A few new details for the upcoming Experience developed PS Vita RPG Demon Gaze II have been released through this week’s Dengeki PlayStation. As we already learned, the Rent system from the first game has been removed and added to the game now come maintenance and dating systems. In the maintenance room players will be to “perform maintenance” on a demon using crystals that they find within various dungeons which are then used to find “feel good” spots for demons.
As for the dating system, players will be able to enjoy various events with demons that they have raised and increase their favorability level during a date to increase their abilities. As something of an added bonus and something that can extend the appeal of the game, both female and male demons can be dated and have maintenance performed on them though at the moment only one male demon by the name of Kanis has been revealed for Demon Gaze II.
Gambitious (Hard West) and Arachnid Games announced today that their next project is the action adventure game Diluvion. Players will take control of a submarine after a giant flood puts most of the world under water. Resources are dwindling and the best source of resources lay under the impenetrable ice sheets. Players will explore the sea, discovering new ports to trade scavenged resources, find bounties, and meeting new factions.
The game features nine unique submarines that can be manned with AI controlled officers. Ambitious captains will even be able to build their own base under the ice to store their riches and their arsenal.
Arachnid Games has drawn inspiration from classic space sims like Wing Commander and Freelancer and mixed it with Jules Verne to create the a really unique twist on the space sim genre. Diluvion has an interesting steam punk vibe combined with an art deco style.
Diluvion will launch on Steam for Mac and Windows this fall. No price has been announced as of yet.
Koei Tecmo has begun what will be a series of character introduction videos for Berserk and of course they are kicking it off with the main character of the series Guts. This short video gives us a look at a few of Guts’ designs throughout the series as well as how he fights against enemies in combat.
You can check out the video below and as for the game itself Berserk is currently set to be released in Japan on October 27th and has already been confirmed for release in the West on PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and PC though at the moment the company has not stated whether or not the “Wet” Casca costume shown at the end of the video will be offered at launch in the West.
In the Outback, you need a rig that’s tough, reliable and not afraid to get dirty. That’s why, for this week’s edition of the Forza Garage for Forza Horizon 3, we chose three very specific vehicles to spotlight. The rigs in this trio of rugged automotive awesomeness were born for getting off the beaten path. From buggies with enough suspension to suck up anything that comes at them, to the SUV that “conquered Australia,” these vehicles are ready for anything.
At the top of the list, we have the original Meyer’s Manx dune buggy, a vehicle that broke new ground for adventurous drivers. For those looking for race-bred technology at its best, the Penhall Cholla has chalked up wins just about everywhere in Class 10. And when it comes to overall brawn, the Toyota FJ40 is a worldwide favourite.
Throughout the remainder of this week’s car announces, you will find more vintage Australian muscle in the Ford Falcon XY GTHO Phase III and some tough trucks to blaze a trail with, like the Ford Raptor Race Truck, the Jeep Cherokee SRT and the Ram Runner.
Here’s a closer look at this week’s spotlight cars:
1971 Meyers Manx
Bruce Meyers created the Meyers Manx when he was living in a shed and building boats out of a then relatively new material called fiberglass. The shape of the Manx created an allure that spoke to those in search of freedom and fun. It was copied by many companies seeking to profit from Meyers’ design, but none have matched the style and form of the original. The lightweight chassis fitted with a Volkswagen engine and suspension found its way into many record books in the desert, hill climb racing and even drag racing. Whether you are putting the Manx through its paces or just cruising around enjoying the open-air ride, there’s nothing else like this original dune buggy.
2011 Penhall Cholla
In the desert, the Cholla is the meanest cactus around with its needle-like spines partially enclosed in a papery sheath. In the buggy world, Penhall’s Cholla is one mean mother as well and ready to destroy the competition when it comes to sucking up bumps and flying across rough terrain. When the Cholla debuted at the Baja 1000 in 2011, it won Class 10 by four hours – that’s a margin that doesn’t even leave its dust to be eaten. With more than 20 inches of wheel travel in the front and back, punishing environments will feel silky smooth and the hugest jumps will be absorbed with a smooth landing. Buggies are a staple for the Outback and the Cholla is without a doubt one of the best in the business.
1979 Toyota FJ40
Among iconic SUVs, the FJ40 deserves its place near the top. Designated F for the engine and J40 for the short wheelbase chassis (there are mid and long wheelbase models as well), this competitor to the Jeep CJ and Land Rover has a long and loyal global following. The coming of the FJ40 can also be thanked for building worldwide confidence in the reliability and durability of Toyota vehicles since 1960, when the model was first introduced. The FJ40 is a rugged off-road vehicle that is happiest when it is covered in muck, fording a river or climbing a mountain. Hop in and let your Australian adventure begin.
In addition to the highlighted cars above, here is the full list of cars (and images) announced during the fourth week of the Forza Garage series for Forza Horizon 3. Stay tuned to Xbox Wire and ForzaMotorsport.net for more additions in the coming weeks.

Nippon Ichi Software has announced that they are working on a rather strange sounding title by the name of The Princess is Money-Hungry. What we know about the title so far is that it is set in an era where capitalism is on the rise after the fall of the era of powerful warriors. This means money can buy anything and everything in the game will revolve around this aspect, such as obtaining money from defeating powerful enemies or flat out buying them to join your side with cash.
Apparently money can even be used to perform special moves. A few images of the game have been released so far and you can check them out above and below, currently this PS Vita action RPG is set to be released later this year on November 24th in Japan.
It looks like Koei Tecmo is going to be pulling an old trick out of their hats when it comes to Atelier Firis: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Journey. This weeks issue of Dengeki PlayStation has revealed that Atelier Firis will once again see the return of Logy, which isn’t much of a surprise considering his appearance in Atelier Sophie, as well as the appearance of Escha.
However it seems Escha is completely different in nature to how fans of the games remember her as she is only an eleven year old child alchemist in this game. This is a slightly altered approach compared to the young Rorona that was introduced in Atelier Meruru but runs along the same lines. According to the magazine, Escha lives in the town of Flussheim and is a very curious girl that likes to manipulate Logy and is childhood friends with Mea, a tomboy who manages a shop. Logy continues to work as a blacksmith and is 27 year old in this game.
The first full trailer for Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star has been released in Japanese by Sony and Marvelous. This almost three minute long video introduces a number of the playable Servants that have already been revealed for the game as they use their moves to take on the many foes that they will be facing off against in this Warriors style game.
The video can be found below and as for the game itself, Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star is set to be released in Japan on November 10th for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita and has already been confirmed for release in the West by XSEED Games.
A new set of screenshots and a few pieces of artwork have been released for Dishonored 2 by Bethesda and Arkane Studios. These newest images focus on showing off some of the environments players will be exploring as well as some characters that they will encounter, including what looks like the design for one of the standard soldiers in the game.
You can check out the images below and as for the game itself, Dishonored 2 is set to be released on November 11th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC and those who pre-order the game will be given a free digital copy of Dishonored: Definitive Edition.
