Assassin’s Creed Syndicate may not have been released yet but considering the title is set in Victorian London there is no way that Ubisoft could resist announcing some DLC early for the game by focusing entirely on one of England’s greatest unsolved mysteries.
Ubisoft has announced at Sony’s Tokyo Game Show that some DLC will add content to the game that relates to Jack the Ripper will be released sometime after the game is released. Currently no details for what this Jack the Ripper DLC will contain were revealed, but it does state that it will be included in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s season pass.
If you thought that SNK had vanished from the console gaming world and that King of Fighters would die because of this, well it seems that we have some news for you. During Sony’s Tokyo Game Show press conference it was announced that King of Fighters XIV is in the works for the PlayStation 4 and will be released in Japan on January 21, 2016.
There are currently very few details about what fans can expect of King of Fighters XIV but the reveal trailer, which we will update with when an official one is released, does show that the title now features 3D character models.
A few months back, Warner Bros. gave a pretty exciting announcement; the current cast of Doctor Who would be reprising their roles for the upcoming toys to life game; Lego Dimensions. Well now we have further word that even more illustrious film and television alumni will be joining the fray.

The Ninja Slayer manga is supposedly based on light novels written by Bradley Bond and Philip Ninj@ Morzez. It was originally posted on Twitter by Honda Yu and Sugi Reika, the Japanese ‘translators’. In reality, ‘Bradley Bond’ and ‘Philip Ninj@ Morzez’ do not exist and are most likely an attempt to create a backstory to the series’ creation to add to the appeal of it. Enterbrain began publishing the manga in print in Japan in September 2012.
During the SCEJA Press Conference 2015 Sony announced that they are bringing Gravity Rush to the PlayStation 4 in more than one way. They have announced that they are going to be releasing a Gravity Rush Remaster on the PlayStation 4 in Japan on December 10th where a collector’s edition will include a figurine of Kat.
Following that announcement Sony revealed some news that many fans of the original game have been waiting for and that news happens to be that they are also working on Gravity Rush 2 for release on the PlayStation 4 in 2016. Currently no Western release for these games have been announced but we can expect some more news to be revealed over the next few days.
A few moments ago during SCEJA Press Conference 2015 Sony has announced some news that Bloodborne fans have been eagerly awaiting. The company announced that Bloodborne: The Old Hunters will be released on November 24th and is being described as a full-scale expansion for the game.
It is worth noting that while the digital release will be available on November 24th Bloodborne: The Old Hunters plus the base game will be released on December 3rd in one package. Currently very few details about what will actually be included in this expansion have been revealed but we can likely expect to hear some full details in the coming days.
This is interesting. Many were wondering when a new anime would be announced for Pokemon as X and Y have been steadily wrapping up, and today The Pokemon Company did just that by announcing Pokémon XY&Z- which will debut in Japan later this fall. This new series of course comes with a new plot, mainly focusing on new forms.
In big animation news from Japan, new forms for Zygarde and Ash’s Greninja have been revealed! In the latest season of Pokémon animation, the Legendary Pokémon Zygarde is discovered to have multiple Formes as it develops into the Pokémon you already know…and beyond!
I am curious, I must say. I am also wondering if this will lead to an announcement of a third game from Ninty which would of course be Pokemon Z – featuring this new form for Zygarde. I don’t know how they would work in the new Greninja into the series however as it is Ash’s own personal form, but again – this may be something that is explained later.
If this were a Friends episode, it would be called “The One with the Musical Guest”. Welcome back to another episode of CC Unplugged. This week, Dustin Spencer and Garrett Cheater have a great show in line due to three special guests by the name of Daniel, Juice, and Steven from the band When the Clock Strikes. Get to know a group that you will be hearing a lot about in the future, as this trio speak on their origins, inspirations, and of course their love of video games. Its a great interview that you don’t want to miss.
Grab some tunes from the lovely links down below, tell your friends, and prepare to get UNPLUGGED!
When the Clock Strikes
When the Clock Strikes is a 3-piece pop-punk band founded by Steven Walker, Juice Kirts, & Daniel Basden in the late spring of 2014. Steven introduced his friends Daniel & Juice to each other through a series of jams, and the trio started writing songs together shortly thereafter. The Muskogee natives specialize in writing up-tempo, emotionally charged songs with intentional lyrics. The band has also expresses their affinity for video game culture by covering themes from their favorite games. The band’s first recording, the Glowing in the Dark EP, was recorded with CJ Cochran at Tiger Hart Studios in Tulsa, OK. It was released digitally on November 1st, 2014.
Aquaplus has released a new video for Utawarerurmono: False Mask where members of the staff take some time and play through segments of the game. This video features the voice actors Risa Taneda who voices of Kuon, Inori Minase who voices of Nekone, and finally Kentaro Tone who is the voice of Ukon.
After spending the first few minutes talking and joke around, these three take some time to play through roughly twenty two minutes of the PlayStation 4 version of the game, though it is worth noting that the title will also be available for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita when it is released in Japan on September 24th.
Nintendo has announced that a brand new stage will be added to Super Smash Bros. as DLC and it happens to be a stage designed around the latest Nintendo release, Super Mario Maker. The Super Mario Maker DLC stage will be released on September 30th for the Wii U and 3DS version of the game and will feature quite a few fun mechanics.
At the start of every match a hand will put the stage together and every fight will feature a different construction and anything that is destroyed during the match will be replaced with constant edits forcing players to keep an eye not only on their opponents but also on the changing stage.
A trailer showing off the stage can be found below and when it is released it will cost $2.49 per version or $3.49 for both.
