan-favourite Highrise, from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 by Infinity Ward, this map brings new exoskeleton mechanics to the classic multiplayer layout. Gamers must dominate the power positions in the centre of this small-to-medium sized map to control the key navigation points.

The popular Exo Zombies saga continues in the all-new experience, Carrier. Bruce Campbell (Burn Notice, Bubba Hotep) steps in and joins the battle-hardened cast, including John Malkovich (In the Line of Fire, RED, Burn After Reading), Bill Paxton (Aliens, Titanic, Edge of Tomorrow), Rose McGowan (Planet Terror, Scream), and Jon Bernthal (Fury, The Wolf of Wall Street). In Carrier, players are trapped on an Atlas aircraft carrier and encounter advanced new weaponry, enemy Atlas Strike teams, and a host of new zombie enemies.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Supremacy will be available for an RRP of $19.95.  The Supremacy DLC Pack is also included in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s DLC Season Pass*, featuring all four DLC Packs planned for the year, as part of the discounted bundle.**
