SAMURAI WARRIORS INVADES DEAD OR ALIVE 5 LAST ROUND WITH NEW COMPETITOR, RETURNING STAGE, AND THEMED DLC OUTFITS
Celebrating the Upcoming Launch of ‘Samurai Warriors 4 Empires,’ Naotora Ii Joins the Battle , Azuchi Stage Returns from ‘DEAD OR ALIVE 3,’ and Themed DLC Outfits Head to PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and Steam® Versions this March
Hertfordshire, 25 February 2016—In anticipation of the upcoming launch of strategy epic Samurai Warriors 4 Empires on March 12th KOEI TECMO Europe and Team Ninja are thrilled to announce a set of exciting new additions headed to DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round this March! Fan-favourite Samurai Warriors 4 character Naotora Ii joins the battle alongside the triumphant (and completely free) return of the Azuchi castle stage from DEAD OR ALIVE 3 on 17th March, and a brand new set of Samurai Warriors-inspired DLC costumes will become available for purchase on 29th March. Fans who purchased the game’s Season Pass 3 will automatically receive all of the Samurai Warriors-inspired content.
Dragged into a mysterious portal by-way-of a M.I.S.T. time-travelling experiment, the ruler of Japan’s Warring States era Ii Clan, Naotora Ii, emerges in present-day next to a competitor of the DEAD OR ALIVE fighting tournament. Given no other choice but to fight for her life, and keeping her family motto of ‘once on the battlefield, one must face the enemy head on’ in mind, a determined Naotora sets out to emerge victorious from this strange new challenge. Specialising in kick-based attacks, Naotora developed her signature ‘Ii Style Leg Strikes’ fighting style after serving under Yoshimoto Imagawa, who based his techniques on his mastery of the traditional Japanese ball game “kemari.” The quick and powerful strikes from her long legs make her a formidable rival to anyone who steps into the ring!
Naotora Ii will be available to download for €5.99. Fans can purchase her debut costume pack for €7.99, or alternatively as a bundle including new character Naotora Ii for €11.99 on 17th March for DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One, and on March 29 for PC via Steam. To whet players’ appetites in the meantime, Team Ninja has shared a variety of images and screenshots of Naotora Ii in action.
March 17 will also see the release of a returning stage that players of DEAD OR ALIVE 5 Last Round can enjoy on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One free of charge. Not seen since DEAD OR ALIVE DIMENSIONS, the beautiful Azuchi stage makes its triumphant return looking better than ever! Dropping competitors into the great hall of Oda Nobunaga’s famous residence, players can break through the walls and continue brawling on its rooftops beneath a full moon. In this three-tier stage the fight can also lead to the ground, where a gorgeous cherry blossom tree overlooks the traditional building lit by torchlight.
Finally, on 29th March, Team Ninja will release a collection of outfits inspired by KOEI TECMO’s celebrated Samurai Warriors series for PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

Medieval Steampunk Tactical Turn-Based RPG Acaratus Secures Funding to Launch in Steam Early Access
Turn-based RPG Acaratus Brings a Novel Take on Tactical Genre With Randomized Maps, Highly Customizable Battle Suits and Collectible Cards
Ronneby, Sweden – February 25th, 2016 – Swedish indie developer Nodbrim Interactive today announced that Acaratus, its medieval steampunk tactical turn-based RPG, has launched on the Early Access stage and is now available through Steam for Windows PC. In Acaratus players build mechanized battle suits and fight to free an enslaved population. After winning Sweden’s Game Concept Challenge for independent developers, Nodbrim Interactive have secured funding to kick-start the development of Acaratus, where players’ strategic skills are put to the test in a beautiful, alternative Steampunk universe.
“Winning the Game Concept Challenge to make Acaratus a reality means so much to us as a team”, said Martin Kupski, Creative Director at Nodbrim Interactive. “We’ll continue to listen to what our steadily growing community wants in order to give them the truly unique strategy experience they deserve”.
Acaratus challenges players with multiple layers of strategy, urging them to plan a few steps ahead. Players have to construct their own mecha units from highly customizable modular attachments and decide between ranged, melee, boosters and defensive parts. Weapons range from war hammers to longer ranged projectile-based weapons, such as cannons. Ability card decks are also used by players as attack, defence or skill boosts to support their unique play styles and help them succeed in deep tactical turn-based gameplay. Combat takes place in a beautiful medieval steampunk setting with randomised maps, and players can also fight each other in the battle arenas.
Early Access will support both single and multiplayer modes. While single player mode will be limited only to skirmish, tutorial and a campaign teaser during Early Access, the full game launch will include an extensive campaign mode with a rich story and many more features that will be announced closer to the release date.
Acaratus is now available through Steam Early Access, priced at $24.99/£17.99/€20.99. Stay tuned for future updates at the Nodbrim Interactive dev blog: http://nodbrim.tumblr.com

About Nodbrm Interactive
Nodbrim Interactive is a small company based in Sweden with big dreams founded by two friends. They used creative ways to fund their project and participated in a business incubator, winning an indie game competition called GCC (Game Concept Challenge) and received a government grant. The company has a trusted group of freelancers working internationally via the web. The ultimate goal of the team is to put out quality niche titles for PC and develop interesting games that make players ruminate.
About Acaratus
Acaratus is a tactical turn-based RPG set in a medieval steampunk world where players build their own mecha units (aka battle suits). They can customize these units to fit their play style by adding attachments and building a deck of ability cards and then explore the vast randomized world map and fight it out on grid-based battles. Essentially the game presents a mashup between Heroes of Might and Magic and Hearthstone.

While developing games there have occasionally been a few mix-ups with a company using either the wrong artwork for a box art or some form of concept art being messed up but rarely do we see a company swipe artwork from another one.

This morning Naughty Dog and Sony released a new trailer for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and while that trailer has been pulled, replaced, and found below, the original video featured artwork taken directly from Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. This cropped artwork was quickly picked up by others and members of the Assassin’s Creed development team as they mocked Naughty Dog for swiping the artwork.
Woooow Uncharted 4 using one of ACIV artwork in their trailer… I get the "thief" title now! https://t.co/rholpuvw9I lol at 1:36
— Aymar Azaïzia (@AymarMtl) February 24, 2016
Naughty Dog released the following statement apologizing for the use of the artwork:
In our eagerness to get the story trailer out we made a regrettable mistake and didn’t thoroughly vet the art work used for an in game painting. We’ve already updated the trailer. We hold all artistry in high regard and take full responsibility for having allowed this to happen.
We want to sincerely apologize to everyone at Ubisoft, the Assassin’s Creed team, the original artist, and our fans.

Io Interactive and Square Enix have released a new video for Hitman and it is meant to bridge the twenty year gap in the Hitman game between the end of the Prologue and the Sanguine Fashion Show in Paris.
You can check out the video below and for those who never had a chance to get a chance to try out the closed beta, then you’ll have the option of accessing the apparent PlayStation 4 exclusive Open Beta that will start on March 4th without having to pre-order the game. Currently the first segment of Hitman will be released on March 11th for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and on the PC on March 12th.
