World of Tanks Blitz to Host its First Global eSports Tournament

Wargaming reveals Blitz Twister Cup and an exclusive tank at Tokyo Game Show

September 20, 2016 — At this year’s Tokyo Game Show, World of Tanks Blitz rolled out the big guns. Among the announcements was Blitz Twister Cup and the reveal of the Okawara tank, which will be the first in a series of vehicles designed in cooperation with famous artists from across the globe as part of the Artist Signature Label.

With Blitz Twister Cup, World of Tanks Blitz is firmly stepping into the competitive gaming arena. This will be the first global eSports tournament, reserved for Clan players. If you have been waiting for an opportunity to really test your teamwork and tank skills, this is it. After the online preliminary matches, a winner from each region will be determined. The four best teams will clash in the ultimate championship battle, in a special offline event. Registration for the tournament will begin soon, so be sure to keep an eye on the official portal. Now, with the World of Tanks Blitz Artist Signature Label, we’ll be teaming up with famed artists from across the globe to create exclusive tanks. The first off the production line is the O-47 project, a unique vehicle designed by iconic mecha artist Kunio Okawara, famous for his work on the Gundam and Brave Series franchises.

LONDON (19^th September 2016) – During Tokyo Game Show this weekend,  Square Enix Ltd.,revealed the final episode of BROTHERHOOD FINAL FANTASY XV™ detailing the events that set the stage for young Noctis, his family and his friends. The episode also features an epic battle that Noctis takes on ten years later against the massive snake-like monster, Marilith.

The BROTHERHOOD FINAL FANTASY XV anime series delves into the extraordinary friendships between Crown Prince Noctis and his three comrades, and provides the backdrop to the adventure players will set out upon in the FINAL FANTASY® XV game.

During the show, SQUARE ENIX also announced KING’S KNIGHT -Wrath of the Dark Dragon –, a new action RPG mobile game from the FINAL FANTASY XV Universe for iOS and Android devices. Within FINAL FANTASY XV, Noctis and his friends can often be found playing this title during their downtime.

The title is a nod to one of SQUARE ENIX’s earliest games, King’s Knight, which predates the FINAL FANTASY series. Originally launched 30 years ago, King’s Knight was a scrolling shooting game for the Nintendo Entertainment System that was developed by Hironobu Sakaguchi and Nobuo Uematsu.

King’s Knight -Wrath of the Dark Dragon- features a completely new story and world with an exciting multiplayer mode for up to four players. The free to play title is planned for release on the Appstore and Google Play Store later this year.
